TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) continues

Yaum Al-khamis | 25th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Thursday, 11th June, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) continues_*. BismilLah. 


Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Infitar.

Verse 16.

وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ

"And they will never be absent from it."

This verse continues the description of the fate of the wicked (Al-Fujjār) mentioned in the previous verses:

وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ

"Indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire." (82:14)

يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ

"They will enter and burn therein on the Day of Recompense." (82:15)

وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ

"And they will never be absent from it." (82:16)

ALLAH Azzawajal emphasizes that the punishment of the disbelievers in Hell will not be interrupted, suspended, or escaped. They will not be absent from it even for a moment. The wording removes any hope that they might:

Leave Hell temporarily. Escape from it. Be relieved from it. Avoid its punishment.

This is a severe warning to those who knowingly reject faith and persist in disbelief until death. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. 

*_We ask ALLAH Azzawajal to keep guiding our hearts, protecting our Eemaan from every satanic influence, and granting us sincerity in worship until we meet HIM_*. Aameen.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
