*DESCRIPTION OF PARADISE*

*Strive For It*

Allah ﷻ says

*مَّثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِى وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ*

_The description of the Paradise which those who have Taqwa have been promised_

meaning its description and qualities;

*تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَـرُ*

_Underneath it rivers flow,_

these rivers flow in the various parts and grades of Paradise and wherever its people wish they flow and gush forth for them.

*أُكُلُهَا دَآئِمٌ وِظِلُّهَا*

_its provision is eternal and so is its shade_

[13:35]

for Paradise has foods, fruits and drinks that never end or finish. It is recorded in the Two Sahihs that Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه narrated in the Hadith about the Eclipse prayer that the Companions said, "O Allah's Messenger! While you were standing in prayer we saw you reach for something with your hand and then you brought it back." The Messenger said, "I saw Paradise - or was shown Paradise - and reached for a cluster (of grapes or other fruit and had I kept it, you would have eaten from it as long as this life remains"

[Sahih Bukhari 1052]

This is as Allah ﷻ says

*وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَـلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلاً*

_And the shade thereof is close upon them, and the bunches of fruit thereof will hang low within reach._

[76:14]

Imam Ahmad mentions a Hadith in which Zayd Ibn Arqam رضي الله عنه narrates "A Man from Ahlul Kitaab came and said "O Abul-Qasim! You claim that the people of paradise eat and drink,"

The Prophet ﷺ replied _"Yes. By He in Whose Hand is Muhammad's life, a man among them will be given the strength of a hundred men in eating, drinking, sexual intercourse and appetite."_

That man asked, "He who eats and drinks needs to relieve the call of nature, but Paradise is pure from feces and urine"

The Prophet ﷺ said _"One of them (residents of Paradise) relieves the call of nature through a sweat that emanates from the skin, with the scent of musk, and the stomach becomes empty again."_

[Sahih Muslim]

Allah ﷻ ends the ayah:

*تِلْكَ عُقْبَى الَّذِيْنَ اتَّقَوا وَّ عُقْبَى الَكَافِرِيْنَ النَّارُ*

_this is the end of those who have Taqwa, and the end of the disbelievers is Fire._

[13:35]

It is a Jannah which we cannot Imagine!

And Had we seen it before its due time, it would have lost its allure!

And it is only earned through Taqwa!

So strive in the path of Allah ﷻ!

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
