Ruqaiyyah's Life

*Ruqaiyyah's Life* ------------------ بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم Ruqaiyyah, lived a life of full-time Muslim. She prayed Tahajjud CONSISTENTLY without missing. She died when Zainab was young. Before her death, she held Zainab’s hand. Her last words were: "Never you be a part-time Muslim who doesn't establish Tahajjud consistently for any reason. Be like me." After her mother died, Zainab’s father married another woman. This woman was Zainab’s stepmother. She did not love Zainab. For twenty years, she hated her. This stepmother had a dark wish. She wanted Zainab to fail. She wanted her to be poor, to be alone, and to have no happiness. She even wanted her to die. She tried many bad things, but none worked. Zainab remembered her mother’s words. Every night, when the house was dark and quiet, she would wake up. She would pray Tahajjud. Something amazing happened. Every evil plan the stepmother made for Zainab... did not touch Zainab. Instead, it went back. It returned to t...

TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) WITH CONTEXT / HISTORICAL BACKGROUND continues

*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_* Yaum al-ithnayn | 15th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Monday, 1st June, 2026.  *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) WITH CONTEXT / HISTORICAL BACKGROUND continues_*. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Infitar with Verse-by-Verse Meanings & Commentary Verse 1: إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انفَطَرَتْ When the sky is cleft asunder. The suurah begins with a vivid apocalyptic image. The “splitting of the sky” symbolizes the end of the current world order. It reminds us that nothing is permanent and the Day of Judgment is inevitable. Verse 2: وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ And when the stars are scattered. Stars, which seem fixed and eternal, will be dispersed. This reminds humans of their limited understanding and the transient nature of the material universe. Verse 3: وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ And when the seas are erupted. The oceans will overflow and reveal the immense power of ALLAH Azzawajal. It serves as a metaphor for t...

READY TO SLAUGHTER

FAJR REMINDER: READY TO SLAUGHTER By: Umm Affān Dhū al-Ḥijjah 15, 1447 (1-June-2026) The command given to Prophet Ibrāhīm (‘Alayhi Salām) to slaughter his beloved son, Isma’īl (‘Alayhi Salām), was among the greatest tests ever faced by a human being. When he informed his son about the divine command, Isma’īl (‘Alayhi Salām) responded with complete submission and promised to remain patient. Thus, both father and son wholeheartedly accepted the Decree of Allāh. Prophet Ibrāhīm (‘Alayhi Salām) demonstrated obedience to his Lord, while Isma’īl (‘Alayhi Salām) showed obedience to both Allāh and his father. Concerning this remarkable moment, Allāh (ﷻ) says: “Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allāh), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering).” [Sūrah Aṣ-Ṣāffāt (37): 103] Commenting on this verse, Ibn Abbās, Mujāhid, Sa'īd Ibn Jubayr, Ad-Dahhak, and Qatādah said: “And he had laid him prostrate on his forehea...
