*SILENT PUNISHMENT OF SIN*
Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said:
“Among their hidden punishments is: being deprived of the sweetness of intimate supplication and the delight of worship.”
...
So do not leave the door of Allah, and do not abandon du‘ā’; for hearts only come to life through nearness to Him, Glorified be He.
Morning and evening Adhkar
Do not leave your fortress, and increase in the remembrance of Allah.

Note: “Hidden punishments” refers to consequences of sins -like losing khushū‘, feeling ibadah as heavy, or du‘ā feeling empty.
May Allah accept it from you and us. Aameen
