 Muslims Till Death:

AS SALAAMU ALAYKUM WARAHMATULLAH WABARAKAATUHU . LET'S START TONIGHT'S EDUCATION. OUR TOPIC IS 👇.                                                                            *THE PILGRIMAGE TO MECCAH (HaJJ) * (Episode 4)

If he is coming by air, he should do ghusl before getting on board the plane, and put on perfume and the ihraam garments before the plane comes in line with the meeqaat, then he should enter into ihraam just before it comes in line with the meeqaat; he should not wait until it is in line with it, because planes travel quickly and he will not have the opportunity, so if he enters ihraam before to be on the safe side, there is nothing wrong with that.

*The Ihraam*

Ihraam means having the intention of starting the rituals of Hajj or Umrah.

When the pilgrim wants to enter ihraam, he should change his clothes and do ghusl like the ghusl done to cleanse oneself of janaabah (impurity following sexual activity). Then he should apply whatever perfume is available, musk or whatever, to his head and beard. It does not matter if traces of that perfume remain after he enters ihraam, because of the hadeeth narrated in al-Saheehayn from Aaishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) who said:

When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) wanted to enter ihraam, he would perfume himself with the best perfume he could find, then I would see shining traces of that musk on his head and beard after that. Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 271; Muslim, 1190.

Then after doing ghusl and putting on perfume, the pilgrim should put on the ihraam garments:

*Ihraam for Men*:
In the case of men, there is a specific garment for ihram, namely the izaar (lower garment or waist wrapper) and rida (upper garment). These are two un-stiched and clean pieces of white cloth. He should not wear a thobe or pants or headgear or burnoose or khufoof (leather slippers).
___*PAGE 4*___.
✍️...

*Ihraam for Women*:
There is no specific garment for ihram in the case of women; rather a woman may wear whatever she wants, except that she should not wear the niqaab or gloves. The niqaab is that which is worn over the face, in which there is a hole for the eyes; the gloves are that which is worn on the hands.

After putting on ihraam garments pray the obligatory prayer if that is at the time of an obligatory prayer, otherwise they should pray two rakahs with the intention of the Sunnah prayer of wudoo.

When the pilgrim has finished praying he should face the qiblah and enter ihraam. He may delay ihraam until he has boarded his means of transportation, and is ready to move off, but he should enter ihraam before he leaves the meeqaat for Makkah.

When the pilgrim comes by sea or by air, the flight captain will announce approach to meeqat so that the pilgrims can enter the Ihram. It is permissible for the pilgrim to put on his Ihram garments at home in his own country.

*Hajj Intention and Talbiyah*

On reaching the meeqat, keeping the intention for the Umrah or the type of Hajj in mind (including on who's behalf Hajj is performed if done on someone else's behalf).

Then if he is doing Tamattu, he should say, Labbayk Allaahumma bi Umrah (Here I am, O Allaah, for Umrah).

If he is doing Qiraan, he should say, Labbayk Allaahumma bi Hijjah wa Umrah (Here I am, O Allaah, for Hajj and Umrah).
___*PAGE 7*___.
✍️...

If he is doing Ifraad, he should say, Labbayk Allaahumma Hajjan (Here I am, O Allaah, for Hajj).

Then he should say, Allaahumma haadhihi hijjah laa riyaaa fiha wa la sumah (O Allaah, this is a pilgrimage in which there is no showing off or seeking reputation).

Then he should recite the Talbiyah as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did: Labbayka Allaahumma labbayk, labbayka laa shareeka laka labbayk. Inna al-hamd wal-nimata laka wal-mulk, laa shareeka lak (Here I am, O Allaah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner).
___*PAGE 8*___.
✍️...

Men should raise their voices when saying this, but a woman should recite in such a manner that those who are beside her can hear it, unless there is a man beside her who is not one of her mahrams, in which case she should recite it silently. The muhrim (person who has entered ihraam) should recite the Talbiyah a great deal, especially when circumstances and times change, such as when going up to a high place or going down to a low place, or when night or day begin.
___*PAGE 9*___.
✍️...

After that he should ask Allaah for His good pleasure and for Paradise, and seek refuge in His Mercy from the Fire.

The Talbiyah is prescribed in Umrah from the moment one enters ihraam until one starts Tawaaf. In Hajj it is prescribed from the moment one enters ihraam until one stones Jamarat al-Aqabah on the day of Eid.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
