Self Evaluation* [[-- Parr Two --]]

*Self Evaluation* [[-- Parr Two --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم My dear brother and sister, please stop and listen to me. The world is shouting at you every single day. It says, "Do whatever feels right." It says, "You only live once, so enjoy your life to the fullest." Do not be fooled. These words are not your friends. They are traps. They are the whispers of the devil, wrapped in pretty paper. My People, We are not here to worship our feelings. We are here to worship Allah (swt). Think of your desires like a wild, hungry lion. If you let it loose without a chain, it will not play with you. It will attack you. It will eat you alive. This is why we must put a strong leash on our desires. The leash is Islam. We must pull it back. We must control our haram desires. We must never let it control us. Listen to what Allah (swt) says in the Qur'an: "But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] desires, t...

PRAYING AT HOME DURING HEAVY RAIN

FAJR REMINDER: PRAYING AT HOME DURING HEAVY RAIN By: Umm Affān Muḥarram 4, 1448 (19-June-2026) It is well established that performing the five daily prayers in congregation at the Masjid is obligatory upon every man who is able to do so, according to the stronger scholarly opinion. Nevertheless, the Sharī‘ah, in its mercy and wisdom, recognizes certain legitimate excuses that exempt a person from attending the congregation. Among these valid excuses is rainfall that causes significant hardship, such as soaking one's clothes. The concession applies when heavy rain causes genuine harm or difficulty, whether by drenching one's clothing, exposing one to severe cold, or making the pathways muddy and hazardous. In such circumstances, a Muslim is permitted to perform the prayer at home instead of attending the Masjid. Ibn ‘Umar reported: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) used to order the caller to say on a cold, rainy night, “Alā ṣallū fī ar-riḥāl (Surely, pray in your homes).” [Ṣaḥīḥ ...

TAFSEER OF QUR'AN 81, Suurah At-Takwīr

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaumul Jumuat | 4th day of Muharram, 1448 AH | Friday, 19th June, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF QUR'AN 81, Suurah At-Takwīr (The Overthrowing) continues_*. BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week. Let's continue with our studies of suurah At-Takwīr. Verse 8 وَإِذَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ "And when the girl who was buried alive is asked." Before Islam, some Arabs buried baby girls alive out of shame or fear of poverty. ALLAH Azzawajal honours these innocent victims by publicly questioning them. Verse 9 بِأَيِّ ذَنبٍ قُتِلَتْ "For what sin was she killed?" The question is not for information but to expose the criminality of the oppressors. The child committed no crime. Never wrong another person. Fear ALLAH Azzawajal regarding the weak and vulnerable. ALLAH’S justice is perfect and complete. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH.  To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH.  *_We ask A...

SINCERITY IS THE THIRD

FAJR REMINDER: SINCERITY IS THE THIRD By: Umm Affān Muḥarram 3, 1448 (18-June-2026) The next condition of Lā ilāha ill-Allāh is Ikhlāṣ (Sincerity). Sincerity is the foundation upon which the testimony of faith stands. It requires that every act of worship be performed solely for the Sake of Allāh, free from any trace of showing off, hypocrisy, or associating partners with Him. A believer must purify both his intentions and actions, directing them exclusively to Allāh. As Allāh (ﷻ) says: “So worship Allāh (Alone) by doing religious deeds sincerely for Allāh's Sake only, (and not to show off, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship). Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allāh only.” [Sūrah Az-Zumar (39): 2-3] True sincerity demands complete reliance upon Allāh (Alone). Therefore, a Muslim should never resort to magical powders in pursuit of knowledge, sprinkle enchanted water in a shop to attract customers, or consume Shirk-laced concoctions in searc...

TAFSEER OF QUR'AN 81. Suurah At-Takwīr (The Overthrowing) continues

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaum Al-khamis | 3rd day of Muharram, 1448 AH | Thursday, 18th June, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF QUR'AN 81. Suurah At-Takwīr (The Overthrowing) continues_*. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah At-Takwīr. Verse 5 وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ "And when the wild beasts are gathered together." Animals that normally flee from one another will be gathered by ALLAH Azzawajal. This demonstrates the magnitude of that Day when every creature will be brought before its Creator. Verse 6 وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ "And when the seas are set ablaze (or overflow)." The oceans, which cover most of the earth, will undergo dramatic changes. Classical scholars explained this as the seas overflowing, while others mentioned they will be ignited by ALLAH'S command. This is another sign of the complete transformation of the universe. Verse 7 وَإِذَا النُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ "And when the souls are paired." People will be grouped acco...

Self Evaluation* [[-- Parr One --]]

*Self Evaluation* [[-- Parr One --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم My dear brother and sister, please listen. Think of this life like a big exam hall. We are all sitting for a test. But the results? They will not be given to us until the Day of Judgement. My People, Allah (swt) has given us a special organ in our body that decides if we pass or fail. This organ is the heart. Yes. It is the most important part of us. This heart is what we use to sin in private. It is the organ that whispers to us when we are alone. It tells us, "No one is watching. Go ahead. Do it." Actually, It is easy to be a good person in front of others. We pray, we give charity, we speak kindly. People see us and think, "Masha'Allah, what a good Muslim." But how are we when we are alone? If we are two different people—good in public, but a sinner in private—then our heart is sick. This sickness grows every time we sin when no one is looking. It becomes a disease that is hard to...

TAFSEER OF QUR'AN 81. Suurah At-Takwīr (The Overthrowing) continues

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaum Arba'a | 2nd day of Muharram, 1448 AH | Wednesday, 17th June, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF QUR'AN 81. Suurah At-Takwīr (The Overthrowing) continues_*. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah At-Takwīr from Mondays reminder.  Verse 2 وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انكَدَرَتْ "And when the stars fall, losing their light." The stars that beautify the night sky and guide travelers will lose their brightness and scatter. The orderly universe that we know today will collapse as ALLAH Azzawajal prepares creation for the Final Judgment. This verse reminds us that the stability of the universe exists only because ALLAH Azzawajal maintains it. Verse 3 وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ "And when the mountains are set in motion." Mountains symbolize strength, permanence, and stability. Yet on the Day of Judgment they will be uprooted, moved, crushed, and turned into dust. If mountains cannot withstand ALLAH'S command, how can human beings rely...

CERTAINTY IS THE SECOND

FAJR REMINDER: CERTAINTY IS THE SECOND By: Umm Affān Muḥarram 2, 1448 (17-June-2026) Undoubtedly, the foundation of true faith is to firmly believe that none has the right to be worshipped except Allāh. A person cannot truly claim this belief unless he is convinced that the only path to Jannah and the Pleasure of Allāh is Islām—the complete submission to the Will of Allāh. Unfortunately, some who identify as Muslims have allowed doubt to creep into their hearts regarding this fundamental principle. They believe that those who die upon religions other than Islām—submitting themselves to someone or something besides Allāh Alone—may still attain Jannah or earn the Pleasure of Allāh. Such a belief directly contradicts the clear teachings of Islām. Allāh (ﷻ) says: “And whoever seeks a religion other than Islām, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter, he will be among the losers.” [Sūrah Aal-‘Imrān (3): 85] The second condition of Lā ilāha ill-Allāh is Certainty (يقين). ...

MUHARRAM: A NEW BEGINNING WITH ALLAH AZZAWAJAL

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaum Athalaatha | 1st day of Muharram, 1448 AH | Tuesday, 16th June, 2026.  *_MUHARRAM: A NEW BEGINNING WITH ALLAH AZZAWAJAL_*. BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah, today marks the 1st of Muharram, the beginning of a new Islamic year. Let's pause our Qur’an studies today to welcome Muharram.  Muharram is one of the four sacred months that ALLAH Azzawajal has specially honoured. ALLAH Azzawajal says: "Indeed, the number of months with ALLAH is twelve months... of these, four are sacred." (Qur'an 9:36). Muharram is a month rich in history and lessons. The Islamic calendar begins with the Hijrah (migration) of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions from Makkah to Madinah. Although the actual migration did not occur in Muharram, the companions later chose Muharram as the first month of the Islamic calendar because it marked a new chapter for Islam, one of faith, sacrifice, hope, and victory. Muharram also reminds us of the great event of Prop...

Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 6 --]]

*Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 6 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Our parents (living or dead) have done for us what we can never be able to pay them back. Yes. For many of us who have children can testify to this. The sleepless night we caused them, the sacrifices they made to ensuring that we are who we are today. How many of us have done this for our Parents? (1) Many children today can afford jacking out 100K to funding the digging of a local well for communities in desperate need of water and say - "Ya Allah! I ask that the rewards of this ongoing charity should go to my parents". (2) Some children today can even afford funding the sinking of borehole for communities in desperate need of water and say - "Ya Allah! I ask that the rewards of this ongoing charity should go to my parents". Are we actually fair to our parents? Or we think the Du'a we make for them is okay and they don't need more? Maybe we don't want Allah (swt) to make ou...

FOUR SOURCES OF HAPPINESS AND MISERY

FAJR REMINDER: FOUR SOURCES OF HAPPINESS AND MISERY  By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 29, 1447 (15-June-2026) Alḥamdulillāh for the blessing of Islām—a complete way of life that guides us toward everything beneficial and warns us against everything harmful. Sa’d Ibn Abī Waqqās reported: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said, “Four things are part of happiness: a righteous spouse, a spacious dwelling, a righteous neighbor, and a comfortable mount. Four things are part of misery: a bad neighbor, a bad spouse, a restrictive dwelling, and a bad mount.” [Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān 4032] In another narration, Nāfi’ Ibn ‘Abdul Ḥārith reported: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said, “It is part of a man’s happiness to have a righteous neighbor, a comfortable mount, and a spacious dwelling.” [Musnad Aḥmad 15372]  A Righteous Spouse vs. A Bad Spouse: A righteous spouse is among the greatest blessings Allāh can grant a servant. Such a spouse assists in obedience to Allāh, protects the family’s dignity,...

TAFSEER OF QUR'AN 81. Suurah At-Takwīr (The Overthrowing)

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaum Al-ithnayn | 29th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Monday, 15th June, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF QUR'AN 81. Suurah At-Takwīr (The Overthrowing)_*. BismilLah.  This suurah was revealed to: Remind mankind of the certainty of the Day of Judgment. It describes the terrifying events that will occur when the universe comes to an end. It also defend the truthfulness of the Prophet ﷺ and the authenticity of the Qur'an. The suurah shows how vividly the events of the Last Day will be unfolding. Let's start our studies of suurah.  Verse 1. إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ "When the sun is wrapped up (and its light is folded away)." The word "Kuwwirat" comes from the Arabic verb meaning to wrap or roll up, like wrapping a turban around the head. ALLAH Azzawajal begins by describing the collapse of the greatest source of light and energy known to humanity. On the Day of Judgment, the sun will lose its brightness and be folded up according to ALLAH'...

HAVING THE TAQWĀ OF ALLĀH!

FAJR REMINDER: HAVING THE TAQWĀ OF ALLĀH! By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 28, 1447 (14-June-2026) Dear brethren! Let us fear Allāh and recognize that He alone deserves our utmost fear above everything else that people may fear. Allāh (ﷻ) says: “O you who believe! Have Taqwā of Allāh as is His Due (i.e. fear Allāh as He should be feared).” [Sūrah Aal-‘Imrān (3): 102) In this verse, Allāh addresses the believers and then commands them to fear Him. This indicates that there is a distinction between Eemān (Faith) and Taqwā (Fear of Allāh). A person may possess the correct belief, such as knowing that Allāh is fully aware of all his actions, yet fail to fear Him by engaging in major sins like lying, stealing, or fornication. Therefore, in addition to having faith, a believer must also cultivate a genuine fear of Allāh. Furthermore, we should understand that Taqwā is the foundation of true wisdom. What wisdom is there in neglecting the Commands of Allāh and indulging in what He has prohibit...

SALAAH IS OUR ROADMAP TO SUCCESS IN THIS LIFE AND THE NEXT

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaumul ahad | 28th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Sunday, 14th June, 2026. *_SALAAH IS OUR ROADMAP TO SUCCESS IN THIS LIFE AND THE NEXT_*. BismilLah.  Let's pause on our studies of the Qur’an to remind ourselves that the five daily prayers are not merely acts of worship; they are a complete roadmap for a successful life in this world and a guide to attaining Jannah in the Hereafter. Through salaah, we strengthen our connection with ALLAH Azzawajal, seek HIS guidance, and find peace and discipline in our daily lives. Let's not allow any of the world Cup match to delay our salaat or to even miss jamaat salaat.  ALLAH says in the Qur’an: "Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of ALLAH is greater." (Qur'an 29:45). ALLAH also says: "Successful indeed are the believers: those who are humble in their prayers."(Qur'an 23:1-2). The Prophet ﷺ said: "The first matter that the slave will be brough...

Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 5 --]]

*Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 5 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Allah (swt) does not look at how much you give. He looks at why you give. A single drop of water or sadaqah to the orphans or masjid or religious propagation. Given with a sincere heart. That can bring you more blessings than a mountain of gold given without care or sincere intentions. Why? Because Allah (swt) judges you by your intention. So even if all you have is one cup of water… if you give it for Allah's sake, He will pour out His mercy on you like rain. My people, listen closely. Giving water does more than quench thirst. It can cure sickness. It can cool a burning heart. And yes—it can be your road to Paradise. Yes! How can Allah (swt) not reward someone who shows mercy to His servants? How can He forget the one who sees a thirsty, hungry or needy person and says, "Here, take"? Never think this is a small deed. In Allah's eyes, it is enormous. My People, Maybe you cannot build a w...

Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 4 --]]

*Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 4 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم The Prophet (pbuh), said, “A prostitute had once been forgiven. She passed by a dog panting near a well. Thirst had nearly killed him, so she took off her sock, tied it to her veil, and drew up some water. Allah (swt) forgave her for that.” 📚 Authentic hadith Imagine this: A woman. A dog. A well. That woman had a life full of mistakes. Big ones. But Allah saw one moment. Just one. She saw a dog, dying of thirst. Not a human. Just a tired, thirsty dog. She took off her sock. Tied it to her veil. Pulled up water. And Allah forgave everything. My People, If Allah (swt) can erase a lifetime of sins for giving water to a dog… what do you think Allah will do for you when you give water to His thirsty human servants? This is not a small deed. This is a life-changer. The Prophet (pbuh) told us this story to wake us up. He wanted us to know: Water saves. On the Day of Judgment—when we are sweating, shaking, te...

TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) continues

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaum As-sabt | 27th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Saturday, 13th June, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) continues_*. BismilLah. Let's conclude on our studies of suurah Al-Infitar. Final verse 19 يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا ۖ وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ "It is the Day when no soul will possess any power to help another soul in any way, and the command on that Day belongs entirely to ALLAH." Commentary: This final verse of Surah Al-Infitar explains the true reality of the Day of Judgment after ALLAH Azzawajal twice asked: "And what can make you know what the Day of Recompense is?" (82:17-18) The answer is: "It is the Day when no soul will possess any power to help another soul..." On that Day: No parent can save a child. No child can save a parent. No spouse can save a spouse. No friend can save a friend. No king can help his subjects. No wealthy person can buy his freedom. No worldly statu...

HER PURSUIT OF KNOWLEDGE

FAJR REMINDER: HER PURSUIT OF KNOWLEDGE By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 27, 1447 (13-June-2026) After our beloved mother, Sawdah Bint Zam’ah Ibn Qays (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha), graciously gave up her allotted night to Ā’ishah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha) to remain among the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ), she continued to enjoy his companionship, benefit from his teachings, and follow his noble example. Dear sisters, how much importance do you attach to seeking knowledge of the Dīn? What sacrifices are you willing to make to learn and practice Islām? Do you struggle to memorize portions of the Qur’ān, learn Aḥādīth, or attend gatherings of knowledge? It is important to remember that the greatness of the Muslim Ummah was built upon the sacrifices, perseverance, and dedication of the noble companions of the Prophet (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhum). Through their efforts, hardships, and unwavering commitment, the tree of Islām flourished, and today we continue to enjoy its fruits. Sadly, many of us have become less enth...

Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 3 --]]

*Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 3 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), reportedly instructed us: "Heal your sick with sadaqah” 📚(Abu Dawud and others). This reminds me, Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah, a prominent and wealthy companion of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), once became seriously ill. The illness was severe and persistent. His mother was deeply distressed. While at his bedside, she made a vow (a Nadhr). She promised that if Allah cured her son, she would donate a large number of date-filled purses (a significant amount of wealth) specifically to provide water for the pilgrims in Mecca. By the grace of Allah (swt), Sa'd recovered from his illness. Sa'd mother, true to her word, took action. She had a large water cistern (a Saqiyah) built in Mecca and dedicated it to providing free, cool water to the thousands of pilgrims performing Hajj and Umrah, who often suffered from the intense desert heat. When the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) lear...

TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) continues

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaumul Jumuat | 26th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Friday, 12th June, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) continues_*. BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week. Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Infitar. Verses 17 - 18. وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ "And what can make you know what the Day of Recompense is?" ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ "Then again, what can make you know what the Day of Recompense is?" After describing the fate of the righteous and the wicked from verses 15 and 16, ALLAH Azzawajal draws attention to the greatness and seriousness of the Day of Judgment. It is as though ALLAH Azzawajal is saying: "The reality of the Day of Judgment is far greater and more terrifying than you can imagine." ALLAH Azzawajal then repeats the same question a second time for emphasis. In Arabic, repetition is used to magnify the imp...

THE KHUTBAH AND ITS CONDITIONS (II)

FAJR REMINDER: THE KHUTBAH AND ITS CONDITIONS (II) By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 26, 1447 (12-June-2026) Continuing from the previous discussion on the Khutbah and its conditions, the Khatīb should be in a state of purity, free from both minor and major impurities. He should also wear his best clothing, greet the congregation with Salām, and deliver the Khutbah from the Minbar. Furthermore, he should face the people while speaking and sincerely exhort and remind them using clear, eloquent, and beneficial words. The Khutbah should be concise and not excessively lengthy, and it should be delivered in two parts. It is also important for the Khatīb to take into account the condition and level of understanding of his audience when deciding what the Khutbah should contain. Al-Bukhārī reported: Alī Ibn Abī Ṭālib (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) said, “Speak to people only according to their level of knowledge. Would you like for Allāh and His Messenger to be denied?” [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 127] Imām...

BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Infitar. Verse 16. وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ "And they will never be absent from it." This verse continues the description of the fate of the wicked (Al-Fujjār) mentioned in the previous verses: وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ "Indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire." (82:14) يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ "They will enter and burn therein on the Day of Recompense." (82:15) وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ "And they will never be absent from it." (82:16) ALLAH Azzawajal emphasizes that the punishment of the disbelievers in Hell will not be interrupted, suspended, or escaped. They will not be absent from it even for a moment. The wording removes any hope that they might: Leave Hell temporarily. Escape from it. Be relieved...

RECAP OF THE LESSONS

FAJR REMINDER: RECAP OF THE LESSONS  By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 25, 1447 (11-June-2026) When we reflect on the numerous trials endured by Prophet Ibrāhīm (‘Alayhi Salām), it becomes clear that very few, if any, among us could withstand such tests with the same level of faith, patience, and submission. For this reason, a believer should never become overly confident in his Eemān (Faith) and ask Allāh to put him through trials. Rather, we should seek His Protection, Well-being, and abundant Blessings. Abū Bakr reported: The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said, “You are not given anything after the sincere word of faith like wellness, so ask Allāh for wellness.” [Musnad Aḥmad 10] However, despite our desire for safety and ease, trials are an unavoidable part of life. Allāh (ﷺ) says: “And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to Aṣ-Ṣābirīn (the patient ones, etc.).” [Sūrah Al-Baqarah (2): 155] In the face of...

FOLLOWING HIS FOOTSTEPS

FAJR REMINDER: FOLLOWING HIS FOOTSTEPS  By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 24, 1447 (10-June-2026) All praise is due to Allāh, Who sent His Prophets and Messengers with guidance and the religion of truth (Islām), and made it prevail over all other acclaimed religions, even though the disbelievers detest it. About Ḥajj, it is evident that this noble act of worship was prescribed long before the advent of Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ). Throughout the ages, pilgrims from every corner of the world and from all walks of life have journeyed to the Sacred House, seeking the Pleasure of Allāh, the Most High. In doing so, they follow the blessed path of Prophet Ibrāhīm and his patient and forbearing son, Ismā‘īl (‘Alayhimā Salām). Among the many profound lessons we learn from Prophet Ibrāhīm (‘Alayhi Salām) is the virtue of Ikhlāṣ (sincerity). He devoted his worship solely to Allāh, seeking none but His Pleasure. Likewise, anyone intending to perform Ḥajj must ensure that this great act of worship is...

Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 2 --]]

*Lifetime Chance* [[-- Episode 2 --]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم As Muslims, do not think that only swalah, fasting matter. Yes. For those who read the story of Abu Nasr in our previous episode of the write-up, we have seen that Abu Nasr was a very poor man who gave away his only bread to a hungry child. And he dreamt that it was that one small piece of bread that tipped his scale on the day of judgment. This teaches us that no good deed is ever too small. Never ignore a chance to help, even if it is you think it will push you to discomfort. My People, Always strive to be generous, even when you have almost nothing. Abu Nasr was so poor he could not feed his own family, yet when he saw a crying mother and child, he did not turn away. He gave them his only food. This difficult choice to be kind instead of selfish brought him a huge blessings. The lesson here is simple: when you give for the sake of Allah, even when it hurts, Allah never forgets. That one hard choice ...

BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Infitar. Verse 15. يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ "They will enter and burn therein on the Day of Recompense (Judgment)." Commentary: After stating that the wicked (Al-Fujjār) will be in Hellfire, ALLAH Azzawajal explains when this punishment will occur: يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ "They will enter and burn therein on the Day of Recompense." The word يَصْلَوْنَهَا (Yaṣlawnahā) means: They will enter it. They will be exposed to its intense heat. They will suffer its punishment. This is not a temporary encounter but a real punishment for those who rejected ALLAH’S guidance and died upon disbelief and rebellion. Meaning of "Yawm Ad-Dīn" (Day of Recompense) The word Ad-Dīn here means: Recompense. Accountability, Judgment, Settlement of d...

Only people who are seriously thirsty and have no access to drinking water can tell how it feels. Sure! Not all of us can afford building wells or boreholes for entire communities – but how many of us take it as a point of duty to buy a bottle of water or a bag of sachet water, give it out to people as sadaqag? The rewards of giving water are multiplied even further when it's given to someone who desperately needs it. In fact, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) was asked, "Which charity is best?" He replied, "[Providing] water"'. 📚[Abu Dawud] Muslim Faithful, Little things we ignore can actually skyrocket our chances of entering paradise with ease. Allah's Question

*Allah's Question* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Allah (swt) asks a powerful question in the Quran: أَمَّنۡ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيۡلِ سَاجِدࣰا وَقَآئِمࣰا يَحۡذَرُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ وَيَرۡجُواْ رَحۡمَةَ رَبِّهِۦۗ "Is the one who prays in the dark of the night, bowing and prostrating, who fears the Hereafter and hopes for his Lord's mercy, is that person like the one who does not?..." 📚(Quran 39:9) The answer is clear: No! They are not the same! Allah (swt) knows how hard it is. HE knows the war you have with your bed. HE sees you fighting your tired body and your sleepy eyes, all just to worship HIM. This is why Allah HIMSELF praises the people of Tahajjud. He says they are never, ever like those who squandered the entire night sleeping. My People, The good news is that, when you pray Tahajjud, you are not an ordinary worshipper before Allah (swt). Yes. You are in the special list of Allah. You are doing something that makes you stand out. To end this r...

This will Save you

This will Save you ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم My dear brother and dear sister. Listen to me very carefully. This is serious. More serious than you think. Allah (swt) is the Most Merciful. He forgives many sins. If you miss a prayer, He can forgive you. If you lie to Him, He can forgive you. Sins between you and Allah—He may forgive if He wills. But there is one kind of sin Allah does NOT forgive. Not without your victim's forgiveness first. What sin? Sins against other people. The rights of His creatures. My People, You see your tongue? Hmmnn.... Never allowed it to your own fire. Backbiting (Gheebah): Is saying something about a brother or sister in their absence that they would hate to hear. Even if it is true. Slander (Buhtan): Is saying something bad about them that is not true. This is even worse. Gossip: Is spreading talk that hurts their honor. These sins? Allah (swt) will NOT delete them. Not unless the person you hurt forgives you first. Now, Think of your...

TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) continues

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaum Athalaatha | 23rd day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Tuesday, 9th June, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) continues_*. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Infitar. Verse 14. وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ "And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire." After mentioning the reward of the righteous in verse 13, ALLAH Azzawajal immediately mentions the fate of the opposite group: وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ "And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire." This contrast between the righteous and the wicked is a common style in the Qur'an. By mentioning both reward and punishment, ALLAH Azzawajal balances hope and fear in the hearts of believers. Meaning of "Al-Fujjār" (الفُجَّار) The word Fujjār is the plural of Fājir (فاجر), which refers to a person who habitually disobeys ALLAH and openly transgresses HIS limits. The root word Fajara means "to burst forth" or "break th...

Commentary (Tafseer):  After mentioning the recording angels and the certainty that every deed is being preserved, ALLAH Azzawajal now explains the outcome of that accountability. The first group mentioned is the Abrār (الأبرار), the righteous, pious, and obedient servants of ALLAH Azzawajal. The word "Abrār" comes from Al-Birr (البِرّ), which means righteousness, goodness, obedience, truthfulness, and excellence in dealing with ALLAH and HIS creation. These are the people who: Believe in ALLAH sincerely, Follow the teachings of the Prophets, Fulfill their obligations, Avoid major sins, Repent when they fall into mistakes, Show kindness and good character...

ITS LOCATION AND PURPOSE

FAJR REMINDER: ITS LOCATION AND PURPOSE By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 22, 1447 (8-June-2026) The Ka’bah stands at the heart of Makkah and is regarded as the most sacred site in Islām. It is the Qiblah toward which Muslims across the world direct their faces and hearts in worship. Five times every day, believers turn toward it in humble devotion as they perform their Ṣalāt, seeking the Pleasure of Allāh Alone. Every year, Muslims travel from different parts of the globe to visit the Ka’bah, performing Ṭawāf and fulfilling the rites of ‘Umrah and Ḥajj. The significance of this blessed House is highlighted in the Statement of Allāh (ﷻ): “In it are manifest signs (for example), the Maqām (place) of Ibrāhīm; whosoever enters it, he attains security. And Ḥajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka'bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allāh, those who can afford the expenses (for one's conveyance, provision, and residence); and whoever disbelieves [i.e. denies Ḥajj (pilgrimage to Makka...

Fire on Ur Tongue

Fire on Ur Tongue ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Listen carefully, my brother, my sister. Your good deeds are like a beautiful garden. Every prayer, every charity, every kind act is a strong, healthy tree in that garden. But there is a fire that can burn your whole garden to ashes in seconds. That fire is your tongue. Yes! When you speak about a Muslim in their absence—in a way they would hate—you dig a grave. Yes. You dig a grave for your own good deeds. You then, throw your beautiful deeds into that grave and burn them. It burns fast, like fire burns dry leaves. It does not matter if what you said is true. If they would be hurt to hear it, it is backbiting (Gheebah). It is a grave sin. If what you said is not true, it is even worse. It is slander (Buhtan). This is a major, major sin. It is like a cancer in our community today. Think about this disease in our time: You see a brother and sister somewhere. Your heart says, "They have done a bad thing." You then sa...

TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) WITH CONTEXT / HISTORICAL BACKGROUND continues

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaumul Ahad | 21st day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Sunday, 7th June, 2026.  *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) WITH CONTEXT / HISTORICAL BACKGROUND continues_*. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Infitar. Verse 12. يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ "They know whatever you do." Commentary (Tafseer): This verse completes ALLAH'S description of the recording angels: وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ "Indeed, over you are guardians." (82:10) كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ "Noble scribes." (82:11) يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ "They know whatever you do." (82:12) The meaning is that these angels are fully aware of the deeds ALLAH has commanded them to record. They witness and record our actions with complete accuracy by ALLAH'S permission. This does not mean that the Angels possess independent knowledge of the unseen. Rather, ALLAH Azzawajal enables them to observe and record the deeds of HIS servants. Th...

BUILDING THE ANCIENT HOUSE

FAJR REMINDER: BUILDING THE ANCIENT HOUSE By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 21, 1447 (7-June-2026) Prophet Ibrāhīm (‘Alayhi Salām) took his son, Ismā'īl, with him to build the House of Allāh (the Ka‘bah). This contains a profound lesson for parents. Children often learn through observation, and their parents are usually their greatest role models. Therefore, parents should strive to set good examples and allow their children to witness and participate in righteous deeds. Involving children in acts of worship helps nurture faith and allows them to share in the reward. From an early age, they should be encouraged to establish prayer, observe voluntary fasts, give charity, and engage in other acts of obedience to Allāh. As Prophet Ibrāhīm and Ismā‘īl (‘Alayhimā Salām) raised the foundations of the House, stone upon stone, they continuously supplicated to Allāh, asking Him to accept their efforts. Allāh (ﷻ) says: “And (remember) when Ibrāhīm and (his son) Isma’īl were raising the foundation...

Islamic 💕 Letter

*Islamic 💕 Letter* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Brothers and Sisters in Islam, every Friday, a special treasure is distributed. The key to unlocking it is not wealth or status, but something far simpler: time. When you make the conscious effort to go for Jumu'ah prayers early, you are not just securing a seat in the mosque. You are securing a seat in the divine mercy of Allah. *The Reward of a Sacrifice:* From numerous authentic hadith, the one who goes to attend the Juma'at prayers in the First Hour is rewarded as if he has sacrificed a camel. The one who comes in the Second Hour as if he has sacrificed a cow, and then a chicken, and then an egg. 📚 Authentic. Therefore, the earlier you come, the greater the rewards. Slaves of Allah! Those who attend Jumu’ah prayer should be quiet and listen attentively to the imam when he is preaching. It is not permissible to speak to others, even if that is to tell them to be quiet. Whoever does that has engaged in idle talk...
