Bismillah.  One of the most important acts of worship is fasting which is excellent for us spiritually and its healthy for us too. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH recommended us to fast on Mondays and Thursdays and also the 3 white days of each Islamic calendar which start tomorrow.  “Beed”  is the plural of “Abyad” which means white.
