SEEKING GUIDANCE IN ALL WE DO

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-khamis. 13th day of RAJAB (Thursday 25th February 2021). *_SEEKING GUIDANCE IN ALL WE DO_*. Bismillah. ALLAH, the Exalted, thought us a powerful dua in the Qur’an which is; _رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَاماً_ Our Lord Bestow on us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us an Imaam (leader/guide) for the pious (Muttaqoon)*. That's one of the best duas for married couple to be reciting. *(Rabbanaa hab lanaa min azwaajinaa wa dhurriyaatinaa qurrata a`ayunin wa’j`alnaa li’l muttaqiina imaama)” [Qur’an, 25:74]. ALLAH is teaching us how to seek guidance in all we do. If we do things with intentions to please ALLAH, we will never regret our act as ALLAH will guide us through. Let's strive to purify our intentions and actions. Let's avoid fornication and adultery bcs these are 2 dangerous acts for ALLAH to humiliate us in dunya. If you are marr...

Are you prepared to meet your Lord ?

﷽ ➖➖➖ *THE DAY OF REGRET (يـوم الحسـرة)* ➖➖➖ *Are you prepared to meet your Lord ?* ➖➖➖ *Watch on YouTube:* https://youtu.be/cfi1Dygqgt0 ➖➖➖ What beautiful words from the Shaykh. [Watch the video] __ Allah ﷻ says about mankind *يَقُوْلُ يٰلَيْتَنِى قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِى*   _Man will say "Ah! Would it had been that I had sent forth my life"_ [89:24] Your life is short Wallah.  It is like the time between the Adhaan and the Salah. Because the Adhaan is read over you when you are born. (Note: There's difference of opinion regarding the authenticity of the hadith regarding giving adhan to a newborn baby) All that's left is the Salah that will be prayed over you when you leave this world. _ But you need to reflect,  Have I, as a Mu'min done enough? Have I, as part of the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ done enough?  Have I done enough to earn the pleasure of Allah ﷻ, the mercy of Allah ﷻ so that I can enter Jannah? Prevent yourself from regretting on a Day when no regret will he...

ARE YOU ANGRY?

*ARE YOU ANGRY?* The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,  "Do not be angry." [Muwatta 1646] It should be noted that in the sharh of Muwatta by az-Zurqani there is a distinction made between two kinds of anger:  1) Getting angry about wordly matters. One should not get angry about those things which cause them anger. This is what the hadith is referring to and is hated. 2) Responding angrily regarding religious matters. Such as the people of falsehood (e.g. when they invent new lies against the Prophet ﷺ). This recommended and may be even obligatory. Meaning getting angry about things regarding the deen is not always seen as a bad behaviour unlike many people who claim it is. Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that  He (may Allah bestow peace and blessings upon him) said,  “A gold coin spent in the path of Allah,  a gold coin spent freeing a slave, a gold coin given in charity to the poor,  a gold coin spent upon your family;  the grea...

A dip in Jannah

*A dip in Jannah:* ❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧 ❝When the people of Jannah will reunite, they will remember all the times they spoke about Jannah in this world. They’ll look back and laugh, at how short life was, and then smile, because beautiful is their final abode. ❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧 The people of paradise will have all that they desire. One step into Jannah and they will remember no pain. They will say they never suffered, they will say they never cried. A dip in Jannah. ❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧 Oh how much we long for that moment. The moment where we reunite, we hug our loved ones once again. We forget about all the pain, and thank Allāh for all the tests! ❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧 How strange does it seem, that these tests which weigh a ton on our chest today will one day elevate us. Elevate us so high, that we will thank Allāh. We will thank Him for testing us, for loving us and for giving us more than anyone could imagine. ❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧❄️💧 A place of eternity, vast, beautiful, peacef...

A Guide On How To Deal With The Covid-19 Pandemic From An Islamic Perspective! Episode 13 WHEN SYMPTOMS GET WORSE

﷽ *A Guide On How To Deal With The Covid-19 Pandemic From An Islamic Perspective!* *Episode 13* *WHEN SYMPTOMS GET WORSE* General repentance Repentance has two parts: [Sharh Muslim by An-Nawawi (9/20-21), Al-Madaarij (1/192) & Tafseer Ibn Kathir (2/236)] Making general repentance ensures forgiveness for all of one's sins, even if they don’t remember each sin individually, as long as: 1- if they were to remember the sin, they would repent from it. 2- the individual doesn’t have a love or connection towards the sin. - Ibn Taymiyyah *1. The Rights of Allah* Making complete repentance (tawbah) The conditions for the Rights of Allah: [Al Fataawa Al-Kubra (5/279)] 1. Be sincere towards Allah. 2. Stop doing the sin. 3. Regret the sin. 4. Having a strong resolve not to repeat the sin. 5. Before seeing the Angel of Death.

Verily, your Lord is Quick in Retribution (for the disobedient, wicked) and certainly He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (for the obedient and those who beg Allah's Forgiveness). #COMMENTARY See Deuteronomy, chapter xi, verse 28: "A curse if ye will not obey the Commandments of the Lord your God but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day": also Deuteronomy, chapter xxviii, verse 49; The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from afar, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth: a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand"; and many other pas...

PRINCIPLES OF ISLAMIC PARENTING

PRINCIPLES OF ISLAMIC PARENTING Muslim approach to parenting Our children are an amanah from Allah swt. The best gift we can give our Muslim children is a proper upbringing. But as parents we can all agree that parenting can be confusing and daunting as babies do not come with an instruction manual. On top, each child is different making our job as parents even more harder. Parenting really is the hardest job ever. So what effective approach can parents follow to upbring children who can be successful in this world and next? I took a few parenting class at our local masjid taught by Shaykh Yaser Birjas. I’ve heard him mention this below Hadith a few times in the last 2-3 years. As I thought more and more about this Hadith, I realized Islam has provided some wonderful guidelines for parents in order to raise our children. “Play with them for the first seven years (of their life); then teach them for the next seven years; then advise them for the next seven years (and after that).” ...
