*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_*
Yaum As-sabt | 27th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Saturday, 13th June, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) continues_*. BismilLah.
Let's conclude on our studies of suurah Al-Infitar. Final verse 19
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا ۖ وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ
"It is the Day when no soul will possess any power to help another soul in any way, and the command on that Day belongs entirely to ALLAH."
Commentary:
This final verse of Surah Al-Infitar explains the true reality of the Day of Judgment after ALLAH Azzawajal twice asked:
"And what can make you know what the Day of Recompense is?" (82:17-18)
The answer is: "It is the Day when no soul will possess any power to help another soul..." On that Day:
No parent can save a child.
No child can save a parent.
No spouse can save a spouse.
No friend can save a friend.
No king can help his subjects.
No wealthy person can buy his freedom. No worldly status, influence, or connections will benefit anyone except by ALLAH'S permission. Every person will stand alone before ALLAH Azzawajal, accountable for his own deeds.
Suurah Al-Infitar begins with the destruction of the universe and ends with the absolute sovereignty of ALLAH Azzawajal. Between these two realities lies the story of every human being: created by ALLAH Azzawajal, watched by Angels, judged by deeds, and destined either for eternal bliss or eternal punishment. Allahu Akbar.
*_May ALLAH Azzawajal make us among the Abrār (the righteous) who are admitted into Na‘im (everlasting bliss) and protect us from the path of the Fujjār (the wicked)_*. Aameen.
