An Exceptional Prayer…Salaatu Tasbeeh

*An Exceptional Prayer…Salaatut Tasbeeh* In life there are occasions and opportunities where a person has a chance to increase in profits and rewards significantly. One of such opportunity is the Blessed Month of Ramadaan, wherein rewards are multiplied enormously. This is a time where we can exert ourselves in prayers to gain nearness to Allah Ta’ala. An exceptional prayer that can be performed in Ramadaan as well as throughout the year is Salaatut Tasbeeh, a special prayer taught to the Muslim Ummah by The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him). Salatut Tasbeeh is a special Salaah that carries great rewards and blessings. Hazrat Abdullah ibn Abbas (Radiyallaahu Anhu) reports that Nabi (Salallaahu Alaihi Wasalaam) said to him: “ *O Abbas! O my uncle! Should I present to you a gift? Should I bestow something to you? Should I inform you of something greatly beneficial? Should I show you such an act which, if you render it, Allah will forgive all your sins – old and new, those com

HOW TO REMAIN STEADFAST IN ISLAM EVEN AFTER RAMADAN

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 25th day of Ramadhan (Thursday 30th May 2019). *_HOW TO REMAIN STEADFAST IN ISLAM EVEN AFTER RAMADAN_*. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Islam is a complete way of life till death not only in Ramadan. ALLAH has taught us all we need to get to Jannat (Paradise) through the Quran and teachings of our beloved Messenger of ALLAH Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam. The Quran is the main means for one to remain steadfast, and attachment to it preserves and safeguards a person during trials. He who abides by it will be protected by ALLAH, and he who calls people to it will himself be guided to the straight path. ALLAH informs us that the reason behind HIM revealing the Quran in segments and over a long period not only in Ramadan is that it would thereby be a means for steadfastness. He Almighty Says what means: “And those who disbelieve say: ‘Why was the Quran not revealed to him all at once?’ Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your h

A MOTHER IN RAMADĀN

*A MOTHER IN RAMADĀN* Ramadaan is the most important month of the Islamic year. It is in this month that the family worships Allah Ta'ala and practices Islam more fervently and with greater enthusiasm. The Muslim family spend precious moments of their time together during Iftaar and Suhoor. These two meals provide the fuel and blessing that grant a Muslim the physical and spiritual strength to fast. The food Muslims consume plays a critical role in their worship. Allah mentions in the Quran : “ Eat what is wholesome and do good deeds .[23:51]” In other words, wholesome and halaal food promotes good character and actions. The responsibility of ensuring that wholesome meals are provided for the family rests on the father and mother. The father earns pure and halaal sustenance. The mother ensures that the food that is consumed is wholesome and halaal. A few ideas on how a mother can create an Islamic home in Ramadhaan: 1⃣Encourage children to recite Quran regularly every day

For when will one take a lesson and change for better if not in the month of Ramadan? The noble month is a true school of transformation in which we change our actions, habits and manners that are in variance with the Law of ALLAH 'azza wa jall.ALLAH says in Quran: Verily, HE does not change the condition of a people until they change their ways of life. If you are from those who benefited from Ramadhan, fulfilled the requirements of taqwa, truly fasted the month, prayed in it with truthfulness, and strove against your soul, then praise and thank ALLAH, and ask HIM for steadfastness upon it until we return to our Creator. Those who do that enjoys what ALLAH promised in  Suuratul Fussilat (41): 30-32. Read for yourself to see how beautiful this promise of ALLAH is. Among them is our salaat and it's timing. As soon as you finish offering your fajir you start programing yourself for zuhur wherever you maybe. Striving to please your parents, supporting any charitable activities. Visiting the sick. Helping fellow Muslims in need especially the orphans. Striving to obey ALLAH and ignore any satanic influences. SOME RULES OF ITIKAAF

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 21st day of Ramadhan (Sunday 26th May 2019). *_SOME RULES OF ITIKAAF_*. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem.  Undoubtedly i’tikaaf in the mosque is an act of worship, and (observing it) in Ramadaan is better than at other times. It is prescribed in Ramadaan and at other times. The basic principle is that i’tikaaf is Sunnah, not obligatory, so those who can do it must strive to do so. A person should stay in a mosque for the duration of the I’tikaf (except for certain things as going out to ease yourself if the masjid has no toilet facilities). Our mother Aa’ishah may ALLAH be pleased with her reported that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) observed I’tikaf, he did not enter the house except to relieve himself. Narrated by Muslim (297). Similarly, he or she also needs to eat and drink. If he does not have anyone who can bring him food and drink, then he may go out to get them if he needs to.
