No Days Better than these Ten Days

*No Days Better than these Ten Days*

Ibn 'Abbās (رضي الله عنه) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said about the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah:

*“There are no days during which good deeds are more beloved by Allah than these (Ten) Days.”*

He (ﷺ) was asked, "Not even striving for Allah's cause (jihād)?" He replied:

*“Not even (physical) striving for Allah's cause - except for a man who goes out himself, taking all his wealth, and returns with none (i.e., dies and loses all for Allāh).”* [Recorded by al-Bukhārī, at-Tirmithi, and others]

Ibn 'Abbās (رضي الله عنه) also reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:

*“No deed is more sublime and rewardable by Allah (ﷻ) than a good deed done during the Ten Days (ending with the day) of Adhā.”*

[Recorded by ad-Darimī and al-Bayhaqi. Verified to be hasan by al-Albānī (Sahih ut-Targhib wat-Tarhīb no. 1148)]

'Abdullah Bin Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:

*“There are no days during which (good) deeds are better than during the Ten not even (physical) striving for Allāh's cause - except for a man whose horse stumbles, causing him to die (for Allāh's cause).”*

[Recorded by at-Tabarani and Abu Nu'aym. Verified to be authentic by al-Albānī (Sahih ut-Targhib wat-Tarhib no. 1149)]

The salaf well understood the importance of increasing in good deeds during the Ten Days. For example, Mujahid (رحمه الله) reported, “Once the Ten Days started, Sa'id Bin Jubayr (رضي الله عنه) would exert (in worshiping Allah) so much that it was almost beyond his capability.” [Recorded by al-Bayhaqi. Verified to be hasan by al-Albani (Irwa' ul-Ghalil no. 890)]

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE EXPIATION

FAJR REMINDER: THE EXPIATION! By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Qa'dah 3, 1447 (21-April-2026) Do you know how to live a good life and die upon goodness? I mean the deeds of expiation that help a person meet Allāh free from sins, as pure as the day they were born. Some people may imagine that this is achieved by repeating Astaghfirullāh a million times, praying hundreds of Rak‘āt without even facing the Qiblah, or locking themselves in a dark room for a year while engaging in invented forms of Dhikr. No—this is not the way. Rather, the path is what the Prophet (ﷺ) taught. Ibn Abbās (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhuma) said Allāh’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “My Lord came to me tonight in the most beautiful form (I think he said, in a dream). He (Allāh) said, ‘O Muḥammad, do you know what the chiefs on high (the Angels) disputed about?’ I said, ‘No.’ He put His Hand between my shoulder-blades and I could feel its coolness on my chest (or just beneath my throat), then I knew everything that is in the heavens and on e...
