_The call of nature_

Relieving oneself when pressed is not something that requires explanation  as we all have better experience of it..

The call of nature is one in which you have no other choice but to answer to..

Otherwise, you are faced with devastating side effects..  Bladder issues and infections or even the intestines if you continuously delay answering to this call..

The damage doesn't happen immediately for the first time...

But continuous or rather consistent deliberate delay brings about this health challenges..

But look at the satisfaction derived after responding to this call..

Only one who does it can explain..

Similarly..

You may not see the damage not responding to the call to prayer on time does to your soul..

Deliberately delaying prayer when you hear the call does lots of damage to your soul..

If you want to live a healthy life physically and spiritually..

Respond to the call of nature at the time when due without delay..

You cannot be worried about your bladder and intestines but ignore the damage you do to your soul..

You run to relieve yourself when you didn't do it at the right time..

When the prayer is called, go to it on time so you don't need to run when trouble comes..

Salaamun alaikum,

Thirst can only be quenched with ease by drinking a fresh water..

No matter how much of soft drink you take, May be your thirst will be minimised but definitely not quenched..

Sea/salt water on the other hand is even worse, it will only increase your thirst..

Our desires are like thirst..

Giving in to our desires by committing sins just to minimise it is like consuming salt water to quench this thirst..

We will never have enough..

Until one drowns in it..

Conscience/guilt is like an alarm system..

Telling us we are crossing limit..

Sins DON'T quench thirst.. Guilt is an indication that you still have some imaan left..

Don't deactivate this alarm system and drown yourself in salt water.

Having desires is not the issue..  We can continually improve to discipline it..

It is a fight We must never give up on, sometimes we loose, sometimes we win..

May Allah azza wa jaal forgive our shortcomings and increase us in consciousness. Aameen Aameen

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
