EID-UL-FITR is celebrated on the first day of Shaw'waal, at the completion of RAMADHAN which is likely to be Sunday or Monday subject to moon sightings tonight or not in Shaa ALLAH. Shaw'waal is the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. The Eid-al-Fitr is a very joyous day; it is a true Thanksgiving Day for the believing men and women. On this day we Muslims show our real joy for the health, strength and the opportunities of life, which ALLAH has given to us to fulfill our obligation of fasting and other good deeds during the blessed month of Ramadhan. 


On the eid day please wake up early. 

Prepare for personal cleanliness, take care of details of clothing, etc. Take a Ghusl (Islamic bath). Brush your teeth. Dress up, putting on best clothes available, whether new or cleaned old ones. Use perfume (men only). Have breakfast before the salaat. Pay your Zakaat-al-Fitr before Salaat-al-Eid, meaning you can offer it from today or early morning before the Eid salaat else after Eid, it's not considered zakaatul fitir. 


Eidul Fitir in advance. *_May ALLAH accept our ibaadaat (acts of worship)_*. Aameen.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
