FRIDAY KHUTBAH, THE TRIPLE FILTER TEST.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Jumuat. 24th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Friday 3rd May 2024). *_FRIDAY KHUTBAH, THE TRIPLE FILTER TEST_*. BismilLahir Rahmanir Raheem. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Keep away from ill-thinking/suspicions because ill-thinking is the greatest falsehood.” [Sahih Bukhari].    During the Abbasid period, one of the scholars in Baghdad was greeted by an acquaintance who said, "Do you know what I just heard about your friend?"   Scholar: "Hold on a minute, before telling me anything I'd like you to pass a little test. It's called the Triple Filter Test." The Man: "Triple Filter Test?" Scholar: "That's right, before you talk to me about my friend it might be a good idea to take a moment and filter what you're going to say. That's why I call it the triple filter test. The first filter is Truth. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is tru

LET'S BE MUSLIMS BY ACTION NOT BY NAME

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 23rd day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Thursday 2nd May 2024). *_LET'S BE MUSLIMS BY ACTION NOT BY NAME_*. BismilLah. What the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the righteous early generations agreed upon on this topic is that faith consists of both words and deeds, and may increase and decrease; there is no faith unless it is accompanied by actions. Saying I am a Muslim is not enough my brothers and sisters. We must act to earn that title of A MUSLIM. We must SHOW to non Muslims what Islam is all about not by telling them or by our dress code. It's a sad reality that We Muslims are Minority to non Muslims but unfortunately majority of thieves/fornicators/gamblers etc in any community maybe Muslims, majority of bad boys or girls today are Muslims, the title A MUSLIM is now associated with bad name why? Because we are failing to live our lives by the Qur'an and Sunnah that's all.  We Muslims of today are by name not by actions. We are busy wit

THE GREATNESS OF SAYING LAA HAWLA WALAA KUWATA ILLAA BILLAH

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 22nd day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 1st April 2024). *_THE GREATNESS OF SAYING LAA HAWLA WALAA KUWATA ILLAA BILLAH_*. BismilLah.  This phrase is one of our greatest weapons as Muslims. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam actually said that this phrase is what is written underneath the thrown of the Almighty ALLAH ALLAHU AKBAR. if you say this phrase sincerely with full trust in your heart about its powerful nature, trust me you can even step on a wounded wild snake by mistake, it cannot bite you by the will of ALLAH. The phrase basically means; There is no power or strength except with ALLAAH. Saying this phrase means you accept you cannot do anything without the support of ALLAH that's why even before salaat when the muazzin says hayya alas Salaat/ Fallah, we respond by saying the above phrase to mean that even with the salaat we cannot offer it without the support of ALLAH.  It was narrated that Anas i

THE DANGEROUS NATURE OF OUR SADAQAH/ CHARITY/ SUPPORT FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS IF NOT FOR ALLAH SAKE

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm al-ithnayn. 21st day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 30th April 2024). *_THE DANGEROUS NATURE  OF OUR SADAQAH/ CHARITY/ SUPPORT FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS IF NOT FOR ALLAH SAKE_*. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in the holy QUR'AN 2:264. يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُبۡطِلُواْ صَدَقَٰتِكُم بِٱلۡمَنِّ وَٱلۡأَذَىٰ  O you who believe! Do not render in vain your Sadaqah (charity) by reminders of your generosity or by injury,  ALLAH then says, كَالَّذِي يُنفِقُ مَالَهُ رِيَاء النَّاسِ like him who spends his wealth to be seen of men, meaning, "Do not nullify your acts of charity by following them with reminders and harm, just like the charity of those who give it to show off to people." The boasting person pretends to give away charity for ALLAH'S sake, but in reality seeks to gain people's praise and the reputation of being kind or generous, or other material gains of this life. All the while, he does not think about ALLAH or gaining

Who's Your Friend?* [[----Episode Two---]]

*Who's Your Friend?* [[----Episode Two---]] ------------------------------- *Everyone Need Friends But Not Everyone Has Them* بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم On the Day of Judgment there won’t be any friends, rather it would be such a situation that friends would turn into enemies 📚(Quran chapter 43 verse 67). At such an instance, only those who are pious would remain friends of each other. Therefore, if one is to make friends, then he or she should make friends who are pious *(not those who leur you into extra marital affairs or boyfriend girlfriend stuff or backbittng, slander, visiting so-called Alfas who claim to have the knowledge of unseen and fortunetellers, cheating on ur spouses etc),* because such friends don’t just remain friends in this world only, rather they remain friends in the world hereafter as well. Muslim Faithful! When considering your friendships, remember the wise saying: *“Being alone is better than having an evil companion; and having a sincere companion is better

Who's Your Friend?* [[----Episode One---]]

*Who's Your Friend?* [[----Episode One---]] ------------------------------- *Everyone Need Friends But Not Everyone Has Them* بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم It is imperative that a Muslim be selective when it comes to making friends. This is because, being friends with good or the righteous ones results in following the path of righteousness in this world and receiving according reward in the world hereafter, whereas, befriending bad, hypocrites and evils neither ends well in this world nor in the world hereafter. But generally, Human Beings in all phases of life, from the very beginning of childhood and youth till old-age, are in need of friendship and association with others. Owing to his social nature, man is compelled to live in society and with other individuals, he must benefit from the aid and cooperation of friends. Muslim Faithful! Allah Almighty says in the glorious Quran: ٱلْأَخِلَّآءُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ “Friends on the Day will be ene

LET'S TURN TO ALLAH SINCERELY SEEKING HIS PARADISE

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm al-ithnayn. 20th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Monday 29th April 2024). *_LET'S TURN TO ALLAH SINCERELY SEEKING HIS PARADISE_*. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 66:8; يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ امَنُوا تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَّصُوحًا O you who believe! Turn to ALLAH with sincere repentance! meaning, a true, firm repentance that erases the evil sins that preceded it and mend the shortcoming of the repenting person, encouraging and directing him to quit the evil that he used to do. It may be that your Lord will expiate from you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, And when ALLAH says, "it may be," it means HE shall. HE continued by saying  يَوْمَ لَا يُخْزِي اللَّهُ النَّبِيَّ وَالَّذِينَ امَنُوا مَعَهُ  the Day that ALLAH will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believe with
