بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم

Allah (swt) did not design it that HIS Angels from the sky should descend to do the jobs of masjid maintenance meant for human beings.

In Surah At-Taubah, chapter 9 verse 18, Allah (swt) say:

إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ

"The mosques of Allāh are MAINTAINED by those who believe in Allāh and the Last Day..." 📚At-Taubah 9:18

My People,

It's popularly said *"Action Speak Louder than Words"* . And the Qur'an verse above have proven to us that, without taking care of our Masjid (by giving FISSABILILLAHI), our verbal expression of believing in Allah and the last day will have no basis.

Now,

The day of Friday is also called: ‘Yawmul Mazid’; the day of extras/increases. 📚(Refer: Zadul Ma’ad, vol. 1 pg.397 and Fathul Bari, before Hadith: 876)

Fridays, is a special day for shopping for your Hearafter which begin immediately you are placed in your grave.

The bitter truth is:

In our houses, we changed this and that because they are spoiled, we buy this and that for the smooth running of the house (despite the hash economy). But, It's not only in our houses that caretaking culture is required. Yes. Caretaking and maintenance culture is required even in the masjid where we worship Allah (swt).

Therefore,

I remind myself and you to prepare to be dropping something (reasonable) EVERYDAY inside Fissabilillah box in any masjid where we pray REGULARLY especially on Fridays - for the running of the activities of the masjid & for the propagation of the religion of Allah in general.

At least,

We should believe that this worldly life is a test, hence the reason for so many trials and temptations. This test include finding ourselves inside bad economy, to see those who will hide under the canopy of hash economy and COMPLETELY abandon act of charity.

This is why,

Abu Huraira (r.a.) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, *“There is not a day upon which the servant awakens but that two angels descend. One of them says: O Allah, repay one who spends in charity! The other says: O Allah, give destruction and more problems to one who withholds charity!”* 📚Source: S‌ah‌i‌h‌ al-Bukha‌ri‌ 1442, S‌ah‌i‌h‌ Muslim 1010

Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
