 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 30th day of Dhul-Hijjah, 1444AH (Tuesday, 18th July, 2023). *_SO CALLED CHEATING WITHIN MARRIAGE_*. BismilLah.  For a husband or wife to form an illicit relationship with a non-mahram or non relative is not just cheating on his wife or husband, it is a sin against his own soul and an act of disobedience towards his Lord. ALLAAH has forbidden such relationships and has barred the ways that may lead to the greater form of immorality which is adultery (unlawful sexual relationships with someone other than our legal spouse). The forbidden acts which people commit when they have such relationships are many and include being alone with that person (khulwah), shaking hands with them, looking at them, etc. These are sins which are forbidden in the texts in and of themselves, and because of the sin of zina to which they may lead. Let's fear ALLAH and the day we die in such relationship. It's a major risk to take towards our grave. We can

It was reported to Umar that Saad had constructed a palace, and had provided a door which could be shut at his option. The orders of Umar were that where the Governors sat to meet the people or attend to their complaints there should be no door so that all people could have access to the Governor at all times. Umar deputed Muhammad bin Masalma to hold an enquiry on the spot and if he found that a door had in fact been constructed it should be burnt. The concensus of opinion was: “He is a good man, but he has some pride and haughtiness about him, and he has constructed a double storeyed house for himself, while the houses of all other Muslims are single storeyed." Umar deputed an agent to verify whether Abdullah had in fact built a double storeyed house. The agent was further instructed that if the house was in fact double storeyed the door on the upperstorey should be burnt as indicative of the displeasure of the Caliph. Umar prevailed upon him to take back his resignation but Umair said that his decision was irrevocable. Umair took leave of the Caliph, and retired to his village which was a few miles from Madina. Umar was surprised at the behaviour of Umair. He thought that Umair had affected such austerity to cover up the misappropriation of revenues. BismilLah.  If you desire happiness, then seek out knowledge and apply the knowledge, and you will find that anxiety, depression, and grief will leave you." Let's avoid committing sins bcs sins only damage our relationship with ALLAH. Ibn Al-Qayyim ALLAH be pleased with him said "Sins remove the feeling of shame from a person so much so that the sinner finally doesn't care if people see him sinning or not." Open sins are worse than sins in hidden but note that fearing ALLAH in secrete is worth and more beloved to ALLAH. Let's strive to seek knowledge of our deen and apply it in our daily ways of life. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in the Holy Qur'an chapter 3 verse 103 going that; وَاعْتَصِمُواْ بِحَبْلِ اللّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَاذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتَ اللّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَاء فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىَ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ. And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of ALLAH (i.e. this Qur'an), and be not divided among yourselves, and remember ALLAH'S Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but HE joined your hearts together, so that, by HIS Grace, you became brethren (in Islamic Faith), and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and HE saved you from it.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 27th day of Dhul-Hijjah, 1444AH (Saturday, 15th July, 2023). *_ISLAMIC TEACHINGS ON HOW TO TREAT OUR RELATIVES_*. BismilLahir Rahmanir Raheem. Islam gives great importance to the bonds of kinship and rights of relatives. ALLAH command us in the holy Qur’an to that at least 12 times in different verses. I will mention just a few. Aayah 90 of Surah Nahl says: “ALLAH enjoins justice, generosity and kind treatment with relatives…”   The third thing which has been enjoined is good treatment with one’s relatives. It means that one should not only treat relatives well, share their sorrows and pleasure and help them within lawful limits but should also share one’s wealth with them along with the rights of parents and immediate family. The Prophet (Sallallaahu Alaihi wasallam ) has emphasized this fact in many Traditions.
