"The Prophet (pbuh) used to practice Itikaf every single year. Until he left this world." 📚 Hadith No. 2026, Sahih Bukhari

Why?

Because he knew something we keep forgetting.

My People,

The Last Ten Nights? They are not normal nights. They are not like the first twenty days.

Something changes in the sky. Somewhere inside these dark nights is a night better than a thousand months.

Do you understand what that means?

Let me break it down:

One thousand months = more than 83 years.

83 years of worship.

If you pray on Laylatul Qadr, it is like you worshipped Allah (swt) for 83 years straight.

Think about your life. How old are you? 20? 30? 40? 50 or more?

One night can give you more good deeds than your entire life could ever earn.

But here is the catch:

You don't know which night it is.

It is hidden. It moves. It could be the 21st night. Or the 23rd. Or the 25th. Or the 27th. Or the 29th.

So how do you make sure you catch it?

How do you guarantee you don't miss the biggest night of the year?

The Answer:

Itikaf.

Think about that.

When you sit in Itikaf, something amazing happens:

You cannot miss Laylatul Qadr.

You are right there. Waiting for it. Ready for it.

You are inside the house of Allah when the angels come down.

You are there when the peace fills the mosque.

My Brothers, My Sisters

This year, be the one who does it.

Not your friend. Not your cousin. Not the guy at the mosque who is "very religious."

You.

This is your chance.

You don't need to be perfect to do Itikaf. You just need to show up.

The mosque will be quiet. The angels will be circling. The mercy will be pouring down.

And you will be there.

But Wait — A Warning (So You Don't Waste It)

We need to be very careful.

If you do Itikaf, you must protect it.

Because the shaitan does not want you to succeed. He will try everything to ruin your Itikaf. He will make things seem normal that are actually dangerous.

Here is what breaks your Itikaf or ruins its beauty:

Continuation of the previous episodes:

(6) Arguing

Do not argue with anyone. Not about politics. Not about sports. Not about business. Not about who is right and who is wrong.

Faith-based discussions are okay if done calmly. But no fighting. No raised voices. No anger.

(7) Any Sinful Act — Big or Small

This is not the time for "small sins."

No backbiting. No gossip. No lying. No looking at things you shouldn't look at.

(8) Business Transactions

Do not buy or sell anything while in Itikaf.

No checking prices. No thinking about work. No planning your business deals.

(9) Listening to News or Watching TV

No radio news. No BBC. No VOA. No TV.

The news will still be there after Eid. The world will still be fighting and arguing after ten days.

But these ten nights? They will not wait for you.

(10) Chatting on Phone with Friends or Family

This is a big one.

You are in the house of Allah (swt). Do not sit there texting people. Keep Your Phone at Home. Yes. The best advice: Leave your phone at home.

Or turn it off completely and hide it in your bag.

Do not bring it into the prayer area. Do not check it "just for a minute."

That one minute becomes one hour. That one hour steals the blessing of your Itikaf.

What if you cannot observe Itikaf for unavoidable reasons? Can you still catch the goodies in the last 10 nights?

Answer:

Yes.

How?

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
