FRIDAY KHUTBAH (SERMON)

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Jumuat. 23rd day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Friday, 5th January 2024). *_FRIDAY KHUTBAH (SERMON)_*. BismilLah.

Islam teaches us that ALLAH is the most forgiving,  and will go on forgiving, repeatedly as long as we seek forgiveness sincerely. Part of being human is making mistakes. Sometimes, the mistakes are made without deliberation or a bad intention, but sometimes we knowingly and deliberately sin and do wrong to others. Therefore, as human beings, we are constantly in need of forgiveness.

The life of this world is full of trials and tribulations,  however ALLAH did not abandon humankind to these tests and trials. ALLAH equipped humankind with an intellect and the ability to make choices and decisions. ALLAH also gave us words of guidance.  As our CREATOR, HE is well aware of our nature and eager to guide us on the straight path that leads to eternal bliss.

The Quran is ALLAH’s final revelation, and it is applicable for all of humankind; all people, all places, all times.  Throughout the Quran ALLAH, The Most MERCIFUL continually asks us to turn to HIM in repentance and ask for HIS forgiveness.  This is the road to salvation.  This is our rescue from destruction.

ALLAH says;

“And whoever does evil or wrongs himself but afterwards seeks God's forgiveness, he will find God Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Quran 4:10).

Again, ALLAH commanded the Prophet  to say to mankind;

“O my people!  Ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to HIM, HE will send you (from the sky) abundant rain, and add strength to your strength, so do not turn away as criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of God.” (Quran 11:52).

Again, The Maintainer of Life (Al-qayyuum) commanded the prophet to deliver this beautiful message to us in the Quran;

“Say: ‘O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)!  Despair not of the MERCY of ALLAH your LORD, indeed ALLAH forgives ALL SINS. Truly, HE is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Quran 39:53). ALLAHU AKBAR. AlhamdulilLah.

*_May ALLAH (Al-Haadi, The Guide) keep guiding us all and protect us from deviation_*. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

Friday and it's dignity.

 Friday and it's dignity. O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. Friday is the best day of the week because it was the day Adam was created, the day he entered paradise and the day he was removed from paradise. it was also the day he died and the hour(qiyaamah) will not come except on this day. Sahih. It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever washes (ghassala) and performs ghusl, comes early to the masjid and sits near the imam and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and...

The story of taqwa

 The story of taqwa. Taqwa means fear of Allah. There once lived a young woman who was very beautiful lady and had all the qualities a man needed. She was well covered and oneday ,she was attacked with her families. This woman was taken away and brought to a man who was the bandits leader. As she was brought, the man wanted to sleep with her as she was so sad and in pain. As she undressed and coming to her, she said fear Allah and know death can come to you now. If you have a mother or sister like me, don't disgrace and destroy my honor for I won't forgive you  The leader immediately remembered he had a sister he loved a lot and so he quickly stopped and dressed and said to the lady, you can go. All the bandits were amazed of what their leader did. Three days later,the man whose sister was there and everyone in the sister knew her brother was wicked man. So every man was sacred.
