JANNAH IS ALREADY CREATED

FAJR REMINDER: JANNAH IS ALREADY CREATED

By: Umm Affān

Shawwāl 20, 1447 (8-April-2026)

The correct belief is that Jannah (Paradise) has already been created and prepared. Allāh says: “Race one with another in hastening towards Forgiveness from your Lord (Allāh), and towards Paradise, the width whereof is as the width of heaven and earth, prepared for those who believe in Allāh and His Messengers. That is the Grace of Allāh which He bestows on whom He pleases. And Allāh is the Owner of Great Bounty.” [Sūrah Al-Ḥadīd (57): 21]

Abū Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said, “When Allāh created Paradise and Hellfire... Allāh said (O Jibreel): ‘Go to the Hellfire and behold it and what I have prepared therein for its people.’ Jibreel saw that it was layered, one above the other. He returned to Allāh and said: ‘By Your Might, no one who hears of it will enter it.’ Allāh commanded that it be encircled by desires, and then instructed: ‘Return to it.’ Upon his return, Jibreel stated: ‘By Your Might, I fear that no one will escape it.’” [Sunan At-Tirmidhī 2560]

This noble Ḥadīth clearly establishes that both Paradise and Hellfire are already in existence. Jannah has been made ready as the eternal reward and dwelling place for the believers. Allāh says: “The description of the Paradise which the Muttaqūn (pious) have been promised! – Underneath it rivers flow, its provision is eternal and so is its shade, this is the end (final destination) of the Muttaqūn…” [Sūrah Ar-Rad (13): 35]

Among the delights that the believers will enjoy in Jannah is Tūbā. Allāh says: “Those who believe (in the Oneness of Allāh - Islāmic Monotheism), and work righteousness, Tūbā (it means all kinds of happiness or name of a tree in Paradise) is for them and a beautiful place of (final) return.” [Sūrah Ar-Rad (13): 29]

But what exactly is Tūbā? Abū Sa’īd al-Khudri reported: A man said to the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) “What is Tūbā (13:29)?” The Prophet said, “It is a tree in Paradise as wide as a hundred years of travel. The clothes of the people of Paradise will come from its leaves.” [Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān 7573]

Likewise, Abū Hurayrah reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Verily, in Paradise there is a tree in whose shade a rider could travel for one hundred years. Recite the verse if you wish, ‘And shade extended,’ (56:30). The space of one of your bows in Paradise is better than everything over which the sun rises and sets.” [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 3252, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2826] He (ﷺ) also said: “There is a tree in Paradise (so huge) that a fast (or a trained) rider may travel: for one hundred years without being able to cross it.” [Ṣaḥiḥ al-Bukhārī 6553]

Indeed, Jannah is unimaginably beautiful and magnificent. It contains every delight and blessing the soul could ever long for. Allāh says: “Therein you shall have (all) that your inner-selves desire, and therein you shall have (all) for which you ask. An entertainment from (Allāh), the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [Sūrah Fuṣṣilat (41): 31-32]

I beseech Allāh, the Most High, to admit us into Paradise, especially Al-Firdaws, the highest level thereof. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
