'Don't you want to get married, Rabi'ah?' 'I do not want anything to distract me from your service,' I replied. 'Moreover, I don't have anything to give as mahr (dowry) to a wife nor any place where I can accommodate a wife.' The Prophet remained silent. When he saw me again he asked: 'Don't you want to get married, Rabi'ah?' I gave him the same reply as before. Left to myself again, I regretted what I had said and chided myself: 'Woe to you, Rabi'ah. By God, the Prophet knows better than you what is good for you in this world and the next and he also knows better than you what you possess. _____________*PAGE 2*_____________ ✍🏻..

PATIENCE IN SEEKING ALLAH'S MERCY AND FORGIVENESS

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a. 28th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Thursday 22nd December. 2022). *_PATIENCE IN SEEKING ALLAH'S MERCY AND FORGIVENESS_*. Bismillah. ALLAH tells us, and reinforces it with an oath to be patient in all we do and also encourages fellow Muslims to be patient in all affairs they find themselves,  *ALLAH says* 1.“By Al‑‘Asr (the time). 2. Verily, man is in loss, 3. Except those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth [i.e. order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds (Al‑Ma‘roof) which ALLAH has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds (Al‑Munkar) which ALLAH has forbidden], and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in ALLAH’s Cause during preaching HIS religion of Islamic Monotheism or Jihad)” [al-‘Asr 103].  ALLAH is always with those who are patient. ALLAH did not say in the Quran HE is wi

DO NOT CURSE OR ABUSE ANYONE

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 27th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Wesnesday 21st December, 2022). *_DO NOT CURSE OR ABUSE ANYONE_*. BismilLāhir Rahmamir Raheem.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: وَلَعْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَقَتْلِهِ وَمَنْ رَمَى مُؤْمِنًا بِكُفْرٍ فَهُوَ كَقَتْلِهِ Cursing a believer is like killing him and charging a believer with unbelief is like killing him. Sahih Bukhari 5754. Abu Hurairah may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: لَا يَنْبَغِي لِصِدِّيقٍ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَعَّانًا It is not befitting the truthful that they curse others. Sahih Muslim 2597. Abdullah ibn Mas’ud said: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: لَيْسَ الْمُؤْمِنُ بِالطَّعَّانِ وَلَا اللَّعَّانِ وَلَا الْفَاحِشِ وَلَا الْبَذِيءِ The believer does not taunt others, he does not curse others, he does not use profanity, and he does not abuse others.

TO SIN IS NOT THE PROBLEM IN LIFE

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 26th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Tuesday 20th December. 2022). *_TO SIN IS NOT THE PROBLEM IN LIFE_*. BismilLah.  First of all, what was the difference between our grandfather Aadam (AS) and Iblis (The cursed Satan)? Aadam A.S, admitted his sin and asked forgiveness but Iblis was arrogant and said he was better than Aadam A.S. None of us is perfect, and because of this, we all make mistakes. In fact, even though the prophets never committed major sins, even they made mistakes. We learn this from the very start of the creation of man with Aadam Alayhi Salaam.  When Aadam A.S ate from the forbidden tree, he disobeyed ALLAH. But he was not the only one to disobey ALLAH. The shaytan, Iblis, also disobeyed ALLAH when ALLAH commanded him to bow down to Aadam but he refused. So, if they both did wrong, how did one become a great man and prophet, while the other became the greatest enemy of ALLAH? The difference was that Iblis was arrogant. H

ARE YOU FASTING TODAY?

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn. 25th day of Jumaadal Awwal 1444AH (Monday 19th December, 2022). *_ARE YOU FASTING TODAY?_*. BismilLāhir Rahmanir Raheem. Yes, I accept the blame if you forgot to fast today as I should have reminded you yesterday BUT you can continue as you read this as it's not too late even if you didn't intend for it.  Basically,  the purpose of fasting is to develop the quality of righteousness (taqwa), inwardly and outwardly, by abstaining from sinful deeds and training ourselves to control our thoughts and desires. Fasting is a deeply spiritual practice that is meant to benefit us in body, mind, pietyheart. O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you that you may become righteous. Qur'an  2:183. The word taqwa comes from the root meaning “to guard” and it

THE BLESSING OF ISLAM Are we grateful for it?

﷽ ➖➖➖ *THE BLESSING OF ISLAM* ➖➖➖ *Are we grateful for it?* ➖➖➖ The greatest blessing of Allah  ﷻ for his slaves in this Dunya is the blessings of Islam. As Allah ﷻ says  *أَفَمَن شَرَحَ ٱللَّهُ صَدۡرَهُۥ لِلۡإِسۡلَٰمِ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ نُورٖ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلۡقَٰسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مِّن ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ* _So is one whose breast Allah has expanded to [accept] Islam and he is upon a light from his Lord [like one whose heart rejects it]? Then woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah . Those are in manifest error._ [39:22] _ This blessing of Islam allows us to worship Allah ﷻ as he commanded us to worship Him and allows us to draw nearer to Him, if we didn't have it we would be of those who Allah ﷻ addressed *وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ* _And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he
