Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Mutaffifin. 

Verses 18–21 — THE RECORD OF THE RIGHTEOUS;

كَلَّا إِنَّ كِتَابَ الْأَبْرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ

كِتَابٌ مَّرْقُومٌ

يَشْهَدُهُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ

18. Indeed, the record of the righteous is in ‘Illiyyūn.

19. And what can make you know what ‘Illiyyūn is?

20. A written record

21. Witnessed by those brought near [to ALLAH].

Commentary

‘Illiyyūn represents:

A lofty register of righteous deeds

Or a high place of honor in Paradise

Unlike Sijjīn, which symbolizes humiliation and punishment, ‘Illiyyūn symbolizes elevation, purity, and nearness to ALLAH Azzawajal.

The righteous are honored publicly before the angels. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
