What is wali and who is a wali in marriage

What is wali and who is a wali in marriage. ALHAMDULILLAH, wali means guardian or someone who rrpesenr something. This is one of the on obligatory thing marriage cannot take place without it. Allah says in Qur'an, An-Nisa' 4:25 And whoever among you cannot [find] the means to marry free, believing women, then [he may marry] from those whom your right hands possess of believing slave girls. And Allah is most knowing about your faith. You [believers] are of one another. So marry them with the permission of their people and give them their due compensation [i.e., mahr] according to what is acceptable. [They should be] chaste, neither [of] those who commit unlawful intercourse randomly nor those who take [secret] lovers. But once they are sheltered in marriage, if they should commit adultery, then for them is half the punishment for free [unmarried] women. This [allowance] is for him among you who fears affliction [i.e., sin], but to be patient is better for you. And Allah is Forg

The two people Allah will smile with.

The two people Allah will smile with. Alhamdulillah, let's remind ourselves as verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction. An hadith of Abu hurayrah r.a saying, Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah, the Exalted, smiles at two men, one of them killed the other and both will enter Jannah. The first is killed by the other while he is fighting in the Cause of Allah, and thereafter Allah will turn in mercy to the second and guide him to accept Islam and then he dies as a Shaheed (martyr) fighting in the Cause of Allah." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] Riyadus soaliheen. Book 1, Hadith 24  This is when a person kills the other in jahiliyyah and then later accepted Islam and reform and practice what Allah wants, he too will enter jannah as in case of wahsh and hamza r a. Wahsh killed hamza in battle of uhud and later accepted Islam and killed musailimah al kaththab. May Allah guides our eeman. Aamin

EASY GOOD DEEDS WITH GREAT REWARDS

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum al-ithnayn. 27th day of Rajab. (Monday, 28th February 2022). *_EASY GOOD DEEDS WITH GREAT REWARDS_*. BismilLah.  ALLAH has made many good deeds for us, acts of worship and kindness towards others, which are easy to do and are greatly rewarded. These deeds might appear small in the sight of people but they can become as heavy as mountains on the scale of good on the Day of Resurrection. We should become familiar with them so we can practice them daily and thereby earn their blessings. Perhaps the easiest deeds for us to do are to fill our days with supplications, praising and glorifying ALLAH morning and night in particular. Every supplication will be counted among our good deeds and will erase our sins. Of course, we must not merely say them outwardly as we must also be sincere and act upon the meaning of these supplications. Sheikh Abu Huraira may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: كَلِ

ALLAH IS ENOUGH FOR THOSE WHO PUT THEIR TRUST IN HIM

*ALLAH IS ENOUGH FOR THOSE WHO PUT THEIR TRUST IN HIM*:🚩🚩 Narrated Ibn 'Abbas [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Seventy thousand people of my followers will enter Paradise without account, and they are those who do not practise Ar-Ruqyah* and do not see an evil omen in things, and put their trust in their Lord."  [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 8/6472 (O.P.479)] b) Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "An Israeli man asked another Israeli to lend him one thousand dinars. The second man required witnesses. The former replied, 'Allah is Sufficient as a Witness.' The second said, 'I want a surety.' The former replied, 'Allah is Sufficient as a Surety.' The second said, 'You are right' and lent him the money for a certain period. The debtor went across the sea. When he finished his job, he searched for a conveyance so that he might reach in time for the repayment of the debt, but he could n

Have a Soft Heart

Have a Soft Heart THERE are many ways through which one can become deeply devout and pious and have a soft heart. The best and most important of such ways is to have deep faith in Almighty Allah. True believers who deeply understand Almighty Allah s attributes and names revere Allah with all their hearts and show complete obedience to His teachings. Whenever they hear a verse of Almighty Allah s Book or a Hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him), they hasten to abide by the teaching implied therein, uttering in deep faith (We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your forgiveness, our Lord and to You is the return (of all). Al-Baqarah 2:285.  Following are things that help one attain piety and devotion:Understanding Almighty Allah s attributes and names: When believers contemplate Almighty Allah s names and attributes and believe that only in Almighty Allah s hands is the dominion over all things and that only He can protect them but none can protect against the Most High, they will do their

A LIFE OF SINS?

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad. 26th day of Rajab. (Sunday, 27th February 2022). *_A LIFE OF SINS_*? BismilLah.  Human beings are difficult sometimes isn't it? If you had an argument with someone, and then you try to talk to them again, you’ll feel like things are not the same anymore. They might not meet you with the same open arms and complete acceptance like before. And if you had several problems or downfalls with the same person, then that person might black-list you and make sure not to accept you back in his/her life because of your shortcomings.  This is how we treat each other most times. But this is NOT how ALLAH treats us! ALLAH’s Name is ArRahman ArRaheem (The Continuously Merciful, The Especially Merciful), and HE is indeed uniquely and exceedingly Merciful than any of HIS creation. If you want to turn to ALLAH in repentance and you are embarrassed or ashamed of your sins and mistakes, ALLAH will never meet you with rejection or lack of trust. On the absolu

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘁 ‎ﷺ 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗺𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 It will be no surprise to hear that the Prophet’s response to moments of extreme difficulty was to turn to Allah SWT. The manner and extent to which he ﷺ confided in Him, however, is truly Prophetic. The Prophet ﷺ abandoned every facet of his world and turned to his Friend. He ﷺ did not ask with hope, but rather with absolute certainty, that his Lord – his Rabb – was the solution. The Prophet ﷺ had a two-step process when encountering hardship: 1. Turn to Allah SWT in prayer and confide in Him 2. Seek counsel from his trusted confidants  The order of his process, however, never changed. A person’s immediate response to an event is quite telling of their mindset and understanding, and the Prophet ﷺ always – without exception – turned to the Creator in prayer before consulting His creation.               𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 Prior to the Battle of Badr, 313 Muslims were en route to i

What is ‘Imān’ and how many pillars does it have?

Q: *What is ‘Imān’ and how many pillars does it have?* A: ‘Imān’ is: Belief and conviction in the heart, Speech of the tongue. Action of the limbs. Imān increases by performing good deeds and decreases by commiting sins. Allah عزوجل said: *“Verily, We have sent you (O Muhammad) as a witness, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner.”* [48:8], The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: ```“Imān is seventy odd branches: the highest is to say that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah (Laa ilaaha ill- Allah), the lowest is to remove harm from the path; and modesty is a branch of imān (faith).”``` [reported by Muslim], what supports this fact is the enthusiasm which a Muslim feels in seasons of good deeds [such as Ramadān and Hajj] and the slackening a Muslim feels upon committing sins. Allah (عزوجل) says: *“Indeed good deeds do away with the evil ones.”* [11:114] Imān has six pillars, as mentioned in the Hadith of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم): ```“Imān is to believe in Allah, H

WHEN SHOULD HANDS BE RAISED DURING THE PRAYER?

﷽ ➖➖➖ FACTSINISLAM📌 ➖➖➖ *WHEN SHOULD HANDS BE RAISED DURING THE PRAYER?* ➖➖➖ Answer Praise be to Allah. It is Sunnah to raise one’s hands in four places during the prayer: When pronouncing Takbeer al-Ihraam (the first Takbeer), when bowing in Rukoo’, when rising from Rukoo’ and when standing up after the first Tashahhud. Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) narrated that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) started his prayer, he would say “Allaahu akbar” and raise his hands, when he bowed in rukoo’ he would raise his hands, when he said “Sami’a Allaahu liman hamidah [Allaah hears those who praise Him]” he would raise his hands, and when he stood up after two Rak’ahs he would raise his hands. (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 2/222; Abu Dawood, 1/197). The meaning of “when he stood up after two Rak’ahs he would raise his hands” is, when he stood up after the first Tashahhud. The hands may be raised to the level of the shoulders or the ears. See Al-‘Ayni fi’l-‘Um

The importance of attending jumuah early.

The importance of  attending jumuah early. ALHAMDULILLAH, attending jumuah early has a great reward. As reported from many hadiths. An hadith of Abu hurayrah r.a saying, There is an angel on every door of the mosque recording him first who (comes) first (to the mosque for Friday prayer). And he [the Prophet] likened him to one who offers a camel as a sacrifice and then he went on in the descending order till he reached the point at which the minimum (sacrifice) is that of an egg. And when the Imam sits (on the pulpit) the sheets are folded and they (the angels) attend to the mention of Allah. Reference : Sahih Muslim 850 d In-book reference : Book 7, Hadith 36 It is forbidden when one enters masjid to sit without making tahiyyatul masjid. So one prays two rakaah even if the imam is making khutbah as reported from hadith, A man entered the masjid and sat while the messenger of Allah pbuh was delivering khutbah and said to the man, Have you pray the two rakaah? ENDURING GRIEF AND HARDSHIP IN LIFE AS MUSLIMS continues

Let's continue from the reminder yesterday; Hadith narrated by Abu ‘Abbas ‘Abdullah, says: "Remember ALLAH in times of ease, and HE will be there for you in times of distress. What hit you could not have missed you, what missed you could not have hit you. Remember that victory comes with patience. My dear Brothers and Sisters, "verily in the Messenger of ALLAH we have the finest of examples" Even he, Prophet Muhammad sallal-láhu ‘alayhi wasallam also endured much pain and hardship, especially in his youth, with extraordinary patience and perseverance. He was an orphan, cared for by milk-mothers, grandfather, and uncles. During the early years of his mission, he was jeered, taunted, threatened, reviled and persecuted by his own tribe, the Quraish of Makka. Many of his followers were killed for their ac

I saw something like that standing on the running water which falls from the body during ghusl breaks the wudu? Is is true? As in shower box I will be standing on the water which falls from my body.* *Answer* *Praise be to Allah.* Standing on the water that falls from the body whilst doing ghusl or wudoo’ does not invalidate wudoo’, because the water that falls from the body during an obligatory ghusl or wudoo’ is taahir (pure). In fact, even if we assume that this water that falls from the body is najis (impure), such as if there was a hole in the roof of the bathroom from which some impurity fell down, and some of that fell onto his body, then his wudoo’ would not become invalid just bec

IGNORANT PIETY

*IGNORANT PIETY* It is reported that *Imām Muḥammad b. Sīrīn – Allāh* have mercy on him – said: There were people who abandoned knowledge and sitting with the scholars, and [instead] took to their chambers and prayed until their skin dried [from exertion in worship]. Thereafter they began to contradict the Sunnah and thus were destroyed. By Allāh, never does a person act without knowledge, except that he spoils and corrupts more than he fixes and rectifies. *Al-Aṣbahānī, Al-Targhīb wa Al-Tarhīb 3:98*

HELL AND PARADISE

*HELL AND PARADISE* Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (RA): ALLAH'S Messenger (ﷺ) said, "When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise. By HIM in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad (ﷺ) is everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world." *[Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol 3, Book 46, Hadith 1]* Be careful in life because even the smallest of actions can have a detrimental effect in the afterlife. You may type something online about someone or in a message and inadvertently engage in backbiting or slander. This moment of impulsive commenting may be something that removes your good deeds in the next life. Those you have wronged will be brought before you and your Hasanat could be taken away

As human beings, I am sure each and every one of us has, at some point in our life, been visited by grief, tragedy, or tremendous loss, emotionally or materially. It may have been a serious illness or accident or death of a loved one, or we may have failed an important examination, or we may have seen a business or professional career which has grown and prospered over many years, finally come to disaster. Losing to marry our loved ones etc. To those who have suffered such a loss, their feelings are hard to describe adequately. There is a sense of utter despair, emptiness etc. It can become so intense that one actually questions the whole purpose and meaning of life.  However, many people are unable to come to terms with sudden catastrophic loss, and therefore, we often hear of someone being so overcome with grief that they ha

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF SUPEREROGATORY (Sunnah and Nafl) SALAAT (Prayers)

BismilLah.  Sunnah Salaat are voluntary prayers which were prayed by the Messenger of ALLAH (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), and thus they become his Sunnah for us. If one prays them, he will earn a huge reward from ALLAH Subhaanah; and if one does not pray them, there is no sin but if one intentionally decide I'm not praying them that's sinful because it's the same as rejecting what the messenger encouraged. The most that can be said of one who does not pray the Sunnah prayers is that he loses a great opportunity to earn huge rewards from ALLAH and to perfect his or her obligatory Salaat. The Sunnah or Nawaafil (supererogatory prayers), have been legislated to make up for any deficiencies or unknown errors left in the performance of Fard salaah (obligatory prayers). In Salaah, there are virtues that are

BismilLah.  The Day of Resurrection will be the Day when ALLAH’s attributes of Justice and Mercy will be in full manifestation. ALLAH will shower His mercy on those who strived for HIS sake in the worldly life, believing that eternal bliss was awaiting them. But those who abused the bounties of ALLAH, caring nothing for the life to come, will be in the most miserable state. Drawing a comparison between them, the Quran says: Then is he whom ALLAH have promised a good promise which he will meet [i.e. obtain] like he for whom ALLAH provided enjoyment of worldly life [but] then he is, on the Day of Resurrection, among those presented [for punishment in Hell]?   (Quran, 28:61). The Quran also states that this worldly life is a preparation for the eternal life after death. But those who deny it become slaves of their passions and desires, maki

One who walks on it must have extreme patience.” I asked several brothers and sisters if they know what their mission in life might be. Some said yes. I asked them if they were carrying out their mission. Most said no, and gave these reasons: "I feel that others are more qualified than me. It seems like a fantasy.  It feels like a dream. I tried once and it didn’t go my way. Right now I need to focus on financial security. I’m not ready yet. Does this sound like you? Brothers and sisters, no one is more qualified than you to fulfil the plan that ALLAH has for you! ALLAH’s plan is not a fantasy or a dream. But ALLAH revealed to the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam to tell mankind that: HE, ALLAH is the name of the CREATOR, ALLAH is ONE and ONLY. ALLAH is HE on Whom all depend. THE LIGHT OF THE TRUTH

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis. 16th day of Rajab. (Thursday, 17th Febuary 2022). *_THE LIGHT OF THE TRUTH_*. Bismillah HuMan is a unique creature. ALLAH establishes human as HIS representative or deputy to govern over all other creatures in this world. HE is endowed with the faculty of REASON, which sets him apart from all other animals. Together with this faculty to discriminate and discern, man is given the freedom (free-will) to choose for himself a way of life worthy of his or her position as ALLAH'S representative or to fall lower than the lowest of all animals or creations. Man is born pure and sinless and is given the choice to do righteous deeds or indulge in sins. The Creator, out of HIS abundant Love and Mercy for mankind has not left us in darkness to discover the right path by trial and error alone. Coupled with our intellectual capability to reason, our Creator bestowed upon us DIVINE GUIDANCE that outlines the Criterion for TRUTH, knowledge, as well as

Criteria for Determining What is Right or Wrong in Islam CONTINUES

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Arba'a. 15th day of Rajab. (Wednesday, 16th Febuary 2022). *_Criteria for Determining What is Right or Wrong in Islam CONTINUES_*. BismilLah. The Criterion of Considering the General Welfare: Islam came to secure the welfare of people. Therefore, something that brings about the realization of the general welfare and prevents harm is correct. By contrast, something that results in harm while failing to further the general welfare is clearly wrong. When something furthers the general interest more than it causes harm, it is preferable. Whatever does more harm than good, by contrast, is generally to be rejected.  Scholars has said that when a matter relates to acts of pure worship, good is defined as that which fulfills two criteria: It must be carried out sincerely and exclusively for ALLAH’S sake and it must be in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). When the matter relates to the worldly activities of our daily lives, or

For indeed that is more worthy (so that you will) not belittle Allah's favors upon you.

Narrated Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani (Radi-Allahu 'anhu)

💫 Narrated Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): A man asked the Prophet ﷺ about the picking up of a "Luqata" (fallen lost thing). The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Recognize and remember its tying material and its container, and make public announcement (about it) for one year, then utilize it but give it to its owner if he comes." Then the person asked about the lost camel. On that, the Prophet ﷺ got angry and his cheeks or his Face became red and he said, "You have no concern with it as it has its water container, and its feet and it will reach water, and eat (the leaves) of trees till its owner finds it." The man then asked about the lost sheep. The Prophet ﷺ replied, "It is either for you, for your brother (another person) or for the wolf." Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 91 💫

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about a Door to Paradise.

🌠 Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about a Door to Paradise.  Abu Darda' (RA) heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say that: "The father is the middle door of Paradise (i.e. the best way to Paradise), so it is up to you whether you take advantage of it or not." (Sunan Ibn Majah 3663, Book 33, Hadith 7) Honour your parents, look after them and don’t neglect one while serving another. They have cared for you, loved you and prayed for you. You are the answer to their Duas and a blessing in their life. Appreciate them and take care of your mother and father, for Paradise lies at the feet of your mother and your father is the door to it. Respect their wishes, seek their pleasure and gain their Duas while you can. 🌠

Criteria for Determining What is Right Or Wrong in Islam

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-ithnayn. 13th day of Rajab. (Monday, 14th Febuary 2022). *_Criteria for Determining What is Right Or Wrong in Islam_*. Bismillah.  Does methodologically sound criteria exist for determining what is correct and what is in error in Islam?, They certainly do. Those criteria are clear and precise, and we shall be discussing some of them today be-iznilLah.  One:  The Religious Criterion. This criterion is established upon three sources:  1. The Qur’ân. ALLAH says in the Quran: “Lo! those who disbelieve in the Reminder when it cometh unto them (are guilty), for lo! it is an unassailable Scripture. Falsehood cannot come at it from before it or from behind it. (It is) a revelation from the Wise, the Owner of Praise.” [Sûrah Fussilat: 41-42]. Allahu Akbar.  The Quran is absolutely certain in its authenticity. This is a point upon which all Muslims unanimously agree. As far as what we derive from it of its meanings, this depends on the specific passage and

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT RAJAB

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad. 12th day of Rajab. (Sunday, 13th Febuary 2022). *_WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT RAJAB_* . Bismillah.  Rajab is derived from the word Rajaba meaning "to respect."  This is one of the four sacred months in which fighting was forbidden prior to Islam. It is also known as Rajab al Fard where Fard means alone, because this month comes alone, separated from the other three consecutive sacred months. This month is also deemed to be a prelude to the month of Ramadan, because the month of Ramadan follows it after the intervening month of Sha’baan. Therefore, when the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) sighted the moon of Rajab, he used to pray to ALLAH (SWT) “O Allah, make the month of Rajab and Sha’baan blessed for us and let us reach the month of Ramadan (ie prolong our life upto Ramadan so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings).” There are several events related to this month which have no religious significance associated with them. No specific ways

LEARNING ABOUT THE PROPHET sallallaahu Alaihi wasallam

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum As-Sabt. 11th day of Rajab. (Saturday, 12th Febuary 2022). *_LEARNING ABOUT THE PROPHET sallallaahu Alaihi wasallam_*. BismilLah.  Quick question to refresh our minds: who was Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam? As Muslims, we believe he was the last and final messenger of the CREATOR, ALLAH to mankind. His life is an example for generations after generations until the end of time on how to live in a pure and humble way, with the worship of ALLAH, the Creator as our purpose and pivotal role. The word “sunnah” is used to describe the life and teachings of the Prophet. The sunnah is an ultimate guidance for leading a productive, successful life. Sometimes we neglect the sunnah, however, we find ourselves googling “how to be successful/smart/productive”, while the sunnah of the Prophet has provided us with gems on how to do just that. Better yet, the Prophet said: “Whoever revives my Sunnah then he has loved me. And whoever loved me, he shall

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF LIFE..?

💖🍒WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF LIFE..? ........ They say that a fool lives to eat and a wise man eats to live. But then the question remains: for what purpose does the wise man live? Living is not an end by itself. There has to be a purpose for man to live for. So what is this purpose? Where from?  Where to?  And Why? Any ignorance, however great, could be forgiven except for man to be ignorant about the secret of his existence, his aim in life and what will be his outcome after death. Some thinkers express these questions in simple words: where from? Where to? And why? Meaning: where did I come from? Where am I going? And why am I here? Those who only believe in the material world and who do not believe in a Creator- the atheists- only believe in sensory data. They say that this universe and everything in it came by itself. All its order is simply due to blind coincidence. They say that man is simply like an animal or a plant and that he will exist for a short period and then end like an
