DON'T BLAME ANYONE FOR YOUR MISFORTUNE

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 27th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Tuesday, 9th January 2024). *_DON'T BLAME ANYONE FOR YOUR MISFORTUNE_*. BismilLah.

Islam teaches us to take responsibility for our actions and our situation without blaming others. Blaming others is so often used as an excuse to avoid necessary introspection and self-improvement.

Abu Dharr may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said that ALLAH the Exalted said:

يَا عِبَادِي إِنَّمَا هِيَ أَعْمَالُكُمْ أُحْصِيهَا لَكُمْ ثُمَّ أُوَفِّيكُمْ إِيَّاهَا فَمَنْ وَجَدَ خَيْرًا فَلْيَحْمَدْ اللَّهَ وَمَنْ وَجَدَ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَلَا يَلُومَنَّ إِلَّا نَفْسَهُ

O my servants, it is only your deeds that I record for you and then recompense for you, so let him who finds good praise ALLAH and let him who finds other than that blame no one but himself. Sahih Muslim 2577.

Ibn Rajab may ALLAH be pleased with him comments on this tradition, saying:

وَيَكُونُ مَأْمُورًا بِلَوْمِ نَفْسِهِ عَلَى مَا فَعَلَتْ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ الَّتِي وَجَدَ عَاقِبَتَهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا

The believer has been commanded to blame himself for the sins he committed for which he is punished in the world. Jami’ Al-Ulum wal Hikam 2/53.

Evil exists due to the choices people make. Whenever something bad happens to us, even if it apparently comes from others, it has only been decreed by ALLAH as a trial or a punishment because of our sins.

ALLAH says:

Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by what the hands of people have earned, so HE may let them taste part of what they have done that perhaps they will return. Surat Ar-Rum 30:41

And ALLAH says:

Whatever disaster strikes you is for what your hands have earned, yet HE pardons much. Surat Ash-Shura 42:30

In fact, we must expect such trials and prepare for them by strengthening our faith and developing the quality of patience. ALLAH promises us that such trials are coming.

ALLAH said:

Do people think that they will be left to say we believe, and they will not be tried?

Surat Al-Ankabut 29:2.

Therefore, the correct course of action is not to blame others for the trials decreed by ALLAH, but rather to respond to trials with humility. We must understand that trials are sent to test our faith and bring us back to the straight path, whereas Satan tempts us to react to trials with arrogance, pride,  and complaints against others. *_May ALLAH keep guiding us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

The questions of the grave?

The questions of the grave? Alhamdulillah, every Muslim should have belief that there is questions in the grave. As reported in hadith of the trials of the grave like that of the dajjal Two angels that will appear to. Person, Munkar and Nakir As reported in hadith, It was narrated form Al Bara bin Azib that the Prophet said: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the world that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter. This was revelated concerning the torment in the grave. It will be said to him (the deceased: 'Who is your Lord?' and he will say: 'My Lord isAllah and my Prophet is Muhammad. That is what is (the meaning of) His saying: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter". Sunan an-Nasa'i 2057. Abd Allah (b. Mas’ud) told that when the evening came, the prophet (May peace be upon him) would say: we have come to the evening, and in the evening the dominion belongs to Allah: “Praise b...

As Time passes

╔✽̤̥̈̊‎ As Time passes ✽̤̈̊╗ Abdullah bin Mas’ud & said: “Indeed I hate to see a man idle, neither working for this world nor for the Hereafter.”  Hasan Basri sé said: “O son of Adam, indeed you are only but a number of days.
