Set Yourself Free
[[-- Episode 1 --]]------------------
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
That hurt in your chest? It burns so much because it came from someone you loved. A stranger cannot break your heart like a brother, a friend, or a parent. You never saw it coming. That is why the knife cuts so deep.
But here is the painful truth you must face:
You keep replaying the movie in your head. You stay angry. You wait for them to feel your pain. But who is really tired here? Not them. They sleep. You cry. They eat. You burn.
You are holding a hot coal in your hands, waiting for them to get burned. But the fire is only eating your own skin.
Now, here is the mind-blowing secret:
Forgiveness is not for them. It never was. You do not forgive to make them feel good. You do not forgive because they asked nicely. You do not forgive because they deserve it. Yes. You forgive because YOU deserve peace.
You deserve to sleep again without that knot in your stomach. You deserve to laugh without that heavy weight on your shoulders.
Holding onto their sin is like drinking poison and hoping they die. It will never work. It only kills you slowly.
But wait—does letting go mean you forget?
No. Absolutely not.
Letting go does not mean you erase your memory. It does not mean you act like nothing happened. It does not mean you give them your trust again (if holding your trust is to prevent future occurrence).
You can remember thelesson. You can be careful with them. You can protect your heart from their hands. That is wisdom.
But do not carry their sin on your back. That is their burden, not yours. Leave their wrong deeds with Allah (swt). He is the Best Judge.
Now,
Listen to what Allah (swt) says:
ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِى ٱلسَّرَّآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ وَٱلْكَٰظِمِينَ ٱلْغَيْظَ وَٱلْعَافِينَ عَنِ ٱلنَّاسِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
"Those who spend in ease and hardship, who control their anger, and who pardon the people—and Allah loves the doers of good." 📚Qur'an, 3:134
Read that last part again:
Allah (swt) loves the doers of good. He loves you—when you let it go. Not because they are good, but because you are good. And you are doing it for Him.
Imagine this:
You are pulling a heavy rope. Your hands are cut and bleeding. You pull hard, thinking you are holding them back. But look closer—the other end of the rope is tied to nothing. It is just you, pulling against the air😃. Drop the rope. Let your hands heal😜.
Let go. Not weak—but wise.
Not forgetting—but free.
Do it for your peace. Do it for Allah's love. Set yourself free today.
To be continued...
