FORGIVING OTHERS IS A BLESSINGS FOR OURSELVES

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 18th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Tuesday, 30th January 2024). *_FORGIVING OTHERS IS A BLESSINGS FOR OURSELVES_*. BismilLah.

Can anyone reading this reminder claim he or she does not make mistakes and fall short and does not wrong other people or transgress their rights to some extent? Each of us would like people to forgive us for all the wrongs we have done to them, isn't it?, so why wouldn't you forgive others who wrong you? Anyway, listen to what our Creator ALLAH may HE be exalted says in HIS Book, the Quran to forgive people and be patient with their annoyance:

“If [instead] you show some good or conceal it or pardon an offence, indeed, ALLAH is ever Pardoning and Competent”

[an-Nisaa’ 4:149]. Again, ALLAH says

“And whoever is patient and forgives, indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination”[ash-Shoora 42:43]. Again

“But if you pardon and overlook and forgive, then indeed, ALLAH is Forgiving and Merciful”[at-Taghaabun 64:14]. There are so many such verses.

This is something that is also mentioned a great deal in the Sunnah. Saheeh Muslim (4689) narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of ALLAH (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) said: “Charity does not decrease wealth. No one forgives, but ALLAH increases him in honour, and no one humbles himself before ALLAH, but ALLAH raises him in status.” ALLAHU AKBAR. From the few stated above, would you not want to just pardon whoever has wronged you in any way NOW? Just act now, and at least text whoever you know who has wronged you that you've forgiven him or her hoping for ALLAH to forgive you too and cause others to forgive you also. For me, from the bottom of my heart, I've forgiven whoever has wronged me in any way and seek forgiveness from whoever I've wronged. Of course, not just texting but should be from your heart too and mention it to ALLAH.  *_May ALLAH accept it from us all and forgive our shortcomings_*. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

As Time passes
