WHAT IS THE WISDOM BEHIND TAWAAF (circumambulating) THE KAABA?

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 6th day of Rajab, 1445AH (Thursday, 18th January 2024). *_WHAT IS THE WISDOM BEHIND TAWAAF (circumambulating) THE KAABA?_* BismilLaah.

As Muslims, we don't do anything as we wish. We follow the commands of ALLAH (As-Sabur, The Patient), the Creator, HIS Messenger, or consensus of scholars based on Qur'an and Sunnah. Even how to sleep, drink, eat, talk, walk, etc, must be in accordance with Sunnah. Similarly, Circumambulating the Kaaba is part of the command of ALLAH (Al-‘Afuww, The Pardoner, The Effacer of Sins) through HIS Messenger and it represents the idea of oneness. The meaning regarding the social life is not to leave unity and to try to maintain this unity regardless of our status, colour, nationality, etc. The Prophet did it, and we must do it because  we know the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam did nothing other than what ALLAH, The CREATOR  commanded him to do

ALLAH Almighty states the following in the Quran: "The seven heavens and the earth, and all beings therein, declare HIS glory: there is not a thing but celebrates HIS praise; and yet ye understand not how they declare HIS glory...". (al-Isra, 44).

The advancement in science has helped explain that verse. As a matter of fact, including the beings that had been thought to be lifeless, everything was found to consist of atoms. The electrons around the nuclei of the atoms rotate continuously and regularly around the nucleus; it was expressed as declaring the glory of ALLAH in the Quran. Therefore, to rotate around the Kaaba, which is the symbol of Islam, means to love Islam, to rotate around it like a moth, and to attach oneself to ALLAH (ArRazzaaq, The Provider ).

Worshipping is fulfilling the duties like takbir(glorifying Him), hamd(Praising Him), and shukr(Thanking Him) by a slave for ALLAH in the way that HE orders. Therefore, the fulfilling of the duties by each being can be said to be their worshipping and glorifying ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, Mighty and the Majestic).

Tawaf basically means to turn, walk, etc. around something. Everything in the universe, from the tiny atoms to huge galaxies, is in a state of tawaf. ALLAHU AKBAR*_May ALLAH keep guiding us all and grant us understanding of the deen_*. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

As reported in hadith of the trials of the grave like that of the dajjal Two angels that will appear to. Person, Munkar and Nakir As reported in hadith, It was narrated form Al Bara bin Azib that the Prophet said: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the world that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter. This was revelated concerning the torment in the grave. It will be said to him (the deceased: 'Who is your Lord?' and he will say: 'My Lord isAllah and my Prophet is Muhammad. That is what is (the meaning of) His saying: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter". Sunan an-Nasa'i 2057. Abd Allah (b. Mas’ud) told that when the evening came, the prophet (May peace be upon him) would say: we have come to the evening, and in the evening the dominion belongs to Allah: “Praise b...

As Time passes
