[Friday Sermon] Do Not Be Discourage, Do Not Be Weaken And Do Not Grieve; You Will Be Victorious If You Are [True] Believers!!!

[Friday Sermon] Do Not Be Discourage, Do Not Be Weaken And Do Not Grieve; You Will Be Victorious If You Are [True] Believers!!! By Imam Murtadha Gusau In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful All thanks and praise is due to Allah, we seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil within ourselves and the consequences of our evil deeds. Whoever Allah guides will never be led astray, and whomever Allah leads astray will never find guidance. I bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah, alone without any partners, and I bear witness that Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is His servant and Messenger. Verily, the most truthful speech is the Book of Allah, the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and the worst affairs are the newly invented matters (in the religion). Every newly invented matter (in the religion) is a religious innovation, and every religious innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the

HAD I BUT KNOWN

⏳HAD I BUT KNOWN Anfal, a rich young girl, sat waiting impatiently at the doctor’s clinic to get the results of a medical test. She was in a hurry to attend a party and feared she might be late for her appointment with the hairdresser. She never thought the result would be anything important. It was just a precaution insisted upon by her family. She had never suffered any serious illness, apart from the odd ache in her limbs. Then, it was her turn to see the doctor. She hurried inside to get it over with as quickly as possible. She was surprised to see the doctor look sad and concerned as he asked, “Is this yours?” She answered, “No, it is my daughter’s.” She wanted to know the truth and thought that perhaps he would hide the truth, if she told him it was her own. He asked her to have a seat, so she sat feeling somewhat afraid. She looked at him anxiously, as he said,”Why did not you send a man to get the results?” Anfal said, “It was on my way so there was no need to send someone els

The Glance of Love

❤The Glance of Love Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “ The pious offspring who casts a single look of affection at his parents receives a reward from Allah equal to the reward of an accepted Hajj.” The people enquired: “O Prophet of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), if someone casts a hundred such glances of love and affection at his parents, what then?” The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “ Yes, indeed, even if one does so a hundred times a day, he will get a hundred fold reward. Allah is far greater than you imagine and is completely free from petty narrow mindedness.” (Sahih Muslim) Love your parents and consider this act as a privilege and a source of reward in the eternal world. How much parents love their children, how much they happily sacrifice for them, and how much they want their child to be more privileged than they are, can only be understood when a person becomes a parent themself.  ﷽ *Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar).* Excellent Biography of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Episode 110 *THE OBSERVATIONS OF THE NOBLE QUR'AN ON THE BATTLE OF UHUD* Some Qur’ânic verses were revealed to shed light on the most decisive phases of the battle  successively, adduce quite clearly the cause that led to that heavy loss, and illustrate the vulnerable areas that were still persisting in the souls of some believers as regards their duties in forging a decisive attitude with respect to the noble objectives for which the Muslim Community, was created and was supposed to accomplish.  The Noble Qur’ân also spoke about the attitude of the pretenders to Faith and made clear the  hostility and hatred that they harboured against Allâh and His Messenger. The Words of Allâh  managed as well to erase all traces of ambiguities and insinuations, raised by the hypocrites and  their allies, the Jews — the authors of conspiracy and intrigue hatching — and which were still in  active operation i

HOW TO REPAIR OUR WEAK RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR CREATOR

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 27th Jumaadal Uulaa. (Friday, 31st of December 2021). *_HOW TO REPAIR OUR WEAK RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR CREATOR_*. BismilLah.  The most effective way is to learn or study the Qur'an. Recite it regularly and ponder on the meanings. Tranquillity then descends, and our hearts become soft and re-establish its connection to it Creator. To get optimum benefits, remind yourself that ALLAH is speaking to you in the Quran. People are described in different categories in the Quran; think of which one you find yourself in. If you can't recite or understand the Quran, please  start learning how to recite it. You should also try listening to tafseer regularly to know what your creator wants from you and for you.  Realize the greatness of ALLAH. Whatever is happening to you, good or bad, is by the permission of ALLAH as a trial or test on your  eemaan. Everything is under HIS control. There are signs in everything we see that point to us to HIS greatn

What Are You Striving for: Dunya or Akhirah?

What Are You Striving for: Dunya or Akhirah? Many of us seem to spend an incredible amount of time and energy chasing the dream job. Afterall, a bigger paycheck often translates into a better car, a bigger house and a higher worldly social status. What Are You Striving for: Dunya or Akhirah? But we are warned about this in The Qur’an: “Rivalry in worldly increase distracts you (from the remembrance of Allaah), till you come to the graves” (102: 1-2). “Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allaah has with Him a great reward.” (64:15). Ever think of the results of all of your worldy efforts? ”It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.” (79:46) Lavish homes and fancy vacations are temporary worldy fixes whereas dedicating time and effort into something that lasts an eternity make more sense, doesn’t it? Have you ever stopped for a minute and considered building a house for yourself in Jannah

THE BEST INSURANCE

THE BEST INSURANCE The Prophet (Sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said in the hadith of Ibn Abbas, “ If you take care of the commands of Allah, Allah will take care of you (and you will find Allah with you).”Tirmizi Shareef Hadith No. 2516 How does that happen? Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali explains the hadith: 1⃣ If you take care of Allah’s commands and prohibitions, Allah will take care of you by keeping you away from vain desires and doubts in Imaan (Belief); 2⃣ If you take care of the commands of Allah when you are young, Allah will take care of you in your old age; 3⃣If you take care of the commands of Allah, Allah will take care of your children. As an example of the last point Ibn Rajab gave the story of Musa and al-Khidr. Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) says in the Quran, “ Then they both (Musa and al-Khidr) proceeded, till, when they came to the people of a town, they asked them for food, but they refused to entertain them. Then they found therein a wall about to collapse and he (Khidr) set it u

They might regret and decide to invade Madinah as a compensation. Therefore the Messenger of Allâh (Peace be upon him) was determined to go out in pursuit of the Makkan army.  The Prophet (Peace be upon him) called out unto people and ordered them to march to encounter the enemy of Islam. That was on Sunday morning — next day to Uhud — the eighth of Shawwal. The youths, especially, bonded with him, and they often sought his help with their problems—from parental control to dating or even sex and music addictions. At class, people knew Mus'ab as the only “practicing” Muslim. When it's time for Salaah, He would just walk out to masjid even when the lecture is going on, Mus'ab don't shake hands with ladies and most of them knew to keep their distance. He was quite the handsome fella though; when he entered the class some of the ladies would nudge each other and whisper and giggle almost childishly. A few of them even wore revealing clothes and acted flirtatiously with him just to tease him. But his faith kept him resistant; he’d often explain to them the eti
