*_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-GHĀSHIYAH (Qur’an Chapter 88) continues_*. BismilLah. 


Before our reminder today, Let’s remember a brother who is going through illness. ALLAH Azzawajal knows him and knows his condition. Please include him in your daily du’as, ask ALLAH (Azzawajal) to grant him complete shifa, ease his pain, and replace his hardship with relief. May ALLAH Azzawajal accept it from us all. Aameen. 


Let's continue from yesterday's reminder with our studies of suurah Al-Ghāshiyah. 

Verses 1–7: The People of Hell:

1. هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ

Has there come to you the story of the Overwhelming Event?

➡️ A powerful opening to grab attention about the Day of Judgment.

2. وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ

Faces on that Day will be humbled

➡️ People of Hell will be humiliated and fearful.

3. عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ

Laboring, exhausted.

➡️ They worked hard in الدنيا, but for the wrong reasons.

4. تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةً

They will enter a blazing 🔥 fire.

➡️ Severe punishment

5. تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ

They will be given drink from a boiling spring.

➡️ Even relief becomes punishment

6. لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍ

No food except thorny plants

➡️ Food that neither nourishes nor satisfies.

7. لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِن جُوعٍ

Which neither nourishes nor relieves hunger

➡️ Continuous suffering. AstaghfirulLah. Supporting Hadith: 

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The Fire of Hell was kindled for a thousand years until it became red, then for a thousand years until it became white, then for a thousand years until it became black. So it is black and dark.” Jami` at-Tirmidhi

➡️ Relates to: “They will enter a blazing Fire…”

➡️ Shows the شدت and horror of Hell described in the Surah

*_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
