DRAGGED TO HELL

 FAJR REMINDER: DRAGGED TO HELL

By: Umm Affān

Dhū al-Qa'dah 11, 1447 (29-April-2026)

On the Day of Resurrection, the disbelievers will be raised in the most humiliating condition—dragged and gathered upon their faces. This will be a severe disgrace and a terrifying punishment for those who rejected the truth and turned away from the Guidance of Allāh. Allāh says: “...And We shall gather them together on the Day of Resurrection on their faces, blind, dumb and deaf, their abode will be Hell; whenever it abates, We shall increase for them the fierceness of the Fire.” [Sūrah Al-Isrā‘ (17): 97]

This reality was further explained by the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) when a man found it difficult to imagine how someone could be made to walk on his face. Anas Ibn Mālik (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) narrated: A man said, “O Allāh's Prophet! Will Allāh gather the non-believers on their faces on the Day of Resurrection?” He said, “Will not the One Who made him walk on his feet in this world, be able to make him walk on his face on the Day of Resurrection?” (Qatādah, a subnarrator, said: Yes, By the Power of Our Lord!) [Ṣaḥiḥ al-Bukhārī 4760]

On that dreadful Day, they will be blind, unable to see; dumb, unable to speak; and deaf, unable to hear. This punishment will reflect the state they lived in during their worldly life—they were blind to guidance, deaf to the call of truth, and unwilling to speak with sincerity regarding faith. Allāh says: “The parable of those who reject Faith is as if one were to shout like a goatherd, to things that listen to nothing but calls and cries: Dead, dump, and blind, they are void of wisdom.” [Sūrah Al-Baqarah (2): 171]

Their march toward Hell will not be one of choice, but of force and humiliation. They will be driven harshly, threatened, and pushed violently toward the blazing Fire, while suffering intense thirst and fear. Allāh says: “The Day when they will be pushed down by force to the Fire of Hell, with a horrible, forceful pushing. This is the Fire which you used to belie.” [Sūrah Aṭ-Ṭūr (52): 13-14]

Unlike the people of Jannah, who are welcomed with honour and whose gates are opened in celebration of their arrival, the disbelievers will find the gates of Hell already opened for them as a sign of disgrace and punishment. The angels guarding Hell will question them, reminding them of the warnings they once received in the world. Yet, they will have no excuse left. Allāh says: “The Unbelievers will be led to Hell in a crowd: until, when they arrive, there, its gates will be opened. And its keepers will say, ‘Did not Messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing to you the Signs of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of This Day of yours?’ The answer will be: ‘True; but the Decree of Punishment has been proved true against the unbelievers!’” [Sūrah Az-Zumar (39): 71]

Indeed, there is no wisdom in worshipping anyone besides Allāh, the One Who created, sustains, and controls all affairs. To turn away from Him is the greatest loss, both in this life and in the Hereafter.

I beseech Allāh to protect us from disbelief, misguidance, and the punishment of Hell. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
