*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_*
Yaum Al-khamis | 18th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Thursday, 4th June, 2026.
*_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) WITH CONTEXT / HISTORICAL BACKGROUND continues_*. BismilLah.
Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Infitar.
Verse 8.
فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ
"In whatever form HE willed, HE assembled you."
Commentary: After reminding mankind that ALLAH Azzawajal created us and proportioned us perfectly in verses 7, ALLAH Azzawajal then draws our attention to HIS power in shaping every human being uniquely. Our height, complexion, features, abilities, and characteristics are all part of ALLAH'S divine design.
The verse is also a call to gratitude. Every blessing in our creation should lead us to recognize and worship our Creator rather than disobey HIM.
Verse 9
كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ
Meaning: "No! But you deny the Recompense (the Day of Judgment)."
Commentary: The word "Kallā" (كَلَّا) is a strong rebuke, meaning: No indeed! or Certainly not!
ALLAH Azzawajal answers the question posed in verse 6:
"What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord?"
The root cause of people's heedlessness is often not ignorance of ALLAH'S blessings, but their denial or neglect of Ad-Dīn here, meaning the Day of Recompense, Judgment, and Accountability.
Many people recognize ALLAH'S favors yet continue in sin because they do not truly prepare for the Day when they will stand before HIM. If a person constantly remembered accountability before ALLAH Azzawajal, it would greatly influence his choices and behavior.
This verse serves as a warning that neglecting the Hereafter is one of the greatest causes of spiritual decline. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH.
*_We ask ALLAH Azzawajal to keep guiding our hearts, protecting our Eemaan from every satanic influence, and granting us sincerity in worship until we meet HIM_*. Aameen.
