Yaumul Jumuat | 29th Shawwāl, 1447 AH | Friday, 17th April 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH Al-A‘LAA (Qur’an 87) continues_*. BismilLah. 


Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day. May ALLAH Azzawajal accept it from us all. Please remember our ill brother in your dua for ALLAH Azzawajal to grant him complete shifa. 


Let's continue from yesterday's reminder with our studies of suurah al-a'laa, Qur’an 87.


Verse 11

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْأَشْقَى

But the wretched one will avoid it.

Those who are arrogant reject guidance and distance themselves from truth.

Verse 12

الَّذِي يَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرَىٰ

Who will enter the Great Fire. A warning of Hellfire for those who persist in rejection.

Verse 13

ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ

Then neither dies therein nor lives.

A description of unbearable punishment, no relief through death, no real life.

Verse 14

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ

He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself. True success is spiritual, cleansing the heart from sins. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
