 🌸 *FRIDAY SERIES* 🌸

Alhamdulillaah! 

Good news!

Today is the *BEST FRIDAY of the ENTIRE year!*

Really? 

*YES!*

We know that Friday is the BEST DAY of the WEEK. 

🍃The Prophet ﷺ said:

 "The BEST day on which the sun rises is FRIDAY. 

On it Adam was created, on it he was admitted to Paradise and on it he was expelled therefrom."(Muslim)

 

🍃And he ﷺ also said: 

"Friday is the *MASTER* of days, and *the GREATEST* of them before Allaah. 

It is *GREATER* before Allaah than the *day of al-Adha and the day of al-Fitr."*

(Ibn Maajah; hasan by al-Albaani) 

AND we ALSO know that the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are the BEST DAYS of the ENTIRE YEAR.

🍃The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The best days of this world are the ten days (i.e., the first 10 of Dhul-Hijjah)...” (al-Bazzar and ibn Hibban; saheeh by al-Albaani)

So imagine!

The BEST day of the week falling on  the BEST DAYS of the year!

Subhaan Allaah!

*That makes today, Friday, the BEST FRIDAY of the ENTIRE YEAR!*

🍃 Ibn Hajar said: 

“The Day of Jumu'ah during the (first) Ten Days of Dhul-Hijjah is more virtuous than the Day of Jumu'ah in other than them. Because on it, two merits come together (for being the Day of Jumu'ah and for being during the (first) Ten Days of Dhul-Hijjah).” [Fath Al-Bārī 3/29]

What a *beautiful* opportunity to earn rewards and make those good deeds count!

*How is that?*

We know that good deeds done during the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are more virtuous than good deeds done during any other times of the year  

🍃The Prophet ﷺ said:

 "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allaah than these ten days." 

The people asked, "Not even jihaad for the sake of Allaah?" 

He said, "Not even jihaad for the sake of Allaah, except in the case of a man who went out to fight giving himself and his wealth up for the cause, and came back with nothing." (al-Bukhaari, 2/457).

And good deeds done on Fridays are ALSO  more virtuous than any other day of the week.

For example,

🔺*Friday is the BEST day to send salaams and blessings on the Prophet ﷺ*

🌿The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Among the best of your days is FRIDAY; so supplicate Allaah MORE OFTEN for me in it....” (Abu Dawood--saheeh by al-Albaani)

🌿And he ﷺ also said:

"Frequently send salutations to me on FRIDAY during the day and night. Whoever sends one salutation to me, *Allaah will send ten to him*.”

(al-Bayhaqi --hasan by al-Albaani)

🔺*Similarly, giving sadaqah on Fridays is more virtuous than giving sadaqah on other days*.

🍃 Ibn Al-Qayyim said:

“Giving charity on Friday with regard to the rest of the week is the BEST day to do so. 

This is similar to the *superiority* of giving charity during *Ramadhaan* with regard to the rest of the months.”

🍃Ka’b radhi Allaahu anhu said,

“Giving Sadaqah on Friday is better than giving it on any other day of the week”

[Abdur Razzak in his Musanaf(5558)-saheeh]

🍃Ibn al-Qayyim said:

“I witnessed Shaykh ul Islaam Ibn Taimiyyah, when he would go out to the FRIDAY PRAYER, he would take whatever he could find at home of bread etc and he would give that in charity secretly on his way to the prayer.”  (Zad by Ibn al-Qayyim 1/395)

🔺*On Fridays  there’s an hour when duaa made during it is not rejected*.

🍃The Prophet ﷺ said: 

“The day of Friday has twelve hours, in which there is no Muslim slave who asks Allaah for anything but He will grant it to him, so seek it in the last hour after ‘Asr.”

(Abu Dawood, and an-Nasaa’i- saheeh by al-Albaani)

This is known as *Sa’at al-Istijaabah* (a time when Duaa is answered)

*So it is the BEST day of the best days to be making dua at the best time!*

So let us not let this opportunity slip us by. 

Let us do ALL the good deeds we can do today, to the *BEST* of our ability. 

*Let us FAST, and read QUR’AAN, and give SADAQAH*. 

*Let us uphold ties of KINSHIP, and HELP someone in NEED and speak a KIND word.* 

*Let us LEARN something good and TEACH it to others.*

*Let us CONTROL our EYES, our HANDS and our TONGUES.* 

*Let us CLEAR our HEARTS and FORGIVE others.* 

After all, don’t we want to be the *BEST*, on the *BEST FRIDAY of the year?*

And Allaah knows best.
