[Sahih Muslim 2813]

Jabir (رضي الله عنه) reported again that Allaah's Messenger (ﷺ) said : _*"lblis has given up on being worshipped by those who perform prayer. [All lblis can achieve is] to entice conflict among them."*_
[Sahih Muslim, 2812].

Qatãdah (رضي الله عنه) said : _'One of Iblis's devils is called Qubqub. Iblis has ordered him to rest for forty years.' Whenever a youth enters this path (of righteousness), Iblis tells Qubqub: 'There he is, I have been preparing you for this type of youth. Deceive and seduce him._
*[lbn Al-Jawzi in Dhamm ai-Hawti, 145]*

How Iblis deserts you.

The devil, once he has finished deceiving the son of Adam, certainly deserts him. In fact Allaah ﷻ tells us in His Glorious Book:
*كَمَثَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِذْ قَالَ لِلْإِنسَانِ اكْفُرْ فَلَمَّا كَفَرَ قَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّنكَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّهَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ*
*Like the example of Satan when he says to man, "Disbelieve." But when he disbelieves, he says, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I fear Allaah, Lord of the worlds."*
[Al-Hashr 59:16].

Three advices to Prophet Musa (عليه الصلاة والسلام)

'Abdu'l-Rahmãn Ibn Ziyad Ibn An'um (رحمه الله) said : _'While [Prophet] Musa (عليه الصلاة والسلام) was in a gathering Iblis came wearing a hooded cape that changed in colors. When the devil came nearer he took off the cape and set it down and came to Musa saying: 'Peace be upon you. Musa replied: 'Who are you?' He said: 'I am Iblis. ' Musa responded: 'No greetings from Allaah to you, what brought you here?' The devil said: 'I came to greet you because of your high godly status.' Musa said: 'What have I seen you wearing?' Iblis replied: 'I use it (the cape) to capture the hearts of the sons of Adam.'_ .

_Musa (عليه الصلاة والسلام) asked: 'What is it that if a human does will enable you to take him over?'_

_He (Iblis) replied: 'If he becomes fond of himself, and considered his (good) deeds plentiful .'_

_I warn you from three things:_

_- First, never be alone with a woman that is not lawful to you. Because whenever someone does so, I personally accompany him and use her to seduce him._
___*PAGE 6*___.

_- Second, never promise Allaah something except that you fulfill your promise. Whenever someone promises Allaah something I personally accompany him to prevent him from fulfilling his promise._

_- And never take an amount of money to give charity except that you make sure you give it to that charity. Whenever someone takes an amount of money to give to charity, I personally accompany him to persuade him not to give it._

_Then Iblis walked away saying: 'Woe to me, thrice, I have taught [Prophet] Musa from what to warn the sons of Adam._

*[Ibn Abî al-Dunya in Makã'd al-Shaytan, 71/47]*
_

This conversation between prophet Musa (عليه الصلاة والسلام) and Iblis as well as the above verses show us that It is essential that we stay awaken in what we do everyday. And this is done by the reminder of Allaah in our actions in order to avoid getting lost.

Ibn Al-Jawzi (رحمه الله) said : _"It is difficult to be safe from the deceptions of the devil because they are numerous and cling to the heart. The one who calls towards what the natural incites is like pushing a boat that is already going downhill. Imagine how fast it would go then... In fact, when angels see that a believer has died in the state of imãn they become amazed."_

▫️ *Each Human Has a Devil Associated With Him*
➖➖➖

Each son of Adam has been assigned a jinn who incites him and makes suggestions to him. In fact, in a hadeeth reported by Ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه), Allaah's Messenger (ﷺ) said :
_*"Each human has been assigned one jinn and one angel associated with him". They asked Him (ﷺ) : 'Is this the same for you Ô Allaah's Messenger ?' He (ﷺ) replied: 'It is the same for me, but Allaah has helped me against my jinn, he became Muslim and does not tell me to do anything but good'*_

Our Mother 'Aishah (رضي الله عنه) said: _*"One time Allaah's Messenger (ﷺ) left my (apartment) during the night and I felt jealous. Then he (ﷺ) came and saw (in what agitated state of mind) I was. He (ﷺ) said: •«A'ishah, what has happened to you? Do you feel jealous?" I replied: 'How can a woman like me not feel jealous in regard to a husband like you?' Allaah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Has your devil overtaken you?" I replied: 'O Allaah's Messenger, is there along with me a devil?' He said: 'Yes!' I said: 'Is a devil attached to everyone?' He said: 'Yes'. I again said: 'O Allaah's Messenger, is one with you also?' He said: "Yes, but my Lord (the Mighty and the Majestic) has helped me and made him Muslim"*_

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
