DO Muslims Worship Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) AS OTHERS DID TO PREVIOUS PROPHETS?”

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 6th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani 1444AH (Monday 31st October. 2022). *_DO Muslims Worship Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) AS OTHERS DID TO PREVIOUS PROPHETS?”_*. BismilLah.  Yet another misconception is that Muslims worship the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This is entirely untrue, and is easily refuted by the actual saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him): “Do not over-praise me as the Christians over-praised Jesus peace be upon him, the son of Mary. I am a Servant to the Creator,  ALLAH, so refer to me as ‘God’s slave or servant and a Messenger. That's exactly what all Prophets said to their people.  Worshipping God alone is the basis of Islamic teachings, as mentioned in the Qur’an in numerous places:  “And worship ALLAH and do not join anyone with HIM in worship.”Qur’an 4:36. Islam teaches Muslims to respect all of God’s Prophets and Messengers - but respecting and loving them does not mean worshippin...

LET'S STRIVE TO BE GOOD TO OTHERS

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum , 4th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani 1444AH (Saturday 29th October. 2022). *_LET'S STRIVE TO BE GOOD TO OTHERS_*. BismilLah. Imam Abu Huraira may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Charity is due upon every joint of the people for every day upon which the sun rises. Being just between two people is charity. Helping a man with his animal and lifting his luggage upon it is charity. A kind word is charity. Every step that you take towards the mosque is charity, and removing harmful things from the road is charity. Sahih Bukhari 2827, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. One of Our mother's of believers Aaisha may ALLAH be pleased with her reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, heard the loud voices of two men in a dispute at a door. One was asking the other to lessen his debt and was pleading with him to show leniency, and the other said, “By ALLAH, I will not do that!” Th...

Men who see marrying their wives as a favour do not do well in marriage.

Men who see marrying their wives as a favour do not do well in marriage. Husbands that see their wives as liabilities, do not have the knowledge of marital relationship. They will find it difficult to respect their wives, after all they married them out of pity, 'let me just help your ministry'.  Your complaint about sincere Muslim sisters is unfounded, you are not confident of yourself, when you talk like a person that tolerates poverty, you preach Islam as if poverty is one of its pillars, yet you want a sister to marry you. Look at the two scenarios; Brother A, lives in one room in Ajegunle, he proposes to a sister, 'Assalam Alaykum sister Rasheedah, I want to marry you, I am a teacher, and I pray Allah expand my source of income, I have written application letters to many organizations, infact, I did one interview last week, I pray they pick me, I also do online business, I stay in one room for now, in Sha Allah, I know we deserve a better accommodation when we get mar...

LETS AVOID WASTING OUR TIME

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 3rd day of Rabeeu ath-thaani 1444AH (Friday 28th October. 2022). *_LETS AVOID WASTING OUR TIME_*. BismilLah.  The Prophet, peace be upon him, warned us, "Man shall not be let go or discharged on the Day of Judgement until he has been questioned about FOUR things: 1. With regard to his life, how did he spend it? 2. With regard to his youth, in what ways did he expend it? 3. With regard to his Wealth: where did he earn it from, and what did he spend it on? 4. With regard to his knowledge, what use did he put it to?"(Al-Bazzar and At-Tabarani). These are only a few just not to prolong the reminder. Let's be mindful as the grave is waiting for each of us. It could be you or me tomorrow. Please remember today is Friday.  *_May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protects us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

ACCEPTED DUA(SUPPLICATION)

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 2nd day of Rabeeu ath-thaani 1444AH (Thursday 27th October. 2022). *_ACCEPTED DUA(SUPPLICATION)_*. BismilLah.  In Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 27, Hadith 11, Abu Harairah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of ALLAH (peace be upon him) said: "Three supplications are accepted, there is no doubt in them (about them being accepted): The supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of parents on children." ALLAHU AKBAR.  This is a beautiful hadith on hope, reflection and patience. Hope for the oppressed, reflection for the traveller, and a warning to exhibit patience with our children.  *_May ALLAH keep guiding us all and accept our supplication_*. Aameen.

An hadith to reflect.

An hadith to reflect. Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, 'Nations were displayed before me; one or two prophets would pass by along with a few followers. A prophet would pass by accompanied by nobody. Then a big crowd of people passed in front of me and I asked, Who are they Are they my followers?" It was said, 'No. It is Moses and his followers It was said to me, 'Look at the horizon.'' Behold! There was a multitude of people filling the horizon. Then it was said to me, 'Look there and there about the stretching sky! Behold! There was a multitude filling the horizon,' It was said to me, 'This is your nation out of whom seventy thousand shall enter Paradise without reckoning.' "Then the Prophet (ﷺ) entered his house without telling his companions who they (the 70,000) were. So the people started talking about the issue and said, "It is we who have believed in Allah and followed His Apostle; therefore those people are...

The danger of riba(interest) and selling things more than their price(inflation of goods)

The danger of riba(interest) and selling things more than their price(inflation of goods) Alhamdulillah, Islam is a religion of just and fairness and it is haraam to cheat or deceive peoples in Islam. As narrated in hadith, Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) came to Medina and the people used to pay in advance the prices of fruits to be delivered within two to three years. The Prophet (ﷺ) said (to them), "Buy fruits by paying their prices in advance on condition that the fruits are to be delivered to you according to a fixed specified measure within a fixed specified period." Ibn Najih said, " ... by specified measure and specified weight." Sahih al-Bukhari 2253. Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace'be upon him) as saying: Do not go out to meet riders to enter into transaction with them; none of you must buy in opposition to another, nor must you bid against one another; a townsman must not sell for a man from the desert, and do not tie up ud...

Selling of the deen for dunya.

Selling of the deen for dunya. It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed: Be prompt in doing good deeds (before you are overtaken) by turbulence which would be like a part of the dark night. During (that stormy period) a man would be a Muslim in the morning and an unbeliever in the evening or he would be a believer in the evening and an unbeliever in the morning, and would sell his faith for worldly goods. Sahih Muslim 118 Narrated AbuMusa al-Ash'ari: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Before the Last Hour there will be commotions like pieces of a dark night in which a man will be a believer in the morning and an infidel in the evening, or a believer in the evening and infidel in the morning. He who sits during them will be better than he who gets up and he who walks during them is better than he who runs. So break your bows, cut your bowstrings and strike your swords on stones. If people then come in to one of you, let him be like the b...

BE POSITIVE ALL THE TIME AND AVOID ANYTHING THAT DOES NOT CONCERN YOU OR CAN BENEFIT YOU OR OTHERS

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 1st day of Rabeeu ath-thaani 1444AH (Wednesday 26th October. 2022). *_BE POSITIVE ALL THE TIME AND AVOID ANYTHING THAT DOES NOT CONCERN YOU OR CAN BENEFIT YOU OR OTHERS_*. BismilLah. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam encouraged us to think positive all the time about anything or any issue. Alway remember that nothing can happen without the permission of ALLAH so whatever happens to you positively or negatively please be patient and always remember the above statement from ALLAH and HIS Messenger. We have a duty to take care of our worldly affairs, meet our work obligations, pay our bills, fulfill our trusts, and so on. If we do things right then we must always be positive regardless of how negative it looks like because behing every difficulty is ease as ALLAH says so lets not loose hope and utter words or phrase that can worsen the situation.  On issues of Islam please do not speak ill about any issue concerni...

WHAT WILL YOUR EXCUSE BE TOMORROW BEFORE ALLAH?

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 29th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1444AH (Tuesday 25th October. 2022). *_WHAT WILL YOUR EXCUSE BE TOMORROW BEFORE ALLAH?_* Bismillah.  ALLAH has commanded us to adhere firmly to His religion, as He says: “Hold firmly to that which ALLAH has given you” [al-Baqarah 2:63]. Religion is a serious matter that distinguishes truth from falsehood, it is not a thing for amusement [Quran 86:13]. Many people do not take the matters of their religion seriously, and they offer feeble excuses. This is one of the signs of the Munaafiquun (hypocrites), who take their religion for mockery and fun [Quran 5:57], and when they are rebuked or advice is offered to them, they come up with excuses which in fact are worse than the sin for which they are offering these excuses. Thus people come up with excuses one after another, for major and minor sins alike, in a failed attempt to avoid feeling guilty and avoid the advice of sincere people. Let's fear death an...

MAKING SUNNAH WITH HER DURING HER MENSTRUATION PERIOD IS HARAAM

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 26th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1444AH (Saturday 22nd October. 2022). *_MAKING SUNNAH WITH HER DURING HER MENSTRUATION PERIOD IS HARAAM_*. *BismilLaah*.  ALLAH has forbidden men to have intercourse with their wives at the time of menstruation.  The Qur’aan clearly stated the reason for this prohibition, which is that menstruation is adha (a harmful thing). ALLAH says:  “They ask you concerning menstruation. Say: that is an Adha (a harmful thing for a husband to have a sexual intercourse with his wife while she is having her menses), therefore, keep away from women during menses” [al-Baqarah 2:222]. Scientific studies in this field have disclosed to us some of the harm that is referred to in this verse, but they have not managed to describe all the harms that are referred to in the Qur’aanic text. As Muslims Qur'an and Sunnah is more than enough for us to adhere and practice.  The penetration of the manhood into the womanhood...
