Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Mutaffifin. 

Verses 10–17 — The Condition of the Deniers

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

الَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ

وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ

إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

كَلَّا ۖ بَلْ ۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ

كَلَّا إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ

ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُو الْجَحِيمِ

ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ

Meaning

The verses describe those who deny the Day of Judgment, reject Allalph’s signs, and mock revelation.

Commentary

ALLAH Azzawajal describes several qualities of the deniers: Persistent sinners, Arrogant transgressors,

Mockers of revelation.

The phrase:

“Rust has covered their hearts”

means sins gradually darken the heart until truth no longer affects it.

A famous hadith explains this:

When a servant sins, a black dot appears on the heart. If he repents, it is removed; if he continues, it grows until the heart is covered.

One of the greatest punishments mentioned here is:

Being veiled from seeing ALLAH Azzawajal on the Day of Judgment.

The righteous will enjoy closeness to ALLAH Azzawajal, while the wicked are deprived of it. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
