*_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-FAJR (Qur'an, Chapter 89). BismilLah. 


Let's continue from yesterday's reminder with our brief studies of suurah Al-Fajir. Verses 15–20: 

The Reality of Human Nature:

15. فَأَمَّا الْإِنسَانُ...

When man is tested with honor, he says: “My Lord has honored me”

➡️ People wrongly equate wealth with ALLAH'S favor.

16. وَأَمَّا إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ...

But when tested with restriction, he says: “My Lord has humiliated me”

➡️ Poverty is also a test or trial, not humiliation.

17–18. كَلَّا بَل لَّا تُكْرِمُونَ الْيَتِيمَ...

No! But you do not honor the orphan…

➡️ True معيار (measure) is how you treat the weak and needy.

19–20. وَتَأْكُلُونَ التُّرَاثَ...

And you consume inheritance greedily…

➡️ Condemns greed and love of wealth.

Verses 21–26: The Day of Judgment:

21–23. كَلَّا إِذَا دُكَّتِ الْأَرْضُ...

When the earth is crushed… and your Lord comes…

➡️ A terrifying scene of Qiyamah

24. يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ...

Man will say: “I wish I had sent ahead for my life”

➡️ Regret when it's too late

25–26. فَيَوْمَئِذٍ...

None can punish like HIM...…

➡️ The شدت (severity) of ALLAH’S justice.

Verses 27–30: The Peaceful Soul:

27. يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ

O tranquil soul.

➡️ The believer who had faith and trust in ALLAH 

28. ارْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً...

Return to your LORD, pleased and pleasing.

➡️ A beautiful end — ALLAH is pleased with them

29–30. فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي...

Enter among My servants… enter My Paradise.

➡️ The ultimate success, Jannah.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
