 *Deepthinking 137* Assalamualaikum warhamatullah wabarakatuhu,  Been blessed with amazing parents is indeed a blessing.  It's a one-off opportunity..  If you are fortunate to have them you have them..  If you are unfortunate in this regard then you do not have anything to  do..   We have no say in deciding who our parents are..   But..   Surely, we have a say in who becomes the parent of our children ..  One of the rights of our children on us is  to choose for them the best of parent.  An advice from my teacher is;  "Look at your prospective spouse and ask yourself will he/she make a good parent for my child/children? If he/she was my parent, will I be proud to have him/her?" You need a husband/wife for sure.. But..  Your children need more than just that..  They need an outstanding father/mother..  ﷽ *Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar).* Excellent Biography of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Episode 107 *MUTILATION OF THE MARTYRS* That was the last attack made by the idolaters against the Prophet (Peace be upon him). Being almost certain of his death, the idolaters returned to their camp and started preparations to go back  to Makkah. Some of them involved themselves in mutilating the killed Muslims, and so did their  women. Women and men cut off the ears, the noses, the genitals of the martyrs. They even cut  open their bellies. Hind bin ‘Utbah — for instance — ripped open the liver of Hamzah and chewed it;  but finding it unpleasant, she spat it out. She even made the ears and noses of Muslims into anklets  and necklaces.  Two incidents occurred during the last hours of the fight. Which revealed for certain how far the  Muslims were ready to fight and sacrifice in the way of Allâh:  1. ﷽ *Today's First Hadīth is about the gate-keeper of Hell Fire!* حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ  سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، سَمِعَ عَطَاءً، يُخْبِرُ  عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صلى  الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ‏{‏وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ ‏}‏‏.‏  Narrated Yali:                         That he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) on the pulpit reciting:--  "They will cry: "O Malik!' ﷽  *Surah Ar-Rad, Verse 31:* وَلَوْ أَنَّ قُرْآنًا سُيِّرَتْ بِهِ الْجِبَالُ أَوْ قُطِّعَتْ بِهِ الْأَرْضُ أَوْ كُلِّمَ بِهِ الْمَوْتَىٰ بَل لِّلَّهِ الْأَمْرُ جَمِيعًا أَفَلَمْ يَيْأَسِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن لَّوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ لَهَدَى النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَلَا يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا تُصِيبُهُم بِمَا صَنَعُوا قَارِعَةٌ أَوْ تَحُلُّ قَرِيبًا مِّن دَارِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَ وَعْدُ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ And if there had been a Quran with which mountains could be moved (from their places), or the earth could be cloven asunder, or the dead could be made to speak (it would not have been other than this Quran). But the decision of all things is certainly with Allah. Have not then those who believe yet known that had Allah willed, He could have guided all mankind? And a disaster will not cease to strike those who disbelieve because of their (evil) deeds or it (i.e. the disaster) settle close to their homes, until the Promise of Allah comes to pass. BismilLah.  One of the beautiful nature of Islam is that no matter how much evil we become, if we turns sincerely to the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth (ALLAH), repenting and asking for forgiveness, the matter is over, we are forgiven, and not just that, the love of ALLAH SWT for us that was present before will all be back, because HE is al-Wadud, HE is the Loving One. And this is the mercy of ALLAH, Azza wa Jal,  The Mighty and the Majestic.  You remember the true story of a man who killed 100 human beings and he wanted to repent to ALLAH SWT but in the process of going to a town where he can meet good people and repent dies on his way but just bcs of his intention to repent ALLAH forgave him and he finally entered Jannat Allahu Akbar. So the point is and as mentioned in the Quran, the worst sins that ever committed
