Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 95 and 96

Say (O Muhammad Blessings and Peace be upon him]): "Allah has spoken the truth; follow the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism, i.e. he used to worship Allah Alone), and he was not of Al-Mushrikun." (See V. 2:105) *COMMENTARY* The greater freedom of Islam in the matter of the ceremonial law, compared with the Mosaic Law, is not a reproach but a recommendation. We go back to an older source than Judaism, the institutions of Abraham. By common consent his Faith was sound, and he was certainly not a Pagan, a term contemptuously applied to the Arabs by the Jews. Verily, the first House (of worship) appointed for mankind was that at Bakkah (Makkah), full of blessing, and a guidance for Al-'A

THE REALITY OF DEATH AHEAD OF US

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 1st day of RAJAB (Tuesday 25th of February, 2020). *_THE REALITY OF DEATH AHEAD OF US_*. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: "Remember much, that which cuts off pleasure: Death, since no-one remembers it in times of difficulty, except that things are made easy for him, nor mentions it at times of ease, except that the affairs become constricted for him." Saheehul-Jaami’us Sagheer, no 1222. Many humans live the life of this world, seeking the best that it has to offer, while ignoring what lies ahead of us upon death. The adornment of this world are but temptations to distract us from the true purpose of our life and that we will indeed be responsible for all we do in this life. Let's note that Death is a harsh and fearful reality faced by everyone who lives. No one has the power to avoid it, nor does anyone around the dying person have the ability to pre

WHO IS A BIG GIRL?

WHO IS A BIG GIRL? The fact that different guys pick you up every Wednesday & friday night does not make you a big girl. The fact that you wear all the latest clothes in the market, does not make you a big girl. And of the fact that you uses the latest phone and different guys pay money into your account does not make you a big girl... It does not even make you smart! You are only eating up your FUTURE! THEN WHO IS A BIG GIRL?!.  A big girl is a girl with enough brain in her, not the one with more money. She is not the one who flirts with all the men around her. She is the girl who respects her relationship and marriage. She is never heard but seen. You know her by what she does, her behaviour speaks a lot about her. She is every man's queen, decently dressed... A big girl respects the value of womanhood... She carries herself with more dignity... Stop boasting about the number of men you've slept with my dear. Remember, cheap articles have more buyers.. Build yourse

BROTHERS AND SISTERS STAY AWAY FROM ZINA

BROTHERS AND SISTERS STAY AWAY FROM ZINA ● My Sisters and Brothers In Islam. Those who are falling into love for the first time, fall into love in a right way. Don't make the love that Allaah (SWT) creates in your heart a means for you to lose the love of Allaah. Don't replace the love of Allaah that is the real reason why you were created. But to express the love in a way which Allaah has not permitted you. Get married and seek permission of your parents. ● Zina is a very evil deed. It is the person who is not related to another one legally and not bound by marriage that they actually sleep together and they procreate and in a way in which Allaah has not allowed. ● The Prophet (SAW) said: "Zina is a terrible crime. Ibn Qayyim mentions so many problems with a person who commit zina. A person who commit zina(adultery) betrays the trust that Allaah has given him. Betrays the trust of his family, wife, of his children. He breaks the ties of kinship, he loses the Noor

﷽ *DU'Ā FROM THE GLORIOUS QUR-ĀN (24)* رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small. (Qur-ān 17:24) *Thought For The Day* No matter how lucky you are, you still need the help of others, at least to  bury you. May Allāh forgive us. Ameen

Let's Change Our MINDSET About MARRIAGE* *Episode 31

﷽ *Let's Change Our MINDSET About MARRIAGE* *Episode 31* *DIVORCING WOMEN IN THE STATE OF MENSES* I chose to talk about this topic today after receiving a question from a sister who got divorced in the state of menses. The fact about divorce when a woman is in the state of menses has been addressed by the shari'ah as follows: As far as divorcing a woman in a state of menses is concerned in islam, the majority of the scholars based on consensus have agreed that divorce in this state of menses does not count based on the following rulings. Shaykh Ibn Baaz said: Divorce of a menstruating woman does not count as such according to the more sound of the two scholarly opinions, which is contrary to the view of the majority. The majority of scholars think that it does count as such, but the correct scholarly view is that reflected in the fatwas of some of the Taabi’een and in the fatwa of Ibn ‘Umar. This is also the view favoured by Ibn al-Qayyim and a number of scholars wh

When he approached the Prophet (Blessings and Peace be upon him) and his Companions, he said: "This man coming over there belongs to a tribe which holds the sacrificial animals in high regard. Send them to him." After they sent them, he said: "No, these people should gain admittance to the Sacred House." Then he returned to Quraish and said: "I saw their cattle and camels, with objects hung around their necks and their humps bleeding. I suggest that they shouldn't be prevented from (entering the Holy Masjid)." 'Urwah Ibn Mas'ūd Ath-Thaqafy said: "This man (the Prophet) offered a wise proposal to you. So accept it and let me go to him." He we
