*_DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER_*
Yaum al-ithnayn | 15th day of Dhul-Ḥijjah, 1447 AH | Monday, 1st June, 2026.
*_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AL-INFITAR (Qur’an 82) WITH CONTEXT / HISTORICAL BACKGROUND continues_*. BismilLah.
Let's continue with our studies of suurah Al-Infitar with Verse-by-Verse Meanings & Commentary
Verse 1:
إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انفَطَرَتْ
When the sky is cleft asunder. The suurah begins with a vivid apocalyptic image. The “splitting of the sky” symbolizes the end of the current world order. It reminds us that nothing is permanent and the Day of Judgment is inevitable.
Verse 2:
وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ
And when the stars are scattered.
Stars, which seem fixed and eternal, will be dispersed. This reminds humans of their limited understanding and the transient nature of the material universe.
Verse 3:
وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ
And when the seas are erupted.
The oceans will overflow and reveal the immense power of ALLAH Azzawajal. It serves as a metaphor for the upheaval and chaos that will occur on the Day of Judgment.
Verse 4:
وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ
And when the graves are scattered.
Human beings will rise from their graves for accountability. It emphasizes the certainty of resurrection and the justice of ALLAH Azzawajal. To be continued tomorrow in shaaALLAH.
*_We ask ALLAH Azzawajal to keep guiding our hearts, protecting our Eemaan from every satanic influence, and granting us sincerity in worship until we meet HIM_*. Aameen.
