*Yusuf & the Devil*
------------------بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
A brother named Yusuf was tired. Every night, his children cried for no reason. Every morning, he woke up feeling like a heavy weight was on his chest. His money kept disappearing in strange ways. His wife had bad dreams almost every single night.
One Friday, an old man came to Yusuf's door selling dates. The old man looked at Yusuf's face and said, "Son, something evil is staying in your house."
Yusuf felt his heart drop. "How do you know?" he asked.
The old man smiled and said, "The Prophet (peace be upon him) told us: In Surah al-Baqarah there is an ayah which is the best of all the ayats of the Quran. It is never recited in a house but the Shaytan leaves. That ayah is Ayatul Kursi."
Yusuf ran inside. He recited it silently many times. Then he put the audio on repeat. He let it play the whole night and sometimes during the day.
The first week, nothing significant changed. But he kept going.
Then something amazing happened. The second week, No bad dreams. No crying children. No heavy feeling. Silence. Peace.
Yusuf was shocked. He kept playing the audio every day, all day.
After, his wife told him something unbelievable. She said, "Last night, I saw a dark shape standing at our door. It tried to push the door open. But the moment the Quran audio played Allahu la ilaha illa huw…. the shape screamed and flew away like burning paper."
Yusuf cried. He hugged his wife.
Now here is the mind-blowing part.
One morning, Yusuf forgot to recite Ayatul Kursi before leaving for work. He stepped outside. Immediately, a big car almost hit him. Then his phone broke for no reason.
Yusuf stopped walking. He remembered something he had heard: If the evil ones cannot get a person inside his house, they wait until the person steps out of his house.
Right there on the street, he recited Ayatul Kursi. In just seconds, the strange bad luck stopped. His mind cleared. He felt like a heavy chain fell off his body.
Now Yusuf does three things every single day:
(1) He plays Ayatul Kursi audio in his house — all day, every day.
(2) He recites Ayatul Kursi before opening his door to leave.
(3) He recites Ayatul Kursi while walking — sometimes quietly, sometimes in his heart.
And here is his surprising testimony he tells everyone in his masjid:
"Before Ayatul Kursi, my house was a playground for Shaytan. Now? Shaytan himself tells other evil ones: Don't go near that house. And if you see that man walking outside, just run away. He is protected."
Yusuf is not a scholar. He is not a sheikh. He is just a normal man. But Ayatul Kursi made him a fortress.
Try it my brother, my sister. Play the audio. Recite it before you step out. Recite it on the street. Most importantly, reflect on the meaning of the wordings as you recite or listen to the audio recitation. And wait for your own motivating testimony.
