 ﷽ *Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 95:* قُلْ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ فَاتَّبِعُوا مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ Say (O Muhammad Blessings and Peace be upon him]): "Allah has spoken the truth; follow the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism, i.e. he used to worship Allah Alone), and he was not of Al-Mushrikun." (See V. 2:105) *COMMENTARY* The greater freedom of Islam in the matter of the ceremonial law, compared with the Mosaic Law, is not a reproach but a recommendation. We go back to an older source than Judaism, the institutions of Abraham. BROTHERS AND SISTERS STAY AWAY FROM ZINA ● My Sisters and Brothers In Islam. Those who are falling into love for the first time, fall into love in a right way. Don't make the love that Allaah (SWT) creates in your heart a means for you to lose the love of Allaah. Don't replace the love of Allaah that is the real reason why you were created. ﷽ *Let's Change Our MINDSET About MARRIAGE* *Episode 31* *DIVORCING WOMEN IN THE STATE OF MENSES* I chose to talk about this topic today after receiving a question from a sister who got divorced in the state of menses. The fact about divorce when a woman is in the state of menses has been addressed by the shari'ah as follows: As far as divorcing a woman in a state of menses is concerned in islam, the majority of the scholars based on consensus have agreed that divorce in this state of menses does not count based on the following rulings. Shaykh Ibn Baaz said: Divorce of a menstruating woman does not count as such according to the more sound of the two scholarly opinions, which is contrary to the view of the majority. The majority of scholars think that it does count as such, but the correct scholarly view is that reflected in the fatwas of some of the Taabi’een and in the fatwa of Ibn ‘Umar.
