*True Message*
------------------بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
It doesn't mean that someone who frequently remembers or talk about death is ready to or will die soon.
Also, it doesn't mean that someone who completely forgets about or talk about death will not die soon.
What matters most is living in this world 🌎 as a someone who have not completely lost focus on the journey he or she have embarked on.
This reminds me,
A brother visited one of the graveyards and narrated a story of what he saw on the sign-board of that graveyard while entering the graveyard and while going out of the graveyard. Honestly speaking, the messages on that graveyard sign-board should touch every Muslim who have an ATOM of fear of Allah (swt). Yes. Guess what anybody entering and or going out of that particular graveyard will read on the graveyard sign-board:
*"We were once like you"*
*"You will soon be like us"*
😢😢
Anyone who have ever visited a graveyard for any reason will affirm that the above messages are a "true reminder" because it's a definite thing that somehow one day, we will ALL be taken to the graveyard for burial and will be left to live there alone😢. This is what makes the messages on that graveyard sign-board heart-touching.
Now,
*Hadith on the call of the grave:*
"When the believing worshipper is buried, the grave says to him: “Welcome. Indeed, to me, you are the most beloved of those who walked upon me. Since you have been entrusted to me and delivered to me today, you shall see what I have arranged for you.” It will then widen for him so that his sight extends, and a door to Jannah will be opened for him”
"When a sinner or disbeliever is buried , the grave says to him: “You are not welcome. Indeed, to me, you are the most hated of those who walked upon me. Since you have been entrusted to me and delivered to me today, you shall see what I have arranged for you.”He said: “It will begin closing in on him until his ribs are crushing each other.” 📚(See: Musnad Ahmad, vol. 2 pg. 293, vol. 3 pg. 126 and vol. 4 pg. 287
My People,
Say "ASTAGFIRULLAH" countless times today & always because we have all committed some sins in the past, the sins that if we remember, we become ashamed of ourselves, we become worried - as whether we will get Allah's mercy on the day of judgement or not.
But guess what?
If we repent sincerely, Allah (swt) will command Angels to continue to seek forgiveness for ALL our repented sins till the day of judgement 😳. Yes. There's an evidence to this in the glorious Quran. Surah Ghafir, chapter 40 verse 7
"Those [angels] who carry the Throne and those around it exalt [Allāh] with praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who have believed, [saying], "Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire. 📚Q40:7
Now,
What's sincere repentance?
As for sincerity in repentance, it is achieved when a repentant quits the sin exclusively for the sake of Allah (swt), aspiring for His forgiveness and seeking to earn His pleasure and escape His punishment, as opposed to quitting a sin for a worldly reason.
