Avoid Part-timing
------------------بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم
The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are the best ten days of the whole year. Better than any other days. Better than all the Fridays. Better than any nights except the last ten of Ramadan.
My People,
If you pray Tahajjud on a normal night, Allah (swt) loves that so much. He loves it more than most other voluntary prayers established during the day.
So think about this:
If Tahajjud is the most loved prayer on normal days… what about Tahajjud in these ten days of dhul-hjjah?
It is like bringing fire to a fuel tank. It will explode with blessings. Yes. Your small cry in the night becomes a huge mountain of good deeds. Your few minutes with Allah (swt) in the middle of the night become better than a thousand months.
Do not miss this. Do not let your blanket win. Do not let your tiredness fool you.
But wait.
What if you are on menses, dear sister?
Do not close this page. Do not feel sad. Do not think, "This is not for me."
You are not excused. Listen carefully.
You cannot pray the swalah. Yes. That is true.
But the night is not only about swalah. The night is about running to Allah (swt).
Here is your plan:
Wake up at the last part of the night (preferably). Just like everyone else. Set your alarm. Get up.
Sacrifice just 15 minutes (minimum). That is all.
(1) You do not need wudu? No problem. Sit down. But can perform wudu if like.
(2) Face the Qibla if you can. If not, just sit anywhere.
(3) Say the easy adhkar: SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar. Say any authentic adhkar. Count on your fingers.
(4) Then make du'a. Cry to Allah (swt). Tell Him everything. Your pain. Your hopes. Your mistakes. Ask for the biggest things.
Then go back to sleep.
That is your Tahajjud. Yes. Allah sees you sitting there, bleeding, tired, but still choosing Him. Do you know how much He loves that?
The only things you cannot do:
(2) The formal prayer (obligatory or voluntary).
(2) Touching the Mushaf (Qur'an) directly without a barrier (like gloves or a cloth).
But du'a? Yes. Adhkar? Yes. Crying? Yes. Begging? Yes. All of it is allowed.
Do not let Shaytan whisper, "There is nothing for you." That is a lie. Shaytan is scared that you will wake up. Because when a woman on menses cries to Allah at night, it is powerful.
My People,
And after these ten days?
Do not stop please.
Do not be a part-time worshipper. Allah (swt) does not like that. He loves the one who is steady. Even a small deed every night.
Keep waking up. Keep crying. Keep sitting with Allah (swt).
Put your name on the special register of people who leave their warm beds for Allah (swt). Stay on that list until your last breath.
Because the ones who meet Allah (swt) with a habit of Tahajjud… they will not be sad on that Day.
Wake up. Tonight. Tomorrow. And every night even after the first ten days of dhul-hjjah.
