THE EVIL NATURE OF HYPOCRISY

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Jumuat. 7th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1445AH (Friday, 22nd September, 2023). *_THE EVIL NATURE OF HYPOCRISY_*. BismilLah. 


The hypocrites have many characteristics, the worst and most serious of which is disbelief in ALLAH. ALLAH says: 

“And when it is said to them (hypocrites): Believe as the people (followers of Muhammad, Al-Ansaar and Al-Muhaajiroon) have believed,’ they say: ‘Shall we believe as the fools have believed?’ Verily, they are the fools, but they know not”[Quran 2:13].


Among their characteristics are enmity and envy (hasad) towards the believers, as ALLAH says 

“If good befalls you O Muhammad, it grieves them, but if a calamity overtakes you, they say: ‘We took our precaution beforehand’ and they turn away rejoicing” [Quran 9:50].


Among their characteristics is mockery of ALLAH, HIS Messenger and HIS religion. ALLAH says: 

“If you ask them (about this), they declare: ‘We were only talking idly and joking.’ Say: ‘Was it at ALLAH, and HIS Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and HIS Messenger that you were mocking? Make no excuse; you disbelieved after you had believed” Quran 9:65-66]. If we compare these incidence of the prophet time to our current times, we will notice that majority of our so called non Muslim friends are hypocrites. They pretend they like us but start talking about ALLAH, the Messenger and Quran and see how they mock us in our absence and even does so in front of us but we still follow them as closed companions to the extent of some of our sisters falling in love with them AstaqfirulLah. *_May ALLAH protect us from hypocrisy_*. Aameen.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
