 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-khamis. 13th day of RAJAB (Thursday 25th February 2021). *_SEEKING GUIDANCE IN ALL WE DO_*. Bismillah. ALLAH, the Exalted, thought us a powerful dua in the Qur’an which is; _رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَاماً_ Our Lord Bestow on us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us an Imaam (leader/guide) for the pious (Muttaqoon)*. That's one of the best duas for married couple to be reciting. *(Rabbanaa hab lanaa min azwaajinaa wa dhurriyaatinaa qurrata a`ayunin wa’j`alnaa li’l muttaqiina imaama)” [Qur’an, 25:74]. ALLAH is teaching us how to seek guidance in all we do. If we do things with intentions to please ALLAH, we will never regret our act as ALLAH will guide us through. [Watch the video] __ Allah ﷻ says about mankind *يَقُوْلُ يٰلَيْتَنِى قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِى*   _Man will say "Ah! Would it had been that I had sent forth my life"_ [89:24] Your life is short Wallah.  It is like the time between the Adhaan and the Salah. Because the Adhaan is read over you when you are born. (Note: There's difference of opinion regarding the authenticity of the hadith regarding giving adhan to a newborn baby) All that's left is the Salah that will be prayed over you when you leave this world. _ But you need to reflect,  Have I, as a Mu'min done enough? Have I, as part of the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ done enough?  Have I done enough to earn the pleasure of Allah ﷻ, the mercy of Allah ﷻ so that I can enter Jannah? Prevent yourself from regretting on a Day when no regret will help

 *REFLECTIONS*                       Ibn Qayyim رحمه الله “Gratitude is to display the effects of the blessings of Allāh ﷻ upon the tongue by way of praise and acknowledgement; in the heart by way of witnessing and love; and upon the limbs by way of submission and obedience.”  [Madārij As-Sālikīn | 2/244]  The Prophet ﷺ said, ‘A man giving a dirham as sadaqah [charity] during his life is better than giving one hundred dirhams as charity at the moment of his death.’ [Abu Dawood]                                       

 *SIGNS OF QAYAMAT*  Read this you will be astonished to know how near we are to the last day..  The Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) foretold 72 signs that would appear near Doomsday:  1. People will leave prayer  2. People will usurp Ama'naat  3. Lying will become an art  4. There will be murders on the slightest of disagreements  5. Interest will become common  6. There will be very tall buildings  7. People will sell Religion for the world  8. People will treat relatives badly  9. Justice will become a rarity  10. Lies will be considered truth  11. Clothes will be of silk  12. Persecution will become common  13. Divorces will become common  14. Sudden deaths will increase  15. The usurper of Ama'naat will be considered honest and honourable  16. The keeper of Am'naat will be called an usurper of things given to him for safekeeping  17.  *Do Not Wish for the Things which Allah has Made Some Others to Excel.... Ask Allah....4.32* *وَلَا تَتَمَنَّوۡا مَا فَضَّلَ اللّٰهُ بِهٖ بَعۡضَكُمۡ عَلٰى بَعۡضٍ​ ؕ لِلرِّجَالِ نَصِيۡبٌ مِّمَّا اكۡتَسَبُوۡا ؕ​ وَلِلنِّسَآءِ نَصِيۡبٌ مِّمَّا اكۡتَسَبۡنَ​ ؕ وَسۡئَـلُوا اللّٰهَ مِنۡ فَضۡلِهٖ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عَلِيۡمًا‏*   *(4:32) Do not covet what Allah has conferred more abundantly on some of you than others.* *Men shall have a share according to what they have earned, and women shall have a share according to what they have earned.  *ARE YOU ANGRY?* The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,  "Do not be angry." [Muwatta 1646] It should be noted that in the sharh of Muwatta by az-Zurqani there is a distinction made between two kinds of anger:  1) Getting angry about wordly matters. One should not get angry about those things which cause them anger. This is what the hadith is referring to and is hated. 2) Responding angrily regarding religious matters. Such as the people of falsehood (e.g. when they invent new lies against the Prophet ﷺ). This recommended and may be even obligatory. Meaning getting angry about things regarding the deen is not always seen as a bad behaviour unlike many people who claim it is. Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that  He (may Allah bestow peace and blessings upon him) said,  “A gold coin spent in the path of Allah,  a gold coin spent freeing a slave, a gold coin given in charity to the poor,  a gold coin spent upon your family;  the greatest reward is that which is
