If as a Muslim you claim to be following our beloved Messenger of ALLAH, it means a confession with your tongue and a heartfelt belief, which means that you testify none has the right to be followed
after ALLAH, but the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) as
he is the Last of HIS Messengers. As ALLAH says in the Qur’an:
“Muhammad is not the father of any man
amongst you but he is the Messenger of ALLAH and the (last, the seal, end) of the Prophets and ALLAH is Ever All-Aware of everything.”
(QUR'AN 33:40). This basically means even the children of the Prophet have to follow him as a Messenger of ALLAH not only as a father to them. ALLAH says “And whatsoever the Messenger Muhammad gives you, take it and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain
from it.” (QUR'AN 59:7).
And ALLAH said: “Say (O Muhammad) (to mankind) ‘if you (really)
love ALLAH, then follow me’.” (QUR'AN 3:31). Allahu Akbar. Whatever we do as Muslims religiously we must ask ourselves, is it within the teachings of ALLAH and HIS Messenger? If yes Maa shaa ALLAH and if no then ignore it.
*_May ALLAH aid us to worship HIM with knowledge and sincerity_*. Aameen.
