 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 7th day of Sha’abaan, 1444AH (Tuesday 28th February. 2023). *_IS IT PERMISSIBLE TO FAST AFTER 15TH SHAÃBAN?_*. BismilLah.  Our scholars have explained this in detail but in summary, we can conclude from the below hadith. Al-Bukhaari (1914) and Muslim (1082) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAH be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “Do not anticipate Ramadhan by fasting one or two days before it begins, but if a man HABITUALLY FASTS, then let him fast.”  This indicates that fasting after halfway through Sha’baan is permissible for those who have the habit of fasting Mondays and Thursdays and also 13th to 15th of each Islamic month. *_May ALLAH keep guiding us all and increases us in beneficial knowledge_*.  *Shaban Is the Month in Which Deeds are Raised to Allah* On the authority of Osama bin Zeid, he said: “'O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you fasting any month as much as in Shaban.' He said: *'That is a month to which people do not pay much attention, between Rajab and Ramadan. It is a month in which the deeds are taken up to the Lord of the worlds, and I like that my deeds be taken up when I am fasting.'”* [Narrated by An-Nasa'i in Sunnan (2357), Ahmed (36/85) and al-Albani graded it as a Hasan hadeeth in Tammam Al-Minna (412)] The deeds of the year are raised to Allah in Shaban, and the deeds of the week are raised to Allah on Mondays and Thursdays, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: *“The deeds of people are presented every week on two days, Mondays and Thursdays. BismilLah.  Salaah is the most fundamental pillar of Islam; it is the hallmark of faith and the key to paradise. So, no one can exaggerate the importance of salaah in Islam. We read in the Qur'an: "On the Day of Judgment, those in hellfire will be asked, 'Why are you in hell?' they would answer because we were not among those who used to pray, nor were in the habit of feeding the poor. Rather, we were simply indulging with those who used to indulge and we used to deny the Day of Reckoning until death came upon us." (Qur'an 74: 43-47). Therefore, no Muslim can afford to neglect the salaah without risking his salvation. BismilLah.  To repent and seek forgiveness from ALLAH is obligatory at all times, but because of the approach of a great and blessed month of Ramadhan, it is even more important to hasten to repent from sins between you and your Lord, and between you and other people by giving them their rights, so that when the blessed month begins you may busy yourself with acts of worship with a clean heart and peace of mind. Allah says in the Qur'an; “And turn to ALLAH in repentance, all of you,, O believers, that you may be successful.” Qur’an 24:31. BismilLah.  The Arrival of the Sha’baan moon brings with it numerous blessings. Just as a farmer prepares for a fruitful harvest by harrowing his acreage so that the soil may readily retain water; in contrast, our souls are geared by the presence of such blessings in Sha’abaan effectively preparing us for a fruitful and completely advantageous Ramadan.  The month of Sha’abaan is one of the meritorious months in the Islamic calendar and it is reported in an authentic hadith that the Holy Prophet (sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to fast most days in this month. BismilLah.  Sheikh Abu Huraira may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The most beloved places to ALLAH are the masjids, and among the most hated places to ALLAH are the markets. Sahih Muslim 671.  What this hadith means is the fact that when we ignore salaat due to our businesses, then we lose any blessings to our businesses, we lie when seeking and buying in markets etc. This is what is happening today, we will hear the azan or are aware it's time for Salaat, but we will busy ourselves with our jobs or sales. Please note that 2 rakaats of salaat is better than any business or job you are doing, so let's be smart. Shut the shop or seek permission from your job and answer the call to salaat by rushing to the masjid or offering your salaat on time.  Be sincere in your

BismilLah.  ALLAH, may HE be exalted, says: "Indeed, ALLAH loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves" Qur'an 2:222. BismilLaah.  Today we have indeed come to treat the Prayer (Salah) as something insignificant in our lives. Very often we hear some says, "I will start praying when the time comes." Others, especially the younger Muslims, do not find much comfort, and joy in their Prayers. Due to our treatment of Prayer as a burden, due to lack of Islamic knowledge, weak eemaan etc, our love and passion for the Prayer have vanished. Our hearts have become hardened, and we have become depressed and defeated people. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. BismilLah.  Scholars based on QUR'AN and Sunnah ruled that If a sick person is unable to pray standing, he should pray sitting using gestures of the upper part of your body; if he is unable to do that, then he should pray lying on his side. If he is not able to do that, then he should pray in whatever position he is able to. What is required is to do wudoo’ and cleanse himself of impurity; if he is unable to do wudoo’ and no one around to help him or her, he should do tayammum (“dry ablution”); if he is unable to do tayammum or to remove any impurity, he should pray as he is, because ALLAH, may HE be exalted, says (to the nearest meaning): “So fear ALLAH as much as YOU are ABLE” [at-Taghaabun 64:16]. BismilLah.  The most important battle a Muslim needs to fight is the battle within himself against sinful desires (JIHAAD an-nafs). This is a struggle, a jihad in the way of ALLAH, in which all of us need to participate. ALLAH tells us the sinful desires within ourselves must be controlled and submitted to HIS will, and whoever does so will enter Paradise. ALLAH says: وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَىٰ As for him who fears to stand before his Lord and he restrained himself from his desires, then Paradise will be his refuge.  ﷽ ➖➖➖ *THE REALITY OF QIYAMAH* ➖➖➖ *The day everyone would run away from you.* ➖➖➖ Allah ﷻ says  *يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ* _they shall be made to see one another._ *يَوَدُّ الْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِي مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍ بِبَنِيهِ* _the criminal would desire to ransom himself from the punishment of the Day by his children,_ *وَ صَاحِبَتِهِ وَأَخِيهِ* _And his wife and his brother,_ *وَفَصِيلَتِهِ الَّتِى تُـْوِيهِ* _and his Fasilah (kindred) who sheltered him,_ *وَمَن فِى الاٌّرْضِ جَمِيعاً ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ* _And all that which is in the earth, so that it may save him_ [70:11-14] _ This is what the chaos of Qiyamah will bring!  Everybody will be saying Nafsi Nafsi! (Myself myself) _ Not even your father will want you nor your mother! Each will run away from each other and be careless of each other!  _ As Allah ﷻ says  *لِكُلِّ امْرِىءٍ مِّنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ شَأْنٌ يُغْنِيهِ* _Every man that Day will have enough to make him careless of others_ [80:37] _ No ransom will be accepted from him eve
