TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INSHIQĀQ (Qur’an 84)

Yaum al-ithnayn | 17th day of Dhul-Qa'dah, 1447 AH | Monday, 4th May 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INSHIQĀQ (Qur’an 84)_*. BismilLah. 


Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Inshiqāq. 

Verses 6–15: Human Accountability

6. يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنسَانُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَاقِيهِ

Meaning: O human, you are striving toward your Lord, and you will meet HIM.

Commentary: Every effort—good or bad—leads to ALLAH Azzawajal. Life is a journey toward accountability.

7. فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ

Meaning: Then as for the one given his record in his right hand

Commentary: Symbol of success and salvation.

8. فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا

Meaning: He will receive an easy reckoning

Commentary: A gentle accounting—ALLAH Azzawajal overlooks minor faults.

9. وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا

Meaning: And return to his family joyfully

Commentary: Reuniting with righteous loved ones in Jannah.

10. وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ

Meaning: But as for the one given his record behind his back

Commentary: A humiliating position—indicating rejection and punishment. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
