THE EXPIATION

FAJR REMINDER: THE EXPIATION! By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 3, 1447 (21-April-2026) Do you know how to live a good life and die upon goodness? I mean the deeds of expiation that help a person meet Allāh free from sins, as pure as the day they were born. Some people may imagine that this is achieved by repeating Astaghfirullāh a million times, praying hundreds of Rak‘āt without even facing the Qiblah, or locking themselves in a dark room for a year while engaging in invented forms of Dhikr. No—this is not the way. Rather, the path is what the Prophet (ﷺ) taught. Ibn Abbās (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhuma) said Allāh’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “My Lord came to me tonight in the most beautiful form (I think he said, in a dream). He (Allāh) said, ‘O Muḥammad, do you know what the chiefs on high (the Angels) disputed about?’ I said, ‘No.’ He put His Hand between my shoulder-blades and I could feel its coolness on my chest (or just beneath my throat), then I knew everything that is in the heavens and on e...

TAFSEER OF SUURAH AT-TĀRIQ (QUR’AN 86)

✨ DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER ✨ Yaum Athalaatha | 4th day of Dhul-Qa'dah, 1447 AH | Tuesday, 21st April 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AT-TĀRIQ (QUR’AN 86)_*. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of Suurah At-Tariq (Qur’an 86).  Meaning & Commentary Verses 1–3. وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ By the sky and the night comer (At-Tāriq). And what will make you know what the night comer is? It is the piercing star. Commentary: At-Tāriq refers to something that comes at night, often interpreted as a bright star. “Piercing” means it shines intensely, breaking through darkness. ALLAH Azzawajal swears by this creation to draw attention to something important. 👉 The message: Just as the star penetrates darkness, truth pierces through falsehood. Allahu Akbar.  Verse 4 إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ There is no soul except that it has a protector (guardian) over it. Every person is being watched and recorded by Angels...

THE SWEET END

Muslims Till Death: 🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀 ﷺ ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ♥‌‌‌🍃 *THE SWEET END* Hadhrat Luqmaan (A.S) was in the service of a wealthy man. He had such great love for Allah Ta’ala and contact with Him, that it created within him high moral character and exemplary habits. This was a clear sign of his nobility and nearness to Allah Ta’ala. The details of which are described in Surah Luqmaan in the Quran. The nobility of Luqmaan (A.S.) character had a great effect on his master, to such an extent that the master considered him as a great friend and a beloved companion. Although he was the master, yet in fact the master became like a slave to his employee. *“It is the miracle of love that the king became a slave of his beloved.”* It then became the practice of the master that whenever he had something special to eat, he would first feed Hadhrat Luqmaan (A.S.) of it and after Luqmaan (A.S.) had filled himself, he would then eat the leftovers. Hadhrat Luqmaan (A.S.) would consider the lov...

Stolen Blessings* [-Final Episode-]

*Stolen Blessings* [-Final Episode-] ----------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم The Quran and Sunnah consistently warn that certain actions act as a canker, eating away at Allah's blessings in our lives until what remains is an empty shell—a life that may look prosperous on the outside but is barren and troubled on the inside. Today, a husband capriciously favoring one wife over another, a father showering love on some children while neglecting others, or a stepmother maltreating a child entrusted to her care. These are not mere social sickness; they are direct violations of the trust (Amanah) placed by Allah (swt). This reminds me, Umar was a man blessed abundantly. He had built a successful business from the ground up, and was married to two women. Aisha, his first wife, was the mother of his two eldest sons. She was gentle and devout. His second wife, Fatima, was younger, and it was her son who had captured Umar's heart entirely. The injustice began subtly. Fatima’s son recei...

BismilLah.  Let's start with the Context & Background of the suurah which was revealed in Makkan at a time when the Quraysh were denying: The resurrection (life after death), The truth of revelation, The accountability before ALLAH Azzawajal. This Suurah addresses these doubts by: Drawing attention to powerful signs in the universe reminding humans of their humble origin. Affirming that ALLAH Azzawajal has full power to resurrect. Warning that every soul is being watched and recorded. The tone is strong, direct, and reflective, aiming to awaken the conscience. WHO IS A LOSER?

FAJR REMINDER: WHO IS A LOSER? By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 2, 1447 (20-April-2026) Who is truly a loser? Without doubt, the real loser is the one who loses Jannah (Paradise). The greatest loss a person can ever suffer is to be deprived of Paradise forever, and the only sin that causes this complete and eternal loss—without ever entering Jannah—is Shirk. This is a matter every Muslim must understand clearly: whoever dies upon Shirk has no share in Jannah. Some Muslims may be punished in Hell because of their other sins, but they will eventually be taken out because they died upon Eemān. However, this is not the case for the Mushrikūn (polytheists), for they will remain in Hell forever. Allāh says: “Verily, whoever commits Shirk with Allāh, then Allāh has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Ẓālimūn (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers.” [Sūrah Al-Mā’idah (5): 72] So, what exactly is Shirk? Shirk means associating partners with Allāh i...

Let's continue with our studies with some Practical Lessons for Daily Life. 1. Glorify ALLAH Azzawajal regularly. Make SubḥānAllāh part of your daily routine, especially morning and evening. 2. Trust ALLAH’S plan. Everything is created with purpose, what you go through is part of divine wisdom. 3. Stay connected to the Qur’an Just as ALLAH Azzawajal preserved it for the Prophet ﷺ, we should strive to read, memorize, and act upon it. 4. Give reminders gently. Encourage others towards good, but understand guidance is in ALLAH’S hands. 5. Focus on purification: Work on your heart, remove pride, jealousy, and sins. 6. Prioritize Salah and Dhikr Success is tied directly to remembering ALLAH Azzawajal and praying consistently. 7. Don’t be deceived by dunya Wealth, status, and comfort are temporary, keep your focus on t...

Stolen Blessings* [[----Part 7----]]

*Stolen Blessings* [[----Part 7----]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم In our relentless pursuit of happiness, success, and peace, we often look outward—striving for better jobs, more wealth, and ideal circumstances. Yet, we sometimes overlook a fundamental pillar upon which all these blessings rest: the preservation of family ties Some people's lives might feel devoid of barakah (Allah's blessing). Yes. They pray, fast, and give charity, yet their efforts feel fruitless, wealth feels insufficient, and homes lack peace. This accelerated punishment can manifest as constant anxiety, financial hardship, a general feeling of discontent etc — a life from which Allah's mercy has been distanced. On this, Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (r.a.) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “It is not lawful for a man to forsake his Muslim brother for more than three nights, ....” 📚(Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim) While this refers to Muslims in general, the ruling is even more severe for blood rela...

Purely for Sisters

*Purely for Sisters* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Imagine there is a secret club. This club only opens at night when everyone is sleeping. To join this club, you must do one thing: leave your warm, comfortable bed. This club is called Tahajjud. Allah (swt) knows that leaving your bed at night is very hard (especially when the prayer is voluntary). Very few people can do it. That is why this club has the best goodies and rewards. The best gifts are kept for its members. Here is the best part: Your membership never stops. Not even during your menses. My Sister, Many women think, "I can't pray during my period, so I can't join the Tahajjud club." This is not true! Listen carefully: It is not your fault that you have your period. It is not a punishment. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Verily this is a matter Allah has written upon the girls of Prophet Adam (a.s.)…” 📚[Bukhari] When you wake up, you can: (1) Say lots of Astagfirrullah (2...

THEY WILL LATER ENTER PARADISE (II)

FAJR REMINDER: THEY WILL LATER ENTER PARADISE (II) By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 1, 1447 (19-April-2026) Among the inhabitants of Hell will be some Muslims—people who died upon Eemān (faith)—whom Allāh wills to punish because of the sins they committed in this worldly life. They engaged in major sins such as consuming Ribā, committing fornication, drinking intoxicants, killing unjustly, devouring the wealth of orphans, stealing from others, backbiting, slandering, and other sinful acts. However, despite these grave sins, their records are free from Shirk, as they did not associate partners with Allāh or give His Right to other than Him. If Allāh punishes them in Hell as part of His Perfect Justice, they will not remain there forever. Their stay in Hell will be temporary, unlike the eternal punishment of the disbelievers. Eventually, they will be taken out and admitted into Jannah (Paradise) through the intercession of the Angels, the Prophets, and above all, by the limitless Mercy o...

WHO IS SAWDAH?

FAJR REMINDER: WHO IS SAWDAH?  By: Umm Affān Shawwāl 30, 1447 (18-April-2026) Today, I want to speak about a noble woman who became a great support for our beloved Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) after the passing of his first wife, Khadījah Bint Khuwaylid (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha). She was Sawdah Bint Zam’ah Ibn Qays (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha), a woman of dignity, sacrifice, and remarkable faith. She belonged to the noble tribe of Quraysh, specifically from Banu Āmir, while her mother, Ash-Shamus Bint Qays, was from Banu Najjar. Sawdah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha) was known to be a very tall woman. This is understood from the well-known narration reported by Ā’ishah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha), where the Prophet (ﷺ) said that: “One who has the longest hands amongst you would meet me most immediately. She farther said: They (the wives of Allāh's Apostle) used to measure the hands as to whose hand was the longest and it was the hand of Zaynab that was the longest amongst them, as she used to work with her hand and Sp...

BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah  Al-A‘laa. Verse 15 وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلَّىٰ And remembers the Name of his Lord and prays. Dhikr and Salah are keys to success and closeness to ALLAH Azzawajal. Verse 16 بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا But you prefer the worldly life. A criticism of those who prioritize dunya over akhirah. Verse 17 وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ While the Hereafter is better and more lasting. The akhirah is eternal and far superior to temporary worldly life. Verse 18 إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولَىٰ Indeed, this is in the former scriptures. The message is not new—it has always been taught. Verse 19 صُحُفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musah. This connects Islam with earlier revelations, emphasizing one consistent message. Alhamdulillah....

Stolen Blessings* [[----Part 6----]]

*Stolen Blessings* [[----Part 6----]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم In the relentless rush of modern life, our inner dialogue often sounds like this: "Let me just finish this work," "Let me sleep a little more," "Let me quickly attend to this, then I will pray." We treat the Swalah as a flexible item on our to-do list, something to be fitted in when convenient. The truth, as established by the Quran and the Sunnah, is that deliberately delaying an obligatory prayer beyond its prescribed time is a major sin that incurs the wrath of Allah and severs the very connection through which His blessings flow. Think of it like this: you can have the most advanced, powerful car in the world, filled with fuel. But if the engine is disconnected from the wheels, all that power and fuel are useless. The engine will roar, but the car will not move. In this analogy, our hard work and resources are the fuel and the engine. Allah's blessing is the drivetrain...

THE WRONG IN THE ACT

FAJR REMINDER: THE WRONG IN THE ACT By: Umm Affān Shawwāl 29, 1447 (17-April-2026) Following the guidance of the Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) in both his actions and his abstentions is a defining quality of a true believer. Allāh makes this clear when He says: “Indeed in the Messenger of Allāh (Muḥammad ﷺ) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the meeting with) Allāh and the Last Day.” [Sūrah Al-Aḥzāb (33): 21] This establishes a simple and firm principle: whatever the Prophet (ﷺ) practiced, we should practice; and whatever he left, we should leave. Allāh further emphasizes this by saying: “And whatsoever the Messenger (Muḥammad ﷺ) gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it), and fear Allāh. Verily, Allāh is Severe in punishment.” [Sūrah Al-Ḥashr (59): 7]  Despite this clear guidance, a common practice is observed in some Masājid where the Imām and congregation collectively engage in Du’ā‘ aloud immediately after the obligatory Ṣalāt, includ...

After the emissary had concluded his mission with the ruler, he left his court and began to roam around. While roaming, he passed by a place where he could hear a man reciting the Quraan Majeed and grinding grain. He thus approached the man and greeted him with salaam two or three times, but the man did not reply to his salaam.   Finally, the man replied to his salaam and asked, “How is it that someone is making salaam to me in this land? They were not like other dates; they were impossibly plump, with a honeyed richness that could sweeten a whole month’s bitterness. His people believed the angels themselves watered his trees. Habib was a man of unwavering devotion. His charity was as quiet and constant as the dawn. Habib would say "My orchard is for all the community, not a possession.” But his son, Tariq, saw it differently. He saw not a gift, but a wasted opportunity. “We could be rich, Father!” he’d argue, watching the merchant caravans pass by. “We sell these dates for pennies while others grow fat on inferior fruit. This is not piety, it is foolishness!” Habib would simply shake his head. “Allah’s balance is perfect, my son. Do not tip the scales with greed.” When Habib passed away, the entire village mourned. THE PERFECT LIFE OF JANNAH

FAJR REMINDER: THE PERFECT LIFE OF JANNAH By: Umm Affān Shawwāl 27, 1447 (15-April-2026) Sleep is often described as a form of partial death. As Allāh says: “It is He, Who takes your souls by night (when you are asleep)…” [Sūrah Al-An’ām (6): 60] Yet in Jannah (Paradise), sleep will not exist, because death itself will no longer exist. The life of the Hereafter is complete and perfect—free from worry, hardship, pain, or illness. In such a flawless state, there will be no need for rest or sleep. Jābir Ibn ‘Abdullāh (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) was asked: “O Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ), do the people of Paradise sleep?” The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said: “Sleep is the brother of death, and the people of Paradise do not sleep.” [al-Mu’jam al-Awsaṭ liṭ-Ṭabarānī 919] Even more remarkable is that the people of Jannah will be free from bodily needs such as urination and defecation. Abū Hurayrah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) narrated that the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said: “The firs...

True Message

*True Message* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم It doesn't mean that someone who frequently remembers or talk about death is ready to or will die soon. Also, it doesn't mean that someone who completely forgets about or talk about death will not die soon. What matters most is living in this world 🌎 as a someone who have not completely lost focus on the journey he or she have embarked on. This reminds me, A brother visited one of the graveyards and narrated a story of what he saw on the sign-board of that graveyard while entering the graveyard and while going out of the graveyard. Honestly speaking, the messages on that graveyard sign-board should touch every Muslim who have an ATOM of fear of Allah (swt). Yes. Guess what anybody entering and or going out of that particular graveyard will read on the graveyard sign-board: *"We were once like you"* *"You will soon be like us"* 😢😢 Anyone who have ever visited a graveyard for any reason will affirm t...

WHATEVER WE WANT

FAJR REMINDER: WHATEVER WE WANT… By: Umm Affān Shawwāl 26, 1447 (14-April-2026) The disbelievers have long made it a habit to test the Messengers and the believers, seeking to challenge the truth of Islām. Yet, how can one truly test a man who is taught by Allāh and granted knowledge far beyond human understanding? Thawbān (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) narrated that a Jewish rabbi once came to question the Prophet (ﷺ) about certain matters. The Jew asked: “What will be presented to them (i.e. the people of Jannah) first when they enter Paradise? He said: “Caudate lobe of whale liver.” He said: “What food will be given to them after that? He said: “The bull of Paradise, which used to graze along its edge, will be slaughtered for them.” He said: “What will their drink be?” He said: “From a spring there that is called Salsabīl.” [Ṣaḥiḥ Muslim 315] Indeed, Jannah (Paradise) is a place of pure enjoyment, where its people will delight in eating and drinking without hardship or limitation. MEN AND WOMEN IN PARADISE

FAJR REMINDER: MEN AND WOMEN IN PARADISE By: Umm Affān Shawwāl 25, 1447 (13-April-2026) Men and women share equally in the promise of Jannah (Paradise). Whoever truly believes, performs righteous deeds, and dies upon Eemān (Belief)—whether male or female—will be granted entry into Paradise. This is a clear and beautiful assurance from Allāh: “Allāh has promised to the believers – men and women, - Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of ‘Adn (Eden Paradise). But the greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allāh. That is the supreme success.” [Sūrah At-Tawbah (9): 72] Furthermore, the blessings of Jannah include being reunited with one’s righteous spouse. A man who enters Paradise will be joined by his believing wife (or wives) who also attained it. Allāh says: “Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness.” [Sūrah Az-Zukhruf (43): 70] And He also says: “They and their wives will be in pleasant shade, reclining on thrones.” [...

THE ILLUSION OF REFLECTION

🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀 ﷺ ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ ` * *THE ILLUSION OF REFLECTION* Once there was a king who had presented his daughter, the princess, with a beautiful diamond necklace. The necklace went missing & his people in the kingdom searched everywhere but could not find it. Some said a bird might have stolen it. The king then put a reward for $50,000 for anyone who found it. One day a clerk was walking home along a river next to an industrial area. This river was completely polluted, filthy & smelly. As he was walking, he saw something shimmering in the river . To his surprise it was the diamond necklace. He felt so happy. If only he could get the necklace out, that would mean the $50,000 reward would be his. He put his hand into the filthy river & grabbed at the necklace, but somehow missed it.Taking his hand out, he looked again. The necklace was still there. He tried again & again. Just when he thought he caught it, he missed. Finally he decided to wade into t...

Stolen Blessings* [[---- Part 3 ----]]

*Stolen Blessings* [[---- Part 3 ----]] ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم We often fall into the trap of believing that success is a simple formula: hard work + talent + opportunity = desired outcome. While these elements are important, for a Muslim, they are merely the visible tools. The true, unseen force that gives these tools their efficacy is Barakah—the blessing of Allah. My People, Allah's blessings are not just in wealth, but in time, health, peace of mind, and spiritual contentment. However, these blessings are not unconditional. They are a trust from Allah, and our actions can either increase them or cause them to be diminished or even removed. The Quran and Sunnah highlight several actions that can lead to this spiritual poverty: *Action No 1:* Ingratitude (Kufr al-Ni'mah): This is the primary cause. Failing to acknowledge that every good we have is from Allah, and instead attributing success to our own intellect or effort, is a grave form of ungratefulness....

Life will go on

*Life will go on* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم When you pass away, do not worry about your dead body as fellow Muslims will take good care of it. They will take off your clothes, wash your body up, and wrap it in a clean white shroud. They will take you to your new house, the grave. Many are those who will escort you to your final resting place; many will even cancel their businesses to see you off. You can rest easy knowing that the world will not collapse or even mourn you; life will go on, and your job will be taken by another. Your spouse will be taken by another. Your property will be legally distributed among your heirs whereas you will be brought to account for every moment of life in this world. According to the degree of affinity with others, the period they will spend to mourn you will vary. Eventually, you will be completely forgotten and assigned a special place on the shelf of memories. Believe it or not, the above is nothing but the truth! Hence, your st...

THE HOURIS OF JANNAH

FAJR REMINDER: THE HOURIS OF JANNAH By: Umm Affān Shawwāl 24, 1447 (12-April-2026) How delightful and breathtaking Jannah (Paradise) truly is! Its beauty and comfort are so overwhelming that even the one with the least share of its blessings will feel as though he possesses the greatest fortune of all. Abū Sa’īd Al-Khudri (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The lowest of people in status in Paradise will be a man whose face Allāh turns away from the Fire towards Paradise, and shows him a tree giving shade. He will say, ‘O Lord, bring me closer to that tree so that I may be in its shade… Then he will enter his house (in Paradise) and his two wives (from among Al-Ḥūr al-'ayn) with large and dark eyes will come in and will say to him, ‘Praise be to Allāh who brought you to life for us and brought us to life for you.’ Then he will say, ‘No one has been given what I have been given.’” [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 188] From the immense favors that Allāh has prepared for the believ...

THE HIDDEN GUARDIAN

Muslims Till Death: 🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀 ﷺ ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ   *`` ` * *THE HIDDEN GUARDIAN* Ibn Jad'aan had many camels, at that time it was considered the ultimate wealth of the Arabs. During Spring times Ibn Jad’aan used to go out. He would see good and healthy fat camels and their udders filled to the extent of almost exploding. Whenever the little offspring (i.e. the calf) came close to the mother camel, her milk would pour forth because of the great abundance of blessings and abundance of goodness. So, I (Ibn Jad’aan) looked at one of my she camels with her healthy calf, whose udder was so full of milk and I remembered my poor neighbour who had seven young daughters. So, I said to myself, by Allah I will give this camel and her calf as Sadaqah (charity) to my neighbour – and he recited the Ayah where Allah said: لَن تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ *“By no means Shall you Attain piety and righteousness unless you spend in Allah’s cause of which that y...
