TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INSHIQĀQ (Qur’an 84)

✨ DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER ✨ Yaum As-sabt | 15th day of Dhul-Qa'dah, 1447 AH | Sunday, 3rd May 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INSHIQĀQ (Qur’an 84)_*. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Inshiqāq.  Verses 1–5: The End of the World 1. إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انشَقَّتْ Meaning: When the sky is split open Commentary: The sky, which appears strong and stable, will be torn apart. A powerful reminder that nothing in creation is permanent. 2. وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ Meaning: And listens to its Lord—and it must obey Commentary: The sky will obey ALLAH Azzawajal perfectly. Everything in creation submits, unlike many humans. 3. وَإِذَا الْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ Meaning: And when the earth is stretched out Commentary: The earth will be flattened, expanded, no mountains or barriers. A preparation for gathering all mankind. 4. وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ Meaning: And throws out what is within it and becomes empty Commentary: The earth will release the dead from graves....

THE LOCATION OF HELL

FAJR REMINDER: THE LOCATION OF HELL By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 15, 1447 (3-May-2026) Where exactly is Hell located? This is one of the matters of the unseen over which the scholars have held differing views, primarily because no clear, and decisive text conclusively settles the issue. Some scholars, including Ibn ‘Abbās (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu), held the well-known opinion that Hell is situated in the lowest, seventh layer of the earth. They supported this view with the Statement of Allāh: “Nay! Truly, the Record (writing of the deeds) of the Fujjār (disbelievers, sinners, evil-doers and wicked) is (preserved) in Sijjiīn.” [Sūrah Al-Muṭaffifīn (83): 7] Likewise, in the Ḥadīth of Al-Barā’ Ibn ‘Āzib (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhu) concerning the soul of a disbeliever, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Allāh then commands, ‘Write his record (that he will be) in Sijjīn, in the lowest earth.’” [Musnad Aḥmad 18534] Similarly, when Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymīn (Raḥimahullāh) was asked about the location of Hell, he expla...

TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INSHIQĀQ (Qur’an 84)

✨ DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER ✨ Yaum As-sabt | 15th day of Dhul-Qa'dah, 1447 AH | Saturday, 2nd May 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INSHIQĀQ (Qur’an 84)_*. BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah brothers and sisters in Islaam. First of all, my apologies for the delay in sharing today. I arrived in Ghana late yesterday preparing for Hajj be-iznilLah. May ALLAH Azzawajal accept it from us all. You may experienced such delays from today so please be patient as I will hopefully not miss sharing on daily basis in shaa ALLAH.  Let's start with the Context & Background of Suurah Al-Inshiqāq which was revealed in Makkah during a time when the early Muslims were facing denial and mockery from the Quraysh. The Main themes are: The Day of Judgment. The accountability of every human being. The contrast between believers and disbelievers. The certainty of returning to ALLAH  Azzawajal. This suurah vividly describes cosmic events, like the sky splitting and the earth stretching....

SHE WAS ALSO TESTED! By: Umm Affān

FAJR REMINDER: SHE WAS ALSO TESTED! By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 14, 1447 (2-May-2026) What is the reality of how widows and divorcées are treated in many Muslim communities today? Sadly, many of our sisters endure painful experiences at the hands of some brothers. The situation can become even more difficult for those who come from non-Muslim families, lacking the support system they need. We ask Allāh for His Aid in easing their burdens. Now reflect on how the Muslim community during the time of the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) conducted themselves toward women without husbands, such as Sawdah Bint Zam’ah Ibn Qays (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha). Their compassion was not mere words—it was sincere and practical. They felt one another’s struggles and stood together in support. Khawlah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha) even recommended Sawdah to the Prophet (ﷺ) for marriage, and he accepted and married her. Subḥānallāh! The best of mankind, our beloved Prophet (ﷺ), married Sawdah, a widow. This stands as a powerfu...

FRY THE EGGS NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

🍀بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم🍀 ﷺ ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ♥‌‌‌🍃ﷺ   *`` Friday 1st May 2026/12 Dhul-Qa'da 1447 AH ` * *FRY THE EGGS NOW  BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE* A friend told me a story of how her mother called her around 10:00 pm and asked her to quickly fry  eggs for her. She said, she told her mother she was too tired and pleaded with her to allow her fry them in the morning. The mother insisted on eating the eggs that night but the lady prevailed and the mother kept quiet over the matter and went to sleep.  Early the following morning, the lady went into the kitchen and fried few eggs, well garnished and with fresh fish. She knocked her mother's door to serve her the scrambled eggs; with hot tea. There was no answer. She forcefully opened the door and woke the mother up to eat her eggs, but the mother was dead !!! She screamed! She shook her! She shouted,  "Mummy! Mummy !, Stand up and eat your eggs. I even made hot tea for you with them, mummy I am sorry". Hot tears rolled ...

TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-BURŪJ (Qur’an 85) continues

✨ DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER ✨ Yaumul Jumuat| 14th day of Dhul-Qa'dah, 1447 AH | Friday, 1st May 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-BURŪJ (Qur’an 85) continues_*. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Burūj with some practical lessons below.  1. Let's stay firm in our faith, no matter the pressure. The believers in the trench chose death over disbelief, this teaches us sincerity and conviction. 2. Oppression never goes unnoticed. Even if justice is delayed, ALLAH Azzawajal sees everything. 3. True success is not dunya, it is Jannah. What looks like loss in this life may be ultimate victory in the next. 4. ALLAH Azzawajal balances justice and mercy. Even oppressors are given a chance to repent, so never lose hope in ALLAH'S forgiveness. 5. Trials are part of the believer’s path. Hardship is not a sign of failure, it may be a sign of being tested and elevated. 6. Beware of being passive in the face of the oppressed. The oppressors sat and watched, sometimes sile...

Chapter Two: When Hearts Began to Lean

Nīkah Written by Qādr, Tested by Genotype Chapter Two: When Hearts Began to Lean We lived in a community where no one talked about genotype. It was one of those things that existed quietly in the background, yet no one gave it the attention it deserved. Only a few people even knew what genotype compatibility meant in marriage, and among those who knew, many still ignored it. People got married based on emotions, family approval, and sometimes pressure, without understanding the possible consequences. Despite that, it was rare to openly see the effects, or maybe people simply chose not to speak about them when they happened. Whenever such issues arose, they were hidden behind statements like “it is destiny” or “Allah knows best,” and life moved on as if nothing had ever gone wrong. As for us, we grew up without giving it much thought. At fifteen, our biggest concerns were laughter, friendship, and the simple joys of life. But as we grew older, things began to change in ways we did not f...

The Days That Passed Like a Whisper

Nīkah Written by Qādr, Tested by Genotype Chapter One: The Days That Passed Like a Whisper My name is Tahira. I live in a family of five—two boys and two girls, including me, making us five in total. We were known to be a respected family in our community, not because of wealth or status, but because of something far more valuable—our adherence to the Deen and the way we carried ourselves with dignity. Our home was simple, yet filled with peace. The mornings began with the sound of Qur’an recitation from my father’s room, soft yet powerful enough to settle the heart. My mother moved through the house with calm authority, her presence alone enough to keep everything in order. My brothers, though playful and sometimes stubborn, knew their boundaries. And my sister and I shared a bond that needed no words. Outside our home, however, was a different world. We were surrounded by people who no longer valued modesty. Women dressed without shame, men spoke without respect, and marriages ...

DELAYING IN FOLLOWING THE IMĀM

FAJR REMINDER: DELAYING IN FOLLOWING THE IMĀM By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 13, 1447 (1-May-2026) Last week, I addressed the impermissibility and the harmful consequences of deliberately preceding the Imām in Ṣalāh. Today, the focus shifts to another common issue—delaying in following the Imām. In reality, delay in following the Imām falls into two categories: (1) delay due to a valid reason, and (2) delay without any excuse. A delay that occurs for a valid reason may happen when a person becomes distracted, loses concentration, or is unable to hear the Imām clearly. In such a situation, if the Imām has already performed one or two pillars of the prayer—such as Rukū‘ (bowing), rising from it, or Sujūd—the individual should complete what he has missed and then continue following the Imām accordingly. However, if the gap becomes significantly wide—for example, a person is praying behind the Imām, but due to something like a power outage, he is unable to hear and remains standing while...
