*Lifetime Chance*
[[-- Episode 4 --]]------------------
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
The Prophet (pbuh), said, “A prostitute had once been forgiven. She passed by a dog panting near a well. Thirst had nearly killed him, so she took off her sock, tied it to her veil, and drew up some water. Allah (swt) forgave her for that.” 📚 Authentic hadith
Imagine this:
A woman. A dog. A well.
That woman had a life full of mistakes. Big ones. But Allah saw one moment. Just one.
She saw a dog, dying of thirst. Not a human. Just a tired, thirsty dog. She took off her sock. Tied it to her veil. Pulled up water. And Allah forgave everything.
My People,
If Allah (swt) can erase a lifetime of sins for giving water to a dog… what do you think Allah will do for you when you give water to His thirsty human servants?
This is not a small deed. This is a life-changer.
The Prophet (pbuh) told us this story to wake us up. He wanted us to know: Water saves.
On the Day of Judgment—when we are sweating, shaking, terrified of our own sins—that quantity of water you gave might be the very thing that saves you.
But here is the mind-blowing part. The secret you need to know today:
You don’t have to find a thirsty person in the desert.
Water is part of life. Yes. Every single day, humans need water to live.
So when you give money as sadaqah anywhere—to your masjid, to a poor family, to an orphan—guess what happens? Part of that money will buy water directly and or indirectly. Yes. Someone, somewhere, will use it to drink, to make wudu, to live.
That means: when you give sadaqah frequently, you get the reward of giving water.
Why frequently?
Because Allah (swt) advices us to be amongst the FULL-TIME worshippers not amongst those who do good deed today, then, till another distance time.
My People,
Even if you never touch a well. Even if you never buy a bottle. Your money gifted as sadaqah frequently becomes water. And that water becomes your salvation. So make it a habit. Today.
Muslim Faithful,
Let's say "Economy is Bad" and one person alone can not afford to pay for digging a well or sinking a borehole for people FISSABILILLAH, at least, 3, 4, 5 or even 10 persons can put resources together to fund a water project for a community in desperate need of water, fissabilillah.
And,
Every drop matters. Whether you give a bag of Nigeria satchet water or small bottle of drinking water to someone or groups. This is an essential act and is as important as swalah itself.
Remember,
That woman only gave a sock full of water. And it was enough.
Let your frequent sadaqah be your defender on the Day when nothing else will help. Let your water gift be the reason Allah (swt) looks at you with more mercy.
To be continued...
